If you ask me 2016 will be in the books when we talk about bitcoin. This year was very turbulent with the halving, block size debate, the real satoshi and the super hack at bitfinex.
I don't think we experience a year such turbulent.

I Personally belive that 2016 is the Year of Bitcoin. It has shown great progress this year alone
So that it can grow even more, I believe that you need to popularize countries whose currency is unstable.

The bear market has lasted long enough. I predict 2016 is the year where bitcoin finally breaks through, both in price and in mainstream adoption.
People say this every year. If it was to break into the mainstream it wont be next year. Maybe in 3-5 years but not any time soon. Bitcoin has been moving very slow for over a year now and unless some massive corporation or industry gets on board it'll probably be another slow year.
. At least maybe this year would be better than past years.If we see increase in the price of bitcoins then we can consider it as an year of bitcoin and same thing we experience in this year and we can expect the same in coming years too.

Yes its very hard what is gonna happen we are all happen on nice prices but the bitcoin is unpredictable so no one can know this right now.

Bitcoin had been promoted since the start and yet this hasn't been adopted for the mainstream still. in fact banks are trying to create their own instead.
I think btc will never be in the mainstream still even after all the promotion. so long as its value goes high than what banks will have in the future i think its better this way.

There have been a large increment in the number of sites that are newly opened based on bitcoins, so yeah this is a year of bitcoins. A year of bitcoins does not just mean that the price go very high.
i like how you think about bitcoin, but it's a fact that the majority of the people look at the price and the hight of the profit they made to call it the year of bitcoin. they don't care about the adoption and the technical side of bitcoin which are very important as well. it's pure selfishnes from people.

2016 is not yet finish but before halving comes in previous month the price was like skyrocket that is why we can say that this year will be good it was gives lot of profit for the investors. And i think also next year would be great if this current month will be stable until in the end of this year.
We do not know for sure, but it is possible that this year may become even better for btc, if the price get higher and stabilize at a better level.
Doubt it, 2017 maybe, but I think it will require a lot more time for btc to get into mainstream and accepted fully as a currency as it is. I'm thinking 2019-2020 to be the best year for bitcoin so far, it may have some falls in prices but I don'treally think that 2017 will change THAT much, maybe the price will go up for 100$ or 150$.
