Hi guys,

I am also up in Thailand (I believe the first p2p node in my country).

If you want to test my nodes:

p2poolthailand.com:9332
p2pool.asia:9332

or

103.7.56.170:9332
103.7.56.171:9332

Let me know what you think. Thank you!!

PS: 0% fee of course!

How can I be listed in the p2pool nodes list?

Node peers:  10

Did you remove the .git folder?  I'm pretty sure that's where it gets the version info from.  I used to run p2pool from ramfs & I did a cp -R doge.p2pool doge.p2pool.ramdisk or w/e, so it missed the .git folder & labeled my server as 'unknown'.

From my experiences w/ VPS/KVM & dedicated servers, China has a "decent" internal network, but "international" bandwidth costs an arm and a leg, outbound especially.

People that want good connectivity w/ mainland China usually end up with a host in Taiwan (heh heh), Singapore, South Korea, or Japan (which as far as I've seen is by far the cheapest, bandwidth wise).  Don't *ever* get a shared port, good luck getting any decent international speeds with that...

For US, in some cases Seattle is faster than Cali... see: China Unicom... though mostly it just gets routed through san jose still..

oh, just a fyi, ramnode looking glass from seattle:  http://lg.sea.ramnode.com/

and one day left on "42% OFF FOR LIFE! USE CODE NUMBERONE"

@ wlz2011,

That doa rate of 1.1% is very good, well done. I noticed the "Version: unknown 7032706f6f6c" - what changes were made compared to the standard software?

Thanks  Grin

win system python.

unable to identify the version.   (13.4-24-gf0eeb48-dirty)

I'm guessing you changed the name of the folder p2pool is in?.

Did not change the file name.

It's just a read error.

Actually p2pool is great, a lot of old miners just didn't work with it. I hope the new knc does and I'm sure it will.

Thanks for the details - interesting. China internet speeds are better than ours in the UK..... Tongue

Greetings to all Chinese p2pool miners!  Grin

Chinese network is not good.

p2pool

Outside the network need only 2-4Mbps / S

Actually 12KB / S

bitcoin-qt connection is limited to nine

Actually a 10-15KB / S

LAN 100Mbps / s

Thank you for your greetings.

China is already midnight.

Goodnight friends.

I want to give you some confidence.

P2pool  is the best.

I saw some people speculators.

I think this is very stupid.

There are currently stable 400T / S  .

Work together!

I hope you build p2pool node pool at home. Efficiency is higher than outside the network connection to the server efficiency. DOA 1-2%!

My friend's pool

Ordinary home computer

windows7  64bit

CPU : Intel Core i7-4770K

Memory :  16GB

Seagate:1TB

optical network:  10Mbps/s

Mining machine in the LAN

Miners difficulty:bitcoin address+1024

DOA: 1 - 2.5 %

Very Happy!     You can also!

P2pool enthusiasts from China

We're sorry, Google Translate

Mine at Jonny's Pool
Here you go:

--- 162.242.245.151 ping statistics ---
20 packets transmitted, 20 packets received, 0.0% packet loss
round-trip min/avg/max/stddev = 14.774/18.033/47.896/6.942 ms

I'm in the southern part of New Jersey...

Great start and nice work on the front end by the way.

Thanks for the ping, very low latency for you Smiley

Their is a lot more I want to do with the front end, hopefully will have some time for it next week.

I've also been playing around with the front end code, but haven't put as much time into it as you have.  I've done some modifications to the javascript (for both the calculation of node/miner payouts as well as to the charting scripts to add in other information).  Recently I've started playing around with the python to get more statistics, total BTC network hash rate, block difficulty, etc.  Unfortunately my job gets in the way, and when I am home and have free time, the little woman prefers I spend it with her rather than going on about "that bitcoin thing you do". Grin

My friend's pool

Local area network,

this is the best efficiency.

And share with you。

Your friend's node makes up about 10 to 15 percent of the p2pool network by itself.  Impressive bit of hardware he's got online.

OK,

Node is up and and stable at 120% efficiency currently (thanks to you guys!), there is still much do do on the front-end, but that will have to wait for next week.

The node is hosted in a Virginia (US) data center with quad processors, 100% SSD Drives, and a huge pipe.

I'd love to see some latencies from various places if anyone cares to give it a ping Wink

I'm in Connecticut and average 27ms right now.

Ever have one of those days where your miners just refuse to find shares?  Yup, that's my day today.  22 hours and 1 share.  400GH/s and 1 lonely, single share.  I feel like I should go give the S1s a little pep talk...  Cheesy

Yes I've had days like that at least it wasn't orphaned.

Is anyone else seeing "Unable to decode output address      0 BTC" with their recently generated coins? What does this mean? It's only on my P2pool generated coins. Is this someone mining with a bad address?
I see that on every single p2pool mined block that I check on Blockchain, even ones where I wasn't paid. Given that, I assume it's not my issue, so I ignore it.

Decentralize your hashing - p2pool - Norgz Pool
No. It has zero affect on hashing power  Smiley

Cool, in that case:

]NorgzPool beta is up and running in se Asia. http://pool.norgzpool.net.au:9332
Use BTC address as username.
No fee other than alt coins. Please feel free to point some of your miners at it to help me test. Thank you. 😁
