I'll update the data tomorrow.

I reckon the data has to be updated manually?  I ended up adding bones261 and amishmanish to my distrust list, and subsequently removed them several days ago, but they still show up in my distrust list when checking the data on your webpage.

To be honest, I don't know why I added them to my distrust list in the first place.  Both seem like reasonably good guys and have left feedback with which I cannot disagree.

Ok this is another helpful idea like your "Full merit transaction history for any user - now with GRAPHS!" project. In the Full merit transaction project - one can see individual'ss merit history using the userID: 1432468

Do you have any such idea for this Trust list viewer project too (Or I am missing something, I am sorry these days I am not following the forum much.)?

Update: Never mind I figured LOL

I assume the only users that show there (and therefore have their own page/file), are those mentioned in the weekly trust.txt.xz file dumped from the trust system.
Correct. Out of 2.5 million userIDs, only about 10k have a custom trust list, or are mentioned on someone else's.
The first entry is a bug I still have to find, but I choose to add Backstabbers, Merit and BBCode first.

If you never included/excluded anyone or never was included/excluded by anyone, you won’t show up there (because you are not on the dump file).

Hey LoyceV... Thanks for compiling this information.

I have a bit of a basic question that probably has been explained a zillion times, but I am unclear about how the member profile numbers and the numbers that are shown in the compiled list?  Likely I am more interested about the gaps.

>>>>>>>i1314775: tsoyens01 (0 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list)
3: satoshi (1635 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
4: sirius (2 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
12: nanaimogold (0 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
13: SmokeTooMuch (12 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
14: The Madhatter (0 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
30: BitcoinFX (51 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
33: m0mchil (1 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
35: theymos (3702 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
51: DannyM (0 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
163: Karmicads (1 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)<<<<<<

Why do the numbers go directly to 3 and 4 with satoshi and sirius respectively, and then to 12, 13, 14, and for example there are a whole bunch missing profile numbers between 51 and 163?  The gaps persist through the whole list, even down to the very end of the list, and the profile number gaps even seem to become bigger and BIGGER.

>>>>>2526482: ~DefaultTrust (0 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)
2530845: itomarketing (0 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)

2533257: sanju_redy (0 Merit earned) (Trust feedback) (Trust list) (BPIP)<<<<<<

Are those mission profiles that were created, but never activated or logged into?  Are some kinds of members removed from the list, such as banned members and other categories?  Can you provide a quickie explanation or point me to a page that explains member profile numbers?

(I don't know this user, I only picked him because he matches 3 out of 4 categories, while being compact enough to screenshot)

Umm..Isn't he like The Peter Todd ? I have read him being described as the Maximalist's maximalist..

And Thanks a lot for this Loyce. I saw a user who distrusted me and have sent them a PM to discuss it. Looks like the user didn't leave feedback and I would never have known otherwise without your handy tool. It makes me less intimidated about the Trust system and wiling to learn and apply it. You've lowered the entry barrier..Congrats!

I don't mean to nerd out too much, here (o.k.. yes I do, I admit it  Embarrassed).  But since you guys(& gal perhaps?), present as a bunch of nerds, I will suggest that based on the forum's 30 day algorithm, you, suchmoon, don't have to wait until February 1 to send smertis to Loyce.

I believe that you will be able to send Loyce 4 smerits on January 31 (and only up to 4 smerits) based on your having had sent Loyce 4 smerits on January 1.  Accordingly, those 4 smerits will become greater than 30 days old on January 31 and your 50 smerit max will then become 46 smerits in regards to Loyce..

Accordingly, if you were to attempt to maintain your maximum of 50 smerits per month towards Loyce for a period into the future, your 30 day algorithmically imposed ability to send smerits to Loyce would be like this:

Sent smerit:                 Replenish in 30 days on:
January 1  =  4   >>>>    January  31
January 2  =  4   >>>>    February 1
January 4  =  4   >>>>    February 3
January 6  =  7  >>>>     February 5
Etc... etc... etc....

What might also be useful is to mark which users are currently DT1
This can be useful indeed, I've added it to my TODO list.

