NEW: Trust scores added to usernames (based on DefaultTrust DT2)
All Trust lists now show user's trust scores, this gives a quick impression of what DT thinks about a user. Sample:

A few people have deleted their entire list. I also noticed some of the ▄▀▄ REMOVE LAUDA FROM DT ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄ LIST UPDATED 2/5/19 ▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀▄▀ fans gave up, after H8bussesNbicycles seems to have left the forum: peloso removed his entire Trust list, and Thule made his own personal choices now.

Yes, it appears that I am now an official trust list backstabber. Thule has me on trusted on his list and I have him distrusted on mine. I should be ashamed of myself.

One that was strange to me is mdayonliner. I only noticed as he showed under my list previously.

Looks like he's chosen to wipe his trust list and exclusions. I have seen him catching more heat lately and I think this is part of his way of walking away for now.

My guess is they added "trust" when they meant to add "DefaultTrust", more or less like the users who tried to add everyone by adding a "*":

Thanks for the update. When setting up a personal "trust list", is it worth deleting the "defaultTrust" value?

It will still add "DefaultTrust" in your list if you remove the DefaultTrust from the list you customized and click update. It will be in middle of your list , between some names but will be there.

Not much has changed on my list
It was to be expected changes will slow down. I too barely change my list now.

Sneak preview: I'm working on a full Trust Depth breakdown for each user, to show the recursive implications of a custom trust list.

Damn, reading the subject line I thought that I'm gonna read the latest news /hottest topics in the forum.. it was a bit disappointing but could be a good idea for someone to make a weekly overview of what is happening in the forum.
I like the idea, but wouldn't know which board to use.
My suggestion would be to create a self-moderated topic, where anyone can post forum news. To keep the quality high, all posts that don't receive Merit within 24 hours should be deleted.

I was thinking to do it myself. Gather all the interesting threads and topics for the week and add a brief description for each link but I started with my house renovation project and I don't have a free time for this. Hope around the summer to be finished with the big things. Then it will be better.

"Common rogue from Russia with a bare ass."

Completely O/T but that's allowed on Saturday mornings, the News of the World was always a pretty downmarket paper, even 100 years ago.
Salacious is a good word, ideal for post Victorian repressed Brits.

A story in Wikipedia:

Frederick Greenwood, editor of the Pall Mall Gazette, met in his club one day Lord Riddell, who died a few years ago, and in the course of conversation Riddell said to him, "You know, I own a paper."

"Oh, do you?" said Greenwood, "what is it?"

"It's called the News of the World—I'll send you a copy", replied Riddell, and in due course did so. Next time they met Riddell said, "Well Greenwood, what do you think of my paper?"

"I looked at it", replied Greenwood, "and then I put it in the waste-paper basket. And then I thought, 'If I leave it there the cook may read it'—so I burned it!"

Saturday morning newspapers in my country were long ago christened 'News of the Screws'.
I wonder if that might not be an even more appropriate thread title.

If that's the UK, you misremembered the day, it was Sunday newspapers, specifically the News of the World after Murdoch imported tits and scandal into it from the weekday Sun.
Oh, of course. 'Saturday Guardian' then is all I've got. I'll shut up now.
