I think only the second half of this year will be successful for whole cryptocurrencies market. Because it takes time for the market rebounded and investors felt stability began to invest in cryptocurrency again.
I am not that excited about this year. The trends so far have been overwhelmingly negative. All the major coins such as Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin are down from their peaks achieved in 2017 December.
I really hope it will be a good year for altcoins. Because of the recent bad times we had , everyone needs a good run from alt coins. Many people lost so much lately so we are all hungry for some good news. Let's see when and how the market will settle , then we can talk about the future.
2018 is a good opportunity to grow for altcoins.we all hope and expect 2018 will be better. I think the markets will 800 billions this year again or much higher.
I was thinking about that too but not only in altcoins but also in bitcoin this is the second qarter of the year and i cam see a good sign of altcoins price i hope this will continue untill the end of this year.

there are some that are still good for the investment, such as Ethereum which has a good advantage and fast in transactions so I think we choose altcoin which has a long growth period of time
It is very risky to forecast anything crypto related, everyday new factors arise with the capacity to influence the markets.
Maybe 2018 will be the long awaited year when mass adoption becomes a reality. If this happens, the markets will expand and the prices might jump to new records.

I think that 2018 may be the year that can open many opportunities and doors for the cryptographic world and especially for the altcones, now it is the time of growth in the media, thereby attracting new investors.
I love the idea of mass adoption of the cryptocurrency so yes 2018 is opening up doors to new innovations and growths in the existing. I think btt is doing a very good job this year washing out scams and helping the world to know genuine projects. I have dreams of creating an altcoin too to benefit all youths😉
We can't just generslize from the point of view of ripple alone since the market cap is largely determined by the dorminant coin - btc. But yea, better 2018 is yet to come, markets are green.
after looking altcoin condition right now, i don't think this year will be a good year for a ALTCOIN, i don't know why altcoin is suffering right now, maybe because bitcoin and ethereum price is falling and many fud is attacking cryptocoin world

Did it start badly? But Altcoins are going to become more dominant this year, and expects many more crypto funds will launch and the total market capitalization of cryptocurrencies will quadruple to $2 trillion this 2018.
I think a lot of people started off optimistically about 2018 but so far, it's been all bear trends. Though that is not to say it won't improve, but I still think that 2018 will be the year of blockchain and that we'll see more and more blockchain uses and application in the real world.

Yes I agree this 2018 opens a good start for many alts and it seems this will continue but one thing I notice is that as the value of many alts increass the bitcoin price remain on its range for a couple of weeks now and did not appreciate much does it means bitcoin will be headed by other alt? Or ethereum or ripple will replace it in the top. But its good to know we have now many options for investment and many of them were promising

What do you mean first 4 months, maybe you should correct it, we are in the 4th month and it seems like the market is recovering. This would lead us going to uptrend again and what we witness in the last year will happen starting this month, we are currently on a pump trend right now.

Yes, you are right. Many altcoins will be promising this year. But only those that are of useful projects. The coin is worth nothing and will not grow if it is unpromising.
I think 2018 is the best year for Altcoins.This year, each Altcoin price will be different, and this year they will reach the desired prices. It's gonna be a great season.
