Damn, reading the subject line I thought that I'm gonna read the latest news /hottest topics in the forum.. it was a bit disappointing but could be a good idea for someone to make a weekly overview of what is happening in the forum.
I like the idea, but wouldn't know which board to use.
My suggestion would be to create a self-moderated topic, where anyone can post forum news. To keep the quality high, all posts that don't receive Merit within 24 hours should be deleted.

I was thinking to do it myself. Gather all the interesting threads and topics for the week and add a brief description for each link but I started with my house renovation project and I don't have a free time for this. Hope around the summer to be finished with the big things. Then it will be better.

"Common rogue from Russia with a bare ass."

Completely O/T but that's allowed on Saturday mornings, the News of the World was always a pretty downmarket paper, even 100 years ago.
Salacious is a good word, ideal for post Victorian repressed Brits.

A story in Wikipedia:

Frederick Greenwood, editor of the Pall Mall Gazette, met in his club one day Lord Riddell, who died a few years ago, and in the course of conversation Riddell said to him, "You know, I own a paper."

"Oh, do you?" said Greenwood, "what is it?"

"It's called the News of the World—I'll send you a copy", replied Riddell, and in due course did so. Next time they met Riddell said, "Well Greenwood, what do you think of my paper?"

"I looked at it", replied Greenwood, "and then I put it in the waste-paper basket. And then I thought, 'If I leave it there the cook may read it'—so I burned it!"

Saturday morning newspapers in my country were long ago christened 'News of the Screws'.
I wonder if that might not be an even more appropriate thread title.

If that's the UK, you misremembered the day, it was Sunday newspapers, specifically the News of the World after Murdoch imported tits and scandal into it from the weekday Sun.
Oh, of course. 'Saturday Guardian' then is all I've got. I'll shut up now.

Updated with today's Trust data dump, see http://loyce.club/trust//2019-03-09_Sat_06.16h.

The few profiles I checked had at most a few changes.
Theymos moved Tomatocage from "Trusts" to "Distrusts", and at the same time excluded KWH. My guess is this is because of inactivity.

I just noticed a jump in my trust score, caused by theymos' DT1-update. See DT update log.
I'm currently running an update for my Trust list viewer, but won't be able to upload it tonight anymore. I expect it to be online 10-12 hours from now.
Done, see: http://loyce.club/trust/2019-03-05_Tue_22.43h

What about a "history" button on each user's page? So you can pull up that user's previously archived trust lists without having to go to http://loyce.club/trust/, picking the date, and searching for the user for each one.
I like it, but it's going to require some fiddling considering I didn't prepare for that at all when I created weird long URLs with the full time and date in there Tongue
I'll come up with something when I have some time.

Done! See http://loyce.club/trust/2019-03-04_Mon_22.25h.
Unfortunately, you'll only be able to browse backwards this way, the older Trust lists won't have a link to newer pages.

Would make it nice and easy to see how things are evolving over time, which is likely to become more interesting as time goes on.

Data updated! See http://loyce.club/trust/2019-03-02_Sat_05.56h for the latest Trust list viewer.

I like checking for big changes. My list has 3 changes, caused by users who all made big changes to their list (MaoChao, DIKUL and Deena).

--snip--

Don’t get offended about anybody else distrusting you though. I have about 20 assholes distrusting me just because I have Lauda in my trust list.
Same here. I was thinking I should try PM some of them to talk sense with them. Retaliatory trust doing its thing.

Update
DT1-status added to usernames. See http://loyce.club/trust/2019-02-25_Mon_21.39h.

This was the last improvement left on my list:
I have 4 updates planned
3. Mark users who are currently on DT1, thanks o_e_l_e_o:
What might also be useful is to mark which users are currently DT1
Unfortunately I can't scrape this, but I can make a list after each update (once a month?).
I'm using theymos' DT1 list. I've removed marlboroza because of this:
Blacklisted on request Smiley
That gave me similar results as Default trust breakdown, except for some small changes that were made since last Saturday's data dump.
It shows when someone is on DT1, followed by the number of inclusions minus exclusions from other DT1s. Excluded users show as DT1.
