I am so happy to join this contest even though I am doing this for the fun baking my own pie even though it may not look so good but I am happy as part of the first edition contestant for Bitcointalk pie backing contest. I am not so good in baking but joining this contest had enlightened me on some ingredients that are used in baking. I totally humbled myself so learn how to mix the flower with other ingredients to achieve this result. So happy I finally learnt how to back pie as a result of join this Bitcoin baking contest.

I am sorry to say this @Bushdark, but sadly your submission can't be accepted because your baking, while looking good, isn't a pie. Considering the interpretation that some members are having as to what a pie is (in some languages pie and cake are the same word), I've updated the OP with the definition of a pie, per Merriam-Webster:
a: a dessert consisting of a filling (as of fruit or custard) in a pastry shell or topped with pastry or both
To accept your participation would mean that the system would be unfair to other suitable submissions that took the time to make a pie and it wouldn't make the system equal to all. Don't be discouraged though as there is still enough time for you to make another submission, if you do find the time for it
.
My friend, thank you so much for this translation! I've updated OP with your thread, sorry it took me so long.
Hey RickDeckard, I proudly announce that this is the
first topic being translated pro bono in our respective local boards by our brand new Alliance Of Bitcointalk Translators [AOBT].
Little product placement here, if we are allowed :-P
GazetaBitcoin will be happy if you add a link to the
Romanian translation he just made for you
I hope that together we will help to give more visibility to the contest.
First of all congratulations on assembly such an OP team as far as translators go! And secondly, thank you so much for considering this contest the first project within your group! For sure language is one of barriers in any forum, and having a dedicated group of members trying to close the gap between all the communities that are present within this forum is an exchanging feat and a very noble one. Do keep up the great work!
She says I'm too late
Usually, she spend several days when she bakes a cake, and doesn't have that much time to spare before the deadline.
I did have an idea though: it should look like this:
BTC, but big enough for 12 people
Oh, that's a bummer but totally understandable. If this contest happens next year, do let your wife already know in advance that she will receive a call to arms as a redemption for not being able to take part this year in the competition
Here is my Submission.
Recipe:
Flour ,Baking, Water
Soabean oil
Sugar/Molasses
Egg
Thank you for your submission, unfortunately it doesn't comply with two requirements (while it does look tasty):
- Requirement #1 - While you have enough activity, you lack the required merit amount - which is 30 - in order to participate in the event;
- Requirement #2 - Sadly the submission can't be classified as a pie. Please refer to OP to see the definition of what a pie is.
A wonderful contest.
This pie is homemade by me and my cousin. To make this pie we need sugar, flour, oil, chocolate flavor, baking powder, milk powder, eggs and some other essentials. We had a lot of fun making this pie. And everyone celebrated with this pie after making it.

I am sorry (again) for saying this, but in order for the contest to be fair for everyone, your submission can't be accepted because that is not a pie but a cake. Fellow Becassine also did that mistake[1] but she turned things up around and also made a pie and ended with two incredible looking deserts. Don't give up, you still got time to make your submission!
