India vs England the tow titans going to finally play against each other and England losing 2 in a row would be down and facing India would be again not that easy. In order to stay in the WC they will have to win this match else it will be very difficult for them.

England have reasonable start as both openers still on and they have 47 runs in first 10 overs look like they are going for 330+ if they want to stay in for last four.

England brought back Roy in their team despite he was not 100% fit. Bairstow has already made a century and still not out. England have crossed 200 with only 2 wickets down and 20 overs still to go. I can see England making a massive total today.  No one expected this type of aggressive batting against quality Indian bowlers.

Bairstow out at 111 and what a innings he has played to put England on the top of this match. England are now 205/2 in 32 overs and are on the way to make easily 350 runs in this match. India would find it difficult to chase down this score in this match as chasing is not easy.

With Jason Roy back in the team after the injury they had the best start on a batting pitch and they are posed to score over 350 runs once again, India had an opportunity to review for a wicket when Roy edged to the keeper but Kohli did not went upstairs and that was a big mistake as they are finding it hard to break the opening partnership, Shami bowled really well but there were many inside edge boundaries which was unfortunate. If they cannot take wickets then it will be a difficult run chase even in this pitch.

Afghanistan again was so close to winning this match like against India yet lost this match against Pakistan. OZ outplayed the NZ and this is not a good sign as NZ is strong contender for the WC winners and this put OZ now in the first place.
Pakistan always like to play with fire and the match against Afghanistan showed once again that they are not good at chasing, every time they win the toss they can play freely and make a good score on the board and with the bowling they have, they can defend the total, historically they are not good at playing under pressure, if not for the special innings from Imad Wasim they would have lost here.
Australia steam rolled New Zealand, i expected Australia to win the match considering their strong performances in world cup tournaments and yet again they demonstrated they could handle New Zealand in the big tournaments.

I have my doubts regarding yesterday's match. The bowlers were performing well until the 46th over, when the Afghan captain (Gulbadin Naib) decided to bring himself on. Remember that the leggie Samiullah Shinwari had two overs remaining at that point. Then, 46 runs was required from 5 overs, at a rate of 9.2 runs per over. Naib conceded 18 runs and it swinged the match in favor of Pakistan. Many in India are accusing Naib of gifting the match to PAK.

I don't think NZ is a good candidate for this edition world cup. Their batting side is poor which have been proved since the beginning. Most of their winning was so close to lose. They have qualified to the semi but will not be able to make it final.

I really thought New Zealand could of won against Australia after bowling them out for a moderate total but once again Strac ripped through the New Zealand batting line up like he has done many times before. This time it was the middle order that helped Australia get to 243 along with Usman Khawaja at the top. Australia look very good right now and even though they did lose to India they would have to be the favourite to win.

England v India is a huge match for England as its a must win match for them if they want to make the finals as Pakistan have jumped them after the close win over Afghanistan.

True Starc has helped NZ to collapse but if you look back, NZ win most of their game closely against Bangladesh, SA, Pakistan. So, it's nothing surprise for me. I am impressed with the innings of Usman Khawaja and Alex Carey. Carey played an outstanding match, this guy is going to be some big one.

Those who think that either Bangladesh or Pakistan can qualify need to think again. I know that it is going to be tough for England. My prediction is as follows:

ENG: win against NZ, loss to India. To finish with 10 points.
PAK: win against AFG, loss to BAN. To finish with 9 points.
BAN: win against PAK, loss to India. To finish with 9 points.

The 4th semi-final spot in all probability belongs to England.
After some plus-minus, I mean doing some math I feel that Bangladesh will not win the race. However, I feel that Pakistan has a great opportunity to lock their spot at number 4 by defeating Bangladesh in their next match. England is in high risk of dropping out unless they win both of their next matches.

I'm trying to repair my rusty time travel machine to go in the future to see the exact result. Grin

I'd double that. It would be really difficult for Bangladesh to defeat India. While New Zealand and India would be both tough for England. If Pakistan be able to defeat Bangladesh, they'd easily be in the semi finals where they'd likely meet India. Though England is a much consistent team than Pakistan, they lost some crucial matches and risked their position.
Well, What if-
England lose against both NZ and IND,
BAN lose to India and win against Pak?
Bangladesh is going to be the Semi Finalist, isn't it?
I think all the three team have chance now, depending on other team performance though. I'm more confident on Bangladesh that they will make it.
Peoples doing too much math and statics about last four now days are numbered we will have this all here so just chill and enjoy matches  Wink Cheesy

Surely Pakistan is coming to take two additional points from Afghanistan. However, Pakistan has no consistency in their performance in CWC19 except last two games. As Afghanistan beats Pakistan in warm up, will they do it again in today's match?

A focus of public attention also put in New Zealand vs Australia match. I supposed to state NZ will win today!
Pakistan has lost its sixth wicket and Afghanistan seems strong with its bowlers increasing its chance of winning. Further the lack of experience from the players has made more mistakes and finally loss it to Pakistan on the final over.

On the match between New Zealand and Australia there is no good performance from Australia. Finally it has ended the innings with 243 which looks a chasing target for New Zealand.

OZ are struggling against NZ and are 188/5 in 40 overs. Though both the current batsman are playing at 60 but if they lose them then NZ can wrap up OZ under 260 and can chase down this score to qualify for the Semi final.

That's the unpredictable nature of Pakistani team that they can beat the best team on any day or loss to the weakest team. We cannot grantee that Pak will win today unless they win it.

Australian are consistence in nature and this will mean that they will win this match too against Newzealand (seeing their current form).

Well, I think Pakistan will not lose to Bangladesh and they will finish up with 11 points which take them straight to the 4th position. And the results of other matches do not matter.

Anyways, its a do die situation for Bangladesh, Pakistan and England and we are going to see some exciting matches in which these three teams are involved.

That's a fair prediction, but the fourth spot will have a hard fight. England seems to be in the tough situation as the team it has play has already qualified. Those two matches can't be predicted to be on the side of England though they have the home ground support.

If England wins tomorrow against India, then the further matches will be very interesting as Pakistan and Bangladesh will be under the compulsion to win to stay on the top.
