This would be a first I’m hearing of Ja comparing himself to AI and Kobe, lol he’s insane for doing that. Even Michael Jordan doesn’t gloat like that even to this day. I think the kid has an insane amount of talent, obviously, but I think he needs to pump the breaks on the comparisons. Right now he’s more so like Derrick Rose in his prime rather than Kobe or AI.
That doesn't really seem like any downgrade neither. I get that Kobe and AI played amazingly, but Prime Rose was something out of this world too, maybe like one tick below prime Kobe and AI, but he was still a monster and he nearly took that Bulls team to championship all by himself if he stayed healthy.

I would say that he is more like young westbrook right now and nothing more. That is not bad neither, young westbrook was a monster too, but he wasn't a player that would carry a team to championship, he would just be in playoffs and that is what he is doing right now as well. I guess Ja will learn to be humble when he loses more often.

Great night for NBA basketball. 76ers vs Heat and Mavericks vs Suns. Both games are game 4 of the series and both matchups are tied 2-2 in a best of 7. Tonight we’ll see who is going to have their backs against the wall. The games are also being televised on TNT so Shaq, Ernie, Chuck, & Kenny will be around for the comedic relief during breaks. Personally I think the Suns have this in the bag and now that a few more days have passed I’m hoping Embiid can be healthy enough to carry the 76ers past the Heat. I thought for sure they were done once Embiid was injured, but he’s showing how much of a beast he is by coming back so quick.
I like it better at TNT, thank God they will do it there because unlike other channels, I don't see good analysis pre-game, halftime, and post game. They are also hilarious when they are fighting over their opinions especially Shaq and Chuck.  Grin

I think the Heat will win this one. Time to fight back at their home after losing 2 consecutive games. Identical with the Phoenix Suns which should now adjust better after 2 games of defeat. Bridges and Johnson will be their key to win if they can step up their game at a very high level.

Well, that's correct Ja is a good player, he is the future face of the NBA. However, at this early stage of his career he thinks highly of himself comparing himself to AI or Kobe. That's not mamba mentality right there, that's just pure arrogance. A player that good could've been a bit humble, calm, and composed at all times to achieve the best version of yourself.
Not the type of person who always find excuses because you lost.
Honestly, Memphis has already proved they could do better even without him.
Warriors is a more experienced team, and that's no excuse.
I can say that he is a little arrogant about claiming himself to Kobe and AI which is not good but I think he really has the skills in shooting and ball handling as well as ball handling. He is still young and still thinks high of himself I am not sure if this could change or not but I remember DRose being the youngest MVP and yet he is very humble up until now.

I can't say its arrogant approach but rather a good inspiration that he's trying to build, also NBA push him to be like that because their old superstar like Lebron,Curry and other more is getting age right now so they are seeking on replacement so that they can still hype up the league. The only problem of JA now is he need to win a championship and also MVP award so that he can justify his word and fans will not give any doubts on what he is saying.

It wasn't a complete off night for Warriors like I said but the game became closer than what it should have been because of their early poor shooting. Imagine if Ja was there capitalizing on every miss by GSW. We'll never really know but the series could have been 2-2 by now.

Let the guy say what he thinks he is like. It's not really a big issue and I'm pretty sure you've called yourself or some friends "MJ" or "Kobe" while playing in your neighborhood. That's not arrogance when you think you can play like them.

I don't think NBA forced or pushed him to be that kind of guy.

Al Horford had himself a game. 30 points for the old guy against an MVP in Giannis. On top of the Gianni’s had a bad shooting night but put up huge numbers himself. I didn’t expect the Celtics to win another game against the Bucks but they’re showing that they can compete. Horford and Taytum carried them tonight.

And it seems that the savvy veteran is bringing back his old self. There was one instance wherein he had a good dunk against Giannis. Back to back games for Al now that he had a good game against the Bucks.

No real surprise with the Warriors game. The Grizzlies put up a good fight without Ja Morant though. I didn’t expect that they’d keep the game so close.

No surprised but there are anxious moments that we might think that the Grizzlies can pull an upset because they lead most of the game. However, the Warriors didn't give up and make a great comeback and won and now they are up 3-1.

And speaking about DRose, Ja' should take care of himself and avoid the same fate as DRose, I mean the injury that the man suffers and

Being left by the team, he serves everything. Ja' should be more quiet and not drag anyone's name. Look how his team played and

learned how to use everyone and not to try lifting the entire team alone. If he can maximize all the talents behind him, they can be

a future NBA champ.

