As we witnessed a bearish year which lasted longer than the prediction and some people was it was the bad year for crypto but i feel it was a the year of correction as the value of crypto were overachieved at the end of 2017. Hence we are having a correction period to what the real value should had been? Kindly share your opinion.
I have the same opinion with you. This is really a bubble. And you know, a bubble flies easily, it also easily breaks. So I sold all my tokens in late 2017 and I still keep USDT till now. I think this is a good time to buy a lot of altcoins. The price of ETH is too cheap compared to its real value.why do you think that ETH is too cheap compared to its real value, real value is what the market tells, despite what all of us think
i do think that it will go up, but timeframe for upside is questionable

Many people say it was a correction in what happen last year but as we can see many people are still adopting bitcoin and look in the market cap it has huge amount compare last year so maybe there was a big impact that will happen this year or maybe early next year let us wait dor the right timing.

Yes, the bubble in 2017 had to be corrected and balanced out for Bitcoiners to make some profits in 2019. Even the stock markets has to go through some correction phase, now and again. I think we have reached the bottom end of the correction phase and we are going to get into a Bull market soon.
I hope Bakkt will be the trigger for the Bull market and it will push us back to a even higher ATH in 2019.
If thatse the case, I would love to work harder these days so I can expect for a higher amount of profit to gain since we can say that Bitcoin this year may not be fruitful as what it was last year but the fact that it undergoes some correction year was a great Idea for me, like a cliché part says "prevention is better than cure" which may be applicable to us so we can expect much better things in near future which I believe is going to happen.
It is difficult to say for sure to which pointthe price will fall, but I guess that yesterday [15/11/18] we reached this level. I think this will be the last bottom this year. I also assume that in December, a bull run will begin and the correction will finally end.
Some projects moved their important events to the 4th quarter of 2018 (Stellar, Nem, Ripple), I think that they also count on the end of correction in the near future.

Yes, at the end of 2017 there was a huge HYIP on cryptocurrencies and prices soared very high, so it is not surprising that this year there was a recession. It is not known how long this will continue, but if we want to be successful in this industry, then we must remain here and believe until the end in crypto-currencies.
It was something like that, but I could not call 2018 the year of correction. The correction simply cannot last for many months. It was a period of stagnation as perssimist say, and the optimists will call it the stabilization.
Meanwhile, advice those that during the all time high to buy in other for them to make up for their loses in full.
Indeed, this year is very difficult for all investors. For many, the investment portfolio sags 2-3 times, causing only frustration and panic. It is very difficult to predict what will happen next

this year was the worst condition ever in cryptocurrecy market.to fud and price manipulating by whales and speculator.even government take their roles in this market too.

This year is indeed full of corrections and disappointments to most of those who have bought during the time when various coins are skyrocketing. But, it is clear that the market is finding its strong support level which could mean that the longer it stays at the bottom, the stronger the support, the next direction would be no other way but to go upwards.
Yes that's true, this year is a year of concern and makes me very tired, but I'm still trying to hold on and hope this condition can improve quickly.

There is nothing to reevaluate, bitcoin is not a stock in which you can accuse the CEO of doing something wrong, the developers have been doing everything right, probably the only thing that you can accuse them is that it takes them a lot of time to update the network but that is understandable because they do not want to make mistakes, the drop in the price has nothing to do with the quality of bitcoin. 
By the end of the year, we did not know if there was any adjustment to bitcoin prices and other electronic currencies. From early 2018 until now, the adjustment of electronic money not as expected by investors. Transaction too slow, the price is too low.
I've been around here for a while and the current scenario reminds me of what happened during 2014. We had hit the ATH in 2013, and after that there was a sharp correction lasting for almost 3 years. I am afraid that the scenario is repeating.
Even though this year the price of bitcoin fell down, don't let yourself panic and think bitcoin will not be able to return to a higher price, still believing bitcoin will be able to increase and hold for future profits.
Hodl amd wait is the key. Probably many crypto enthusiasts have failed their expectations but then we should continue believing to crypto currency. We can say that this is not that good year but there is still December before year ends. Just hodl and wait.
I think if some crypto investors have stopped checking the price for a couple of months it would do a favor for them. Seeing the price going down, especially so fast as it has happened during the last 24 hours, they start panic selling trying to "save" at least half of their investment and end up with 50% loss in the best case scenario. Most likely those people will never try to engage in crypto again, and they will remember it as something which made them lose their money, while, in fact, they could have earned with it only by doing one thing, staying calm. People who sold their coins at $500 in 2014 were in the same position, although they thought they did the right thing seeing like the price was going further down later.
2018 is a year of overall crypto price adjustments, but with regard to bitcoin it stays at $ 6500 so it's likely that there will always be 2019 for all crypto to get a good market, to stabilize their prices.
Hoping that this coming year will be a year of cryptocurrency just like what happened last 2017 where a lot of crypto goes up fastly. Just like what you said that 2018 is a tear for crypto to adjust so hoping that they have an adjusment with all the crypto and makes everything stable this coming year.
Yes probay but there is so much correction being done? I can't imagine that bear market has gone quite long. I was expected that there could be some bull run where peak season was approaching. Anyway, If this is a year for correction then hopefully it will end now. The investors now are worried and some are done panic selling already.
