1BTC is too big as a gift and if i receive it from someone i will convert half of it to cash,because i always dreamed to start my own business outside crypto,i will hodl the other half for a long term investment,as i have seen bitcoins potential to make me profit in the near future,in this case the person who gave it to me the 1BTC will see that i have use the money in purpose and make him/ her realize im worth enough for the gift.

Interesting question put forth and I think for me I would use a small amount of it as a gift or travel (0.1-0.2 BTC) then use the rest to speculate on and hope for the best. I mean I would dip a little into alts but holding most
of that in BTC should do well in a few years here. Patience is underrated in this game and it pays off tremendously if done correctly.
With full confidence, I would sell BTC and invest money to build a rig. I think this would be a financially better option, than just hold it.

If someone will ever gifted me a 1 bitcoin I would not cashed it out because we all know bitcoins their value never become stable so I will jist hold it until the value will be much expensive than it used to be. Because I am just a student and I do not have some thing to spend that much money so probably it will just be on my wallet. And when the time comes I will convert it into cash and will start building a business that is of course cryptocurrency related or you can pay me using bitcoins. And I will still be continuing to gain bitcoins.

Hopefully this is true have 1 btc just a gift, lol stop expecting so high to have that btc it will never happen for sure. Well as the answer of your weird question, 50% of btc i hold for the better future and then 30% investing, 10%trading and 10% spending. Biggest amount in saving because this is for the future.

It depends from the circumstances. If I would have no money for special needs, for example for subsistence or payment for an apartment, then of course I would immediately sell bitcoin, but if I would have already a few bitcoins in my bitcoin wallet then I would hold this bitcoin and sell later when exchanging rate would be better.

Here in my opinion it would not be better to go with one decision because use of bitcoin in every ways is a better option for the bitcoin owner , who has the bitcoin in his wallet . Here if I would be at your place then I will put 0.5 btc for the trading in the altcoins and rest of them will be put by me for the long term investment in my direct bitcoin Wallet , Because I know that the value of the bitcoin rising day by day and I can easily make much money without doing a single minute work .
And with the same time I can work with half of the bitcoin that I putted in the trading .

If was given 1 btc and for starters, I would have no idea on what it is and then if I learned how much its price now, for sure I will keep it then I will research about bitcoin so that I can know how and why its price is like that and how can someone give that kind of amount so easily. I'm sure after knowing the basics about bitcoin, it will peek my interest and I would start investing my money in it.
Things come with the passage of time and above all with experience. If you are having 1 bitcoin, then you are much lucky than so many like us who are still striving hard for having something like that. IMO, but definitely gonna hold it and I don't wanna waste every single satoshis of it. Yeah it's a gift from someone and first thing that will can come to our mind is to spend some of it but with the current status now of bitcoin it's hard for me to spend it like I want to utilize every single of it. And maybe if I spend, it'll definitely go in exchanges as I buy some alts that I'll hold together with my other coins.