No real surprise with the Warriors game. The Grizzlies put up a good fight without Ja Morant though. I didn’t expect that they’d keep the game so close.

Ja Morant is good in inside and outside but Warriors are more experienced players with Green that is good in defensive and with Jordan Poole joining their offensive I think I wouldn't surprise anymore but I think this is a good experience for Ja Morant, we can't really deny that he is a good player.

I didn't expect the Grizzlies can keep the lead until almost the end of the game. They are good even without their leader and the skills of Adams and Jackson Jr. was highlighted today. Now a question clouds my mind. Why didn't they use Adams at the start of the series? Because as I watched it, it didn't seem like Adams is a weakness at all in the pace of the game. He actually became one of their strength in protecting the paint because Jordan Poole is hesitating to attack it unlike the previous games.

What a great play by the GSW they were trailing throughout the game and they managed to take the lead in the last minute of the game and finally win the game by successfully shooting all crucial free throws by Stephen Curry. The pressure is just way too hard for the Memphis and they don't have any player to match the quickness of Jordan Poole and Steph, I think they just can't do anything in the late game without Ja Morant who has the ability to run fast and convert more points in the paints, too bad he's out tonight.
And a veteran perspective. I think that made a huge difference in closing games.
Steph and Draymond Green shined at the last minute of the game using their veteran skills and the young guys of the Grizzlies are making bad decisions at every play. Brooks pushing Curry, and Jaren Jacson Jr. bad 3-point attempt with lots of seconds to spare. Even if Green did not challenge that shot, I doubt it will go in. Those types of shots are for heat checks and not for a winning shot or to tie a game.
Amazing come back from the Warriors who just gained the lead at the last minute. The only pair with 3-1.
Yeah, again as we have discussed Warriors are battle tested, they have that championship DNA that even if they are down double digits with 8 minutest to go, they still believed that they can win.

And they have Steph, clutch player, and the experience of Thompson, hitting 3 at the side and then Draymond's defensive gem against Jackson. I think this game has sealed the Warriors to win this series.

Just need to replace Ja's points.  Brooks needs to come back and have a great game here.  Still think they can win tonight.
That's the problem for the team that relied so much in a single player. Who is going to step up now? I also like this series to be tied but It would take a collective effort and an off night for Warrior's lethal shooters for the Grizz to win. The thing is we know GSW has many scorers so the odds are against the visiting team.

Grizzlies had a ton of players step up it wasn't all ja this season.  He just gets all the press.  When ja was out during the season Memphis still rolled teams

Correct, and for a Grizzlies fans, this is something that might play around their head in this series. Although this time, it is against a proven team, but who knows, maybe they can extend the series without Ja Morant.

Currently, in is a close game and they lead the whole of the first quarter and it seems that the Warriors are a bit nervous on this game. But we will see, usually Warriors jump on the 3rd quarter and hold that lead.

I think at one point both teams combined were 2 for 31 from 3 point land lol.  They both sucking it up right now.  Hope no one here has the over that's pretty much shot unless they get ruthless in the second half.  This game is literally either teams game to lose/win.

Yeah, Surprisingly Warriors has a slow start on this match despite they have the home court advantage and Grizzlies don't have Ja Morant to spearhead there team. But still this is too early to conclude that they are nervous since they all the advantage including the series lead so the pressure should be on Grizzlies right now fighting GSW against all odds. I hope this will result to a close match until the since Grizzlies always weaken there defense during the final quarter despite there early advantage that they get.

Man what a blow for the Memphis Grizzlies.. "I probably found out more about that today," power forward Jaren Jackson Jr. said about Morant's doubtful status entering Game 4 after the morning shootaround. "It's definitely sad. It's my boy so you don't want to see that. We are there for him. We know what he expects of us, just resiliency, that is what we expect of each other. So we are going to show that tonight and go out and compete like we know." https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/33888875/memphis-grizzlies-star-ja-morant-ruled-game-4-golden-state-warriors-due-knee-injury

Obviously they have absolutely no shot with out Ja.  This guy is just too fun to watch, most exciting player in the league in my eyes..at least at the moment.  Hopefully he can come back next game but seems like a stretch since he's not even able to play in tonight game.
