I feel it is better to invest 0.5 eth and buy NEO as the rest of your portfolio. NEO at this price is a really nice entry for anyone. I think it will hit $500 early next year. But You can not forget ETH in crypto world. it is always better to have some ETH in your Portfolio.
If you are comparing eth and neo for price wise go for eth,as eth already a big giant in crypto space and majority of partnership or upcoming project prefer eth blockchain.neo require time to capture that space of market for current situation go for eth.
I would take 15 neo, because 15 neo coins can make x2 faster than 2 etherium coin , neo have less market cap.
Although I love Ethereum very much, I would better do the same, man. If you invest in NEO, buying many altcoins, the return will be much better. Just my point of view.
I split my investment between these big coin, NEO and ETH. But of course, i think that NEO will bring much more profit.
NEO has a limited supply so I'm sure over time NEO will become more expensive in the future, to invest in the long term I now prefer NEO because I think its future NEO is brighter.
Soon 3des will be listed on IDEX after etherdelta. I think the tokens price will grow after listing on IDEX.
FYI. A little known 3des project announced scaling up and launched it's tokens on exchange. It might even overdo Sonm. The cap is small, I think x10-x100 is very reasonable to achieve. Bought some.

I'll go for ethereum than to NEO sorry to the neo's supporters but i choose wisely ethereum is 2nd strogest coin in the coinmarketcap follow to the king, and don't judge the ethereum capability bitcoin starting to uprise the value i think ethereum coming up to follow their king.

I'm researching diferent ICO marketing methods, there're too little interesting solutions.Here's a fresh one, I noticed 3DES issued a futures token and listed it on etherdelta during the ICO period. I think it's a good marketing tool to support the project.
someone has opinions and experiences myself, but i prefer to have 2 ethereum than 15 neo. because ethereum is more tested to survive and have a high stable level than any coin. so I think ethereum still has a good future.

Both are strong but NEO is cheap right now so If I were to chose between the 2 I pick NEO as a good investment and while waiting for cash-out . I will collect gas on the wallet so I also get a small value .
