2017 can be the year of the Bitcoin but so can be every year if you are just speculating about it. There is no prove that proves that 2017 is going to be the year of the Bitcoin.
We only hope that it is going to be the year of the Bitcoin because it is better for us as the users.

Yes I do believe that every year is bitcoins year because of different good news that's happening to bitcoin. I'm very hats off for the development team of bitcoin that way they introduced, market and promote it. It would very hard to worked on that by salute for them.
Look at those alt coins most of them were just dumped.

We are still in 2016, we don't even see the halving of this year. so Saying anything about bitcoin in next year is little difficult for me. I think we can better predict about bitcoin for 2017 after upcoming halving..
