I think it is a bad idea to buy Litecoin. If you want to invest 12000$ in one token I recommend you buy Ethereum or Bitcoin.
Long term investment that will bring profits, I would say ETH, if you are looking to invest in a coin and forget about it for at least a year. Bitcoin can also be consodered but we are seeing an uptrend so I wouldn't rush to put money now.
Although other cryptos are having the same increase but Bitcoin is having a higher rate. The proof to this is how its market value grew within the past two years. As such investing that amount of money to bitcoin has a chance to yield into huge profit in the future.

I do not think it is a good idea to invest your money in crypto right now for a long term. Short time holding gives much more profitm, bull times may not come,but ICOs still bring some profits

I suggest to invest bitcoin and ethereum, both are suitable for long-term investments, let alone the current price is still very low and most likely your profits can be more. holding a coin don't ask for a while, if it is time and the price goes up so high that's where you play to be the luckiest person. for me no matter how long but the coin has a much better future potential of bitcoin and ethereum.

If you still have that huge amount of money you can buy more bitcoin now for long term because today the price is still very low and when the time of bull market again bitcoin will surely goes up again like a bull runner in the sky.

All the coins with good market cap can be invested in without any worries. They are bound to go up once the bitcoin goes up. So you need not to worry, all what you have to do is to distribute your investment in different coins. Don't put all your eggs in the same basket.
Invest them in the EOS. They are only at the beginning of the path, the price will grow many times in a couple of years.
Couple of years is a long time in crypto. If you're investing and holding for that long then it's better and much safer to buy BTC and ETH.

It is best to invest in ETH or NEO. These two coins are the same. And in the future it will develop more bitcoin. For a long time. About 5-7 years as I guess. You will be sure that you have enough patience to invest in such a long time

I do not advise you to take risks if you are very new in the crypto market. You can invest in btc, eth, neo, xml, ripple, cardano .. These coins are much less risky.
Everything is risky in this market but I agree that BTC, ETH, NEO, EOS and Cardano have the most potential.

I can't mention a name here but you can do a research and find the right one with your own judgement . there is a big risk of losing money so be careful. I think it's better to invest in different coins than investing in an one coin
