What a great gift from someone! 1 bitcoin has a huge amount when converted into my country's currency. Receiving it unexpectedly,the first thing across my mind is to invest 1/2 portion of it in BTC cause it will gained much profit, 1/4 portion to hold it in my wallet to wait for higher value. .Then the rest would probably be use for personal expenditures.

It depends, if i received it now that i know how much does it cost, i will hold it for a long time but if i received it before when i have no knowledge about btc i will convert it into cash right away thay i received it.
The joy of receiving gifts from someone is different, if it is found in 1 Bitcoin, it will not be worth expressing in the language which will be of great pleasure. If you do not have any previous Bitcoin.

Maybe i waiting for a better price because i think bitcoin price is always raise up.Why i dont want withdraw the bitcoin to cash ? because i think i have money from working , just a bit , but i better invest the 1btc given from someone , and sell when i think the price more than now.
1Btc now is 7.500$ , i hope when i hold my btc , the price will raise more than 10.000$ and i will got a huge profit.
If someone gives me 1 bitcoin today, i will probably invest on bitcoin related products and make it grow, at least double it before i start spending the profit i made but still hold on to the 1 bitcoin that was given. If my investments grew more than what i expected i would probably look on the possibility of giving back to someone who is still starting out and help him be successful someday with bitcoins. I would also donate portions of what i earn to charity in that way i can give back to the community.
That's shoul be the right to do and for me, If someone gives me 1 bitcoin and I did not expect. For sure those bitcoin will buy altcoins because if I do that 1 bitcoin will grow but I will hold other bitcoin for longterm wait the price to increase more and earn profit. 1 bitcoin as of now is very big so be careful of what you invest choose best place for it. So that you can not waste the opportunity that you have received.
Since 1BTC does not represent a fortune as of now, I have no need to sell it right away, so what I will do is to keep it for a few years to make me a nice gift at that moment !

Hold. I will not spend even a little of it if it is not needed. That would be the wisest decision to make considering the developments that Bitcoin is into and the world of cryptocurrencies going boom driving a lot of investors towards it together with the blooming industry.
At this time we speak, I would hold it until there is a good ICO to invest to it.

If it is mine i will hold it till the price gets double or triple of its price now. Or just hold it as an asset.
Well that's true, given the fact that bitcoin ihas been rounding 6-7k nowadays we should see bitcoin has the ability to grow fast without knowing it or something huge to trigger this system. If I will be given the chance to have this kind of gift I am willingly hold it, and will continue the work I have started here in bitcoin.

Well many people will see it a monetary value only, people who rather know about the potential of bitcoins will know what it really is and the potential that it has. The person who sent that gift really means well.
I will give it all for you. Because, imposible someone gave me 1 btc. Even if I still have more btc, I will continue to invest in ETH or Waves.
If I am given a chance to receive a whole 1 btc in an instant, I will do is to hold it for long and wait until the price will grow up to 50% of the 1 btc, and then I will gonna withdraw it if I just need it and if not I will just invest it on btc.

If i have just recieve a 1 btc from someone as a gift, i would just keep it in my wallet for future purposes or for just emergencies only. Or i could use to start a small business so i could get more income to help my family to pay all of our expenses at home and use it for my studies. The best decision and the best thing to do if given 1btc as a gift is to sell some and put the rest into trading and investment.

For me if you provide me 1btc then it will help me for investing it on some of the things which are very very necessary for me so I will cash it out and invest it today but I will not use whole amount on the invest I will retain some of the amount for later use.....because work smart not hard but sometimes hard also.

i think i will wait for 2020, when bitcoin price may be 5x to 10x from current price.
Interesting question! Because I did not pay to have it, I wouldn't be afraid to lose it so probably I would not sell it. It would be a spiritual value for being a gift 
Thats true, Usually we are buying to have it or working very hard in exchange of btc and if someone gave you 1 btc for free its like you win in a lottery. We know the value of it is too expensive and its a good capital for trading or business. I will use it carefully for investment and make sure that it will grow in time and if that happens i will give back to that person who is generous enough to give me a worthy gift.
