I think that 2018 is not the best for cryptocurrencies, because prices are falling, and the growth is not quite noticeable,but I think in 2019 there will be a progression such as in 2017

Well, it is tough to predict since we don't have any assurance or even a sign that bitcoin will fluctuates positively right this or it will fluctuates negatively with this time. Yes, bitcoin and the other cryptocurrency are decentralize as well, they ride the same boat sailing on a wave going higher or lower, but the wave itself is hard to predict when it will go high or going low. The thing is that the peak and the deepest layer will be reach along the crypto run all out the year.
Actually it is very hard to predict but , it seems bearish, as per my opinion and lots of people estimations that 2019 will be better than 2018.
I believe there are lots of coins with great potential in 2018. I will hold Ethereum, Waves, Binance Coin and Odyssey for the whole year. Other bets are Zeepin, WePower, Neonexchange and VeChain.
we have to look at all the charts and various "low forecasts", because too many crypto and investors who have block-industry leaders believe that 2018 will be phenomenal for bitcoin and crypto currencies in general like last year.
Unfortunately, 2018 began very badly and became even worse throughout. I stopped believing that in 2018, cryptocurrencies will show new price records. Most likely this year the market will be red. I hope that 2019 year to correct the situation in a positive way.

More regulation would not only be a bad thing as Bitcoin clearly is getting manipulated. The total market cap for blockchain is still very low. Still a number of good projects have already secured good financing or are even making money already. No matter if Bitcoin goes lower like 5K or not, at the end of the year it will be a good performance again like all the years before.
Bitcoin going lower at some stage would generate a clear green light for the chart analysts, too.
I really doubt Bitcoin will ever fall below 5k as it already costs 8k to mine 1 Bitcoin on average. In this article below you can find the current mining costs for each country and when you calculate the average you get around 8k.

The growth might seem not to be coming now, but i am still optimistic that bitcoin and some other altcoins will grow sporadically this year. Bitcoin might be seen to hit another height this year, more than what we had last year. Also, as regards regulations by the government, they will only try to regulate it, but they might not succeed in doing that.
the prediction of cryptocurrency 2018 is very difficult and probably a lot of wrong or misses. in fact in the middle of this year, bitcoin and altcoin prices fall too far. the price continues to decline and the market continues to fall. but it's also beneficial for us to start saving lots of altcoin at cheap prices, maybe in December the price will rise again like last December prices, even though the market is getting worse, we must be good at utilizing the opportunity to keep profit.
I believe in 2018 we won't see much rise just like we saw in 2017, this is because a lot of people are still afraid to invest after what happen last year ending and beginning of this. crypto price rise so high and later dip almost half the price, many people lost a whole lot of money, so new people are afraid to invest.
