Just need to replace Ja's points.  Brooks needs to come back and have a great game here.  Still think they can win tonight.
That's the problem for the team that relied so much in a single player. Who is going to step up now? I also like this series to be tied but It would take a collective effort and an off night for Warrior's lethal shooters for the Grizz to win. The thing is we know GSW has many scorers so the odds are against the visiting team.

Grizzlies had a ton of players step up it wasn't all ja this season.  He just gets all the press.  When ja was out during the season Memphis still rolled teams

Also they really need to step up and don't let GSW shooters see some green light because if they let them shoot an easy basket then probably we can see the same scenario.

The problem is, even well-defended or not, Warriors sharpshooters are still draining those shots. Now that Morant possibly won't play for the Grizzlies, that's a big problem to deal with as Morant contributes to both offense and defense.

I'm seeing a 3-1 here by the Warriors and they might also be able to cover the -10 handicap.

But regardless if Morant was injured or not, it's really hard to deal with the Warriors in front of their home crowd which is one of the loudest in the league.

The explosiveness of Morant will be missed out if he cannot play on the series so I guess all bettor will go on Warriors for that knowing that they have the phase and they already exposed the weakness Grizzlies. I have to say I didn't expected both series to be 2-2. I expected Suns to sweep Mavericks to be fair, maybe that was me just undervaluing the talent at Mavs, I imagined it would be a lot more easier for Suns to beat Mavs than most teams they played against. I was wrong there and the series is 2-2 out of the blue.

The other series, I expected Sixers to win, easily win, but that was before Embiid got injured, then I started to believe that Heat would easily win, which they did when Embiid didn't play, and now Embiid is back it is back to 2-2 again. Both of these series are really screwing with my mind, it is one side one moment and the other another moment, let's see what happens.

Anyone else also watching the Suns vs Mavs game!!?

I never imagined... the Mavericks would be giving so much "work" to the Suns!! Even Booker being on-fire isn't enough for the Suns to be superior to the Mavs!
It's been a competitive and interesting game to watch

That was crazy. Finney-Smith had himself a game. With Luka getting some offensive help and tying up the series, the pressure is on. I’m not exactly sure what went wrong for the Suns today but they had better be careful or they will find themselves with their back to the wall while one of the league’s best is trying to put them away. I didn’t think the Mavericks had a chance without Luka scoring 40, so Finney-Smith proved me wrong today. I’ll be keeping an eye on him during game 5. I hope the Suns defense will be as well.
Exactly, I also agree that this was crazy! I never imagined that the Mavs would be able to get where they are and they still managed to tie the series. Even Booker playing well was no match for the Suns to win!

I have no doubt that this series will get more exciting!!

^That's great! He definitely deserve that award. One of the game changers of the league and the point of view in center positions. They can also learn to be a good passer. Congratulations to The Joker.

I doubt the Grizzlies will recover from what the Warriors are throwing at them. From defense to the offensive end, they are having a lot of troubles to answer back. Frustrations are also swallowing them and it's not a good mentality when it comes to the playoffs. Experienced players will definitely win this one.

Still think they are getting too much disrespect.  I expect a bounce back game for them even if ja can't go.  Tyus has one of the best assist to turnover ratios this year, think he led the league.  So they will have a stable point guard still.  Just need to replace Ja's points.  Brooks needs to come back and have a great game here.  Still think they can win tonight.

I honestly would’ve liked to see Joel Embiid win the MVP this year. I thought he earned it and the playoff circumstances he’s in now prove it. Even injured, his team needs him to win. Congrats to Joker in what is a well earned MVP. He’s redefining the role of center and showing that big men can have skills with the ball too.

I don’t think the Grizzlies will recover either. If Ja Morant isn’t at 100% I don’t think they have a chance to beat the Warriors again in a single game. A shame because Ja Morant is something else. Love watching that kid fly through the air.

