You are mining Lyra2rev at 58mhs ?  Use a different ccminer.  Easiest way to start is to download nemos miner or sniffdog, then manually try the miners if you dont want to run the program.  You should get around 70

I have two 1080ti one is a FE one is an aorus.  I'd like to sell the FE and get an aorus.  Problem is the slot spacing is tight.  Both cards occupy 3 slots and so will be right next to each other.

I am assuming this means it will be a heat problem.  Has anyone tried this?  Case has good airflow does that help?

Still heat problem. It's one reason evga cards are popular.

Hello guys i dont know if its the right place to ask but maybe someone will know the answer and help me to optimize my mining rig.

I currently use 1080ti's and mining monacoin. I use default setting on everything and also normal ccminer. I get around 58MH/s per card which according to whattomine should give me little bit more than 6$.
But the real revenue i get is 4-4.2$. I dont know why is that.

Does anyone got the same problem and maybe know how to fix it? I would be really glad for any kind of help.

Greetings

Yeah generally you’ll get maybe 20% less than what to mines prediction

well and when using a system like MPH there's lots of variables.  luck of the pool that day, the difficulty swings noone can guess ahead of time, and even the time it takes for your coins to hit exchange from time of mined, which there is prob like 6-8 hours or more.
Great place MPH, but you kinda get what you get by w.e blocks are hit, no way to calculate it exactly ahead of time

WTM is just a estimate, it's not set in stone. Most earnings are below what they est some higher at the end of the day, it's an estiamte. YMMV

I have 8 of these and yes....heat is going to be a problem if you push them to the limit (250Watt+) . My problem was that the backplate heats up the next card in line, which heats up the next and the next.....
So if you vent the space between the 2 cards, you should be save.

I’m leaving a 5-6cm space between mine using risers
Seems to be enough

Your FE should be 2 slots....

I have a FE and a Gigabyte GTX 1080 Ti that are both 2 slots and work fine in my case with 1 empty slot in between them. I don't think the Aorus with worth dealing with. I'd far rather buy an EVGA FTW if you want a higher end cooler since it isn't 3 slots and will hash just as well.

Yah kinda figured it would be a problem especially with mining and running the GPU hard.

The problem is the motherboard has 3 slot spacing between the two GPU pci-e slots.  So the giant aorus will be crammed in there right next to each other.  Might be best to replace the motherboard.  Not much else you can do to gain physical space short of putting one card on an external riser somehow.

If I decide against this and keep the FE I'll have to get an accelero hybrid III in there and do something about the noise at least.

So I've been splitting my rigs 50/50 between ahashpool on NIST5 and zpool on Neoscrypt...

The NIST5 setup is pulling in *much* more BTC / day.

Well that would be mostly because zpool is really a crappy pool.  Payouts are significantly lower than other pools on those algos.  Try comparing the algos on the same pool.

Fair enough. It came highly recommended but yeah, payouts suck. Hashrefinery is quite decent imho

how many btc per Mh/s are you guys getting on zcoin?
zcoin is not profitable comparing to other coins (nist5, keccak, lyrav2, neoscrypt, equihash based). Also it has problems with staled shares. Don't trust calculators, you'll get only half or less then expected.

Yeah sure with 5x1080ti MSI & 16MH/s on Zcoin I do average about 50USD/day or 10usd/card/day (self experience not calculator data), so can you let me know what other coin can do that at the moment CONSTANTLY? Please don't point me all these nist5 and neoscrypt algo related coins which now are dollars and in few hours pennies......
