some of cryptocurrencies have it own time to raising, if everybody know what coin will mooning i think there will be no one will going to work, there is huge uncertainty in a lot of cryptocurrency, so choose wise when we want to invest on it will made us happy.
It will be tough and hard year for alt coins but in the end of year they are gonna be sweet. I hope so because I hold many alt coins and don;t give a good profit yet.

I think 2018 will be a big year for third generation blockchains such as EOS and Cardano. Bitcoin and Ethereum have strong network effects but they will find themselves tested. IOTA is also a strong contender.
Yea 2018 is a good opportunity to grow for altcoins, some of them are doing great eg. ethereum, ripple etc but there is always that chance that many altcoins will fail to grow. So choose altcoins that seem to be having a good potential for growth in the long term.

Yes 2018 will definitely be a year for altcoins , currently all the regulations happening in the crypto space at the moment will make crypto to be strong and I believe the regulations will soon be over then crypto will be fully adopted by more people and it will make it to moon.

It has start to soar now, the first quarter was not productive but good thing we start the 2nd quarterwith a good price recovery. If this will continue we could hit and surpass the ATH of bitcoin and we know when that happens

Yes being top 3 Ripple give hope that altcoins can compete with any other coins. But, still a long way to go because some altcoins are just for hype pump/dump. Still there are many promising altcoins which is within top 100 that can perform well in the future. Let's just hope that they can deliver what has written in their roadmap.