In the last 4 games, we saw how good both teams are playing on their home court, so in game 5, I think Suns will not waste that opportunity to go ahead in the series, because if they loss in game 5, it will be the Mavericks who will advance in the WCF, that's for sure. I'm a bit worried of what is happening as it could be like the Suns series in the NBA finals where they won the first 2 games and loss the succeeding 4.
They did give us good entertainment when it became 2-2 as I thought it will be a sweep after the Suns won 2 games.
Suns will sure play harder than their previous 2 games, but the same goes with the Mavs as they badly need that win to try and end it in their home.
Game 7 is not a good place to win as the crowd will be against them and it might impact the decision of the officials to be in favor of the Suns.
My wild imagination says Mavs will win Game 5 then the Suns win Game 6. How fun will that be and also unpredictable?  Cheesy

Congratulations to the JOKER!

Nuggets' Nikola Jokic wins NBA MVP award for second straight season, per report

Quote
Nikola Jokic has won the 2021-22 NBA MVP award, taking the league's top individual honor for the second consecutive year, per ESPN. Jokic's back-to-back MVP awards match the feat accomplished by fellow finalist Giannis Antetokounmpo during the 2018-19 and '19-20 seasons. The third finalist, Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid, has never won the award.

That was lacking in Game 1 and 2 for the Dallas Mavericks - adjustment of their role players to backup Luka.

And that was changed in Game 3 and 4 - Brunson, Bullock, Finney-Smith, Kleber, etc. Maintaining that game performance, they can beat the speculation of the majority that the Mavericks are nothing against the Phoenix Suns.

Mavericks all the way here! I hope they will upset the number 1 seed in the West. Game 5 will be deadly for them. I'm sure Phoenix Suns' Chris Paul will now wake up after 2 games of being off-night.
Luka changed his play style and that's it. Fewer dribbles, more on facilitating and dimes. They will win most of their games if all the Mavs wingmen receive the ball and generate a hot hand.
Finney-Smith and Bertans especially, have to gain confidence to shoot and it all happened today. Jason Kidd is doing good at rotating his players, and Mavs deep bench is being highlighted now with 6 players making double digits.

I remember Suns fans chanting "Suns in 4", lol, now the score is 2-2 wanted to see what will be their new slogan when the Suns play at home again.

Yes, game 5 will be critical, the Suns should take control of that game early and not allow Luka to feel comfortable. I have a feeling that Chris Paul might have another break out game, specially with how Mavs fans assaulted the mother and wife of CP3, he will definitely take revenge.

He should not let his emotion affect his game, he has to stay focused so they will be ahead in the series. It's a must win for them, they lose twice in a row already but they cannot give up, if they would give up easily, they dont' deserve to face the Warriors in the WCF.

Mavericks are very near winning the fourth game of the series right now. There is a big gap like more than ten points now. I wasn't expecting them to be this much dominant actually so I'm a little surprised. By this win, they will be making the score of the series 2-2. And this will be increasing the level of excitement for the series a lot. I still think that Suns are going to eliminate them but it doesn't seem like Mavericks will let it happen easily. It is a great joy to watch the rivalry like this.

Mavs is not letting Suns in fully dominate them, they fought back while playing at home, fan's influenced gives them that full confidence,

I am just confused with how the Mavs fans treating Suns players' relatives, how CP3's mother and wife has been harassed by the Mavs fans

Paul is very upset with how those people treat his family. Hope those kind of aggressions won't happen with Mav's relatives, stop this kind

of hate and let the entertainment brings the enjoyment to these series.

They need to steal the win in game 5 because it will be a huge upset for them to be trailing in this series because they are the number one seed in the western conference and that would be more frustrating when they lose @Game 6. Looks like they really find the right way to execute a strong strategy to win the game today and it seems like they won't be struggling in the next game.

Meanwhile, Embiid is showing his true skills by giving Miami Heat their hardest game ever in this second-round series.

Double double for Joel in this game, another super performance and now they are tied and they have a chance to upset the number 1 seed in the East if they continue to performance the way they did in game 3 and 4.

It seems that the Heat didn't make the right adjustment, Butler was amazing with his second 40 point performance, but Tyler Herro was just 11 points as they didn't get the needed help from others, Lowry just 6 points.
Miami needs productions from their other stars, even Bam and Jimmy will try lifting the team

it will be harder since the stars of Sixers are making the big damage, moving back home, coach Spo really needs to
to rotate and blend the right players inside the court, they need to work more to protect the home court advantage, else
Sixers may take this series away and advance to the ECF finals.