Maybe removing the underlines from the links would make the list look somehow better for the eyes of the navigator. It would be easier to spot names when scrolling if there aren't underlines (I can be wrong though).
Thanks! This is exactly the kind of thing I was looking for. I've added it, and it instantly looks less like the '90s.

Loyce I am consistently amazed by your data aggregations.
Thanks Smiley This one was actually one of the fastest to make, but I expect it to be used more than the Merit data.

I thought the voucher kinda implied that it's useful Smiley

It saves me from having to add people to my list in order to see their lists, which is kinda dangerous at DT1 level.
That's like giving temporary superpowers to users Shocked

Edit: please don't do a backscratching/backstabbing version... that might turn into a real stabbing Smiley
I love it! Backstabbing for trust can be very useful to add:
green: mutual trust (=backscratching)
red: one user trust the other, but the other distrusts the first user (=backstabbing)

Loyce I am consistently amazed by your data aggregations.

Looking at your Trust List summaries I am reminded of the Civilization game series where you can see how the leaders of each civilization feel towards you. And then scrolling through the trust list of adversaries/friends you can deduce things like, "ah, the enemy of my enemy is my friend," or "yeah that guy has good tastes"... etc. Its pretty entertaining, and even educational.

Good work!

Boring layout
I'm not much of a designer, but I'm open to suggestions.

You don't really need to do a lot of CSS designing on it because it would take a lot of time and it isn't really a necessity since the only purpose of this is to provide information which it already does, but I would like to suggest a small thing, which you may implement if you like to.

Maybe removing the underlines from the links would make the list look somehow better for the eyes of the navigator. It would be easier to spot names when scrolling if there aren't underlines (I can be wrong though).

This is how the list looks right now:

This is what I'm suggesting:

It isn't difficult to implement. All you need to do is to add an internal CSS style tag, and then set the text-decoration property of all anchor elements (links) of the page to none. Below is how to do it:

Code:

Add this code inside the head tag of the page, and it would do the work for you.

Note: Mind the color change of the texts in the suggestion image. It is because I clicked the links and their state changed from link to visited (link and visited are link states in HTML).

Computers don't experience emotions. Stop trying to fools us with your mind circuit games.

But yes, this is very useful. Using the trust dump to see users' trust lists is easy enough, but using it to see who trusts or distrusts a particular user is time consuming and clunky - your list makes this much easier. Your suggestion regarding users with 8 or 9 inclusion is a good one. What might also be useful is to mark which users are currently DT1 - 9 inclusions isn't that relevant if the user in question also has 10 DT1 exclusions.

Boring layout isn't really an issue - it is uncluttered and easy to navigate.

On-topic: I found back this post:
There's this:
https://bitcointalk.org/trust.txt.xz is updated weekly; you could monitor that.
I may make a rankup list someday, if DdmrDdrm doesn't beat me to it.
I'm also a bit worried how easy it's going to be for a bunch of Newbies to get on DT1 by abusing just 1 Legendary with 200 sMerit. Of course exclusions will fix that again quickly, but not before creating some drama.
I have 4 updates planned
1. Add Merit-scores Done!
2. I'd like to highlight users who are close to DT1, say with 8 or 9 out of 10 inclusions, but it's going to be difficult with theymos' algorythm that determines which votes go to which user. Done! See DT1-election: Rank up pipeline.
3. Mark users who are currently on DT1 Done! Thanks o_e_l_e_o:
What might also be useful is to mark which users are currently DT1
Unfortunately I can't scrape this, but I can make a list after each update (once a month?).
4. Mark backscratching and backstabbing with green and red font. Done!

For now, I've only included this morning's trust data dump. See http://loyce.club/trust/2019-01-26_Sat_12.14h/, still with the same known small problems.

Maybe you should start a club like Foxpup for people you can't give more merits to because you already gave your 50 merit allotment to them. You can give them nifty prizes, instead. I'd like to have the chocolate cake myself. Anything chocolate would work for me.  Smiley

I encourage anyone to create their own custom Trust list!

