I am quite sure that they only pay out a very small percentage of their salary in Bitcoin as the volatility makes it not interesting for people to receive everything in Bitcoin as they have fixed expenses each month.

Its possible but IMO for now I guess 2016 is the year for bitcoin because of the halving. But if the effect of halving is good and continue till next year and surpass the price during halving i would say 2017 is the year of btc.

I think 2016 is the year of bitcoin because we will see that the price will increase more around 600-900 after block halving. This is just my though.. but if we see more great opportunity in 2017 about bitcoin and more store are accepting bitcoin as payment.. maybe 2017 is the year of the bitcoin.

The chance is really high that Bitcoin can reach that high value and that is perfect for the people with Bitcoin already because they waited a long time.
It is hard to know what is going to happen with Bitcoin but you should have to take the risk to sell it.

I believe it is the price, the price itself implies a lot of things that is happening in the bitcoin community. Let's say the price will consistently increase its value then I would say that their is a massive adoption for different sectors of the world, and that would only happen if their is a good publicity all over the area and with some adoptions of big merchants in the world.

Yes, halving would be the biggest decider for making a year as year of bitcoin. But, halving will not take more time to trigger the prices of bitcoin to go in rocket speed. So, I believe in 2016 itself we are going to see new high prices for bitcoin. So, 2016 still has more chances to be year of bitcoin IMO.
