I think to early to say good or bad year for altcoins though in reality the value is very disappointing but stay cool we still many more months to go and we're still hoping for the best.
Very glad to see ETH raised a lot from yesterday till now, this is a good signing, I am confident that the market will recover soon this year.
Its true that 2018 seems a good year for altcoins now that it has gained more popularity and we can see that more users are starting to become active in alts not just in btc. On the other hand though, early this year, alts including btc are facing forks that I would say is drastic but still, I see great potential and improvements when the we reach late this year. I still believe that it will regain what it has lost.
Altcoins is making better as currency everyday and i believe that this year we will see more features, more benefits and higher prices on altcoins.
it is not right to say that right now, since the day we entered in 2018, the market has become very bad. prices are all down. The subcoins are in very bad condition. hopefully later times prices will rise.

Its already year of bitcoin and last year was aswell , just 2 years ago it was at 500-600$ per BTC . 2 Years ago total MarketCap was at +- 21 billion and now we are at 300 Billion , i think it just gonna be bigger and bigger . Now big boys came in play and definetly will come more
Yes, I also expect a lot from this year 2018, it should be the beginning to understand all people about the crypto currency, many people ask me what and how is done in the crypto world, what I answer to them read on the Internet, on television they are neither worthwhile will not say
This will be the greatest year for all the Altcoins. Just take a look at Ethereum price. Such a really good year that it pumped so high. The price goes down but it didn't fall to its lowest price.

yes ripple I think is still the best of altcoins others, and I think a good year for altcoins is wrong, every month there must be a market price up and down it tends to follow the current fever for now 
I'm still not convinced that this year is the best year for altcoin, because at the moment there is a lot of bad news about bitcoin so it has an impact on altcoin prices. We'll see if this year altcoin improved or the price is getting down drastically.

Yes, i this kind of situatin we'll see the difference between promising and shitcoin but that doesn't mean that this year will totally be bad for altcoin cause every was affected. However, this is not over yet.

Not all of them theres always a coin that dev will abandon it and never comeback. You can't remove the failure in life, even in cryptocurrency. Not all the coins will success but I am looking forward to see the cryptocurrency rising this year. I think that 2018 will be an overall good year for cryptocurrencies, but we also need to keep in mind that after a bull market like this there will sooner or later be a bear market as well
That's right. I do agree that 2018 will be the year for altcoins. The value of ethereum is already reaching 1k dollar and it is a good sign that this coin does really have a potential to grow its value. It may look good for some, but it also looks a little bleak for a few. Altcoins would always be a player in the market, and its movements would be like this every timeBelow $300 in India and made its value dumped -400% just within two months.

Personally I think this year is the year for Altcoin go to the hell.
It is very difficult to believe that the year 2018 will be positive. But I still hope that from the middle of the year there may be a reversal of this downtrend
since the beginning of the year all prices have fallen. I don't think this year will be good for the altcoins.