On January 9, 2019, theymos made some major DefaultTrust changes. This made it much more important to create a custom Trust list. To know who you can trust, you have to know who they trust. Unfortunately, Trust lists can't easily be viewed, so I created an overview that allows quick navigation.

Without further ado, I present: LoyceV's Trust list viewer. (please see the next post for updates)

(I don't know this user, I only picked him because he matches 3 out of 4 categories, while being compact enough to screenshot)

Make your own Trust list
The format doesn't make it easy to copy someone else's complete Trust list. This is intentional.
I encourage anyone to create their own Trust list. Don't confuse your Trust list with Feedback though:
  • Feedback: people you trust (or don't trust: red)
  • Trust list: people who's judgement on others you trust (or don't trust: ~)
See LoyceV's Beginners guide to correct use of the Trust system for more details.
A must-read: DireWolfM14 explains the differences very well in My musings about the trust network.

Mistakes?
Unlike the Merit data dump, which shows userIDs, the trust data dump shows usernames. It's a pain to get all userIDs from this data, especially the ones with weird or even invisible characters. There may be some mistakes in the data, if you find one, please post it so I can fix it.

Updates and limitations
I plan to create weekly updates, probably on Saturday after theymos' weekly trust.txt.xz data dump. I keep older versions for reference, but I may delete them at some point. The data dump only shows relationships where both the truster and trustee have non-zero post counts (so when a user gets Nuked, it'll show up as if (dis)trust was removed).
Short-term, changes won't be processed until the next data dump. Long-term, I hope this can serve as a reference when needed.

NEW: Latest version (for bots)
This file contains a link to the latest version, and is updated weekly:

NEW: Blacklist
The following users are blacklisted for Trust list spam:
Being blacklisted means I don't process their Trust list. I still show their inclusions/exclusions from other users.
Unfortunately, I won't show their inclusions/exclusions on other users' Trust lists either, as this would create tens of thousands of new pages for users who otherwise wouldn't have a Trust page.
I still archive their Trust list: on top of the weekly index page, it shows "I used this copy to get userIDs". Click "this copy" for the original list. My list of userIDs is made after processing the blacklist.

NEW: Direct link to a user's Full merit history

Green arrow: Full Merit history
Red arrow: Improved navigation

NEW: Highlight Banned users

NEW: BackscratchersTM and Backstabbers
An interesting addition is showing conflicting trust. Many users have reciprocated  trust, but some are exact opposites. I've labeled them:
Green: mutual trust (=backscratching) or mutual distrust.
Red: one user trust the other, but the other distrusts the first user (=backstabbing).
Thanks to suchmoon for reminding me to add this!

NEW: DT1 voting power
A user's earned Merit determine's his voting power for DT1 members. To be on DT1, you need to be trusted by at least 10 users (Rank Member or higher):
-10 of them must have earned at least 10 Merit
-2 of them must have earned at least 250 Merit
See these posts made by theymos for details.

NEW: BBCode
All Trusts lists have a link to BBCode, to easily add the list to a forum post. It includes a link to this topic to avoid plagiarism.

NEW: trust.txt.xz converted to userIDs (machine readable)
I've included a link "userIDs" on top of my weekly index. This makes is easier to analyze the data.
("t" stands for "trusts", "d" stands for "distrusts")

NEW: DT1-election: Rank up pipeline
I made a topic in Reputation: DT1-election: Rank up pipeline.

NEW: Highlight weekly changes
I now highlight weekly Trust list changes. Sample:

(I have nothing against Foxpup, it's just a convenient sample to show changes)

NEW: DT1-status added to usernames
All Trust lists show when someone is on DT1, followed by "inclusions minus exclusions" from other DT1s. Excluded users show as DT1.

NEW: Trust scores added to usernames (based on DefaultTrust DT2)
All Trust lists now show user's trust scores, this gives a quick impression of what DT thinks about a user. Sample:

BPIP
Credits go to BPIP.org for providing most of the userIDs. I've added links to the user's profile on BPIP.org to the Trust list overviews for convenience.

Boring layout
I'm not much of a designer, but I'm open to suggestions.
Update: Thanks to Alone055 for the first improvement.
