Anyone else also watching the Suns vs Mavs game!!?

I never imagined... the Mavericks would be giving so much "work" to the Suns!! Even Booker being on-fire isn't enough for the Suns to be superior to the Mavs!
It's been a competitive and interesting game to watch

That was crazy. Finney-Smith had himself a game. With Luka getting some offensive help and tying up the series, the pressure is on. I’m not exactly sure what went wrong for the Suns today but they had better be careful or they will find themselves with their back to the wall while one of the league’s best is trying to put them away. I didn’t think the Mavericks had a chance without Luka scoring 40, so Finney-Smith proved me wrong today. I’ll be keeping an eye on him during game 5. I hope the Suns defense will be as well.

Warriors losing GP2 meant the death of them defending against JA according to some, and look how the easy game was, even before Ja had to leave. I have to say that series is one of the easiest ones that I seen in the semi finals to be fair and they are going to be pretty great.

Those who said this are just pure hater of GSW though in my opinion. Even if the Warriors can't stop Ja, they still have the best 3, with Splash Brothers + Jordan Poole now, enough to offset what Ja can bring to the Memphis. And it seems that the experience Warriors are up to the task of Ja's superb athleticism and it seems they are challenge to what Ja can offer against them. But in the end, we all know what the made the Warriors a dynasty and they are showing in here and teaching the young Memphis.

It looks like the Warriors won't have to worry about stopping Ja Morant because there are already rumors that Morant might miss the next game due to a knee injury. Therefore if these rumors are really true, then Grizzlies most likely won't have a chance to win in Game 4, and it means that the outcome of this series will be predetermined.

Mavericks are very near winning the fourth game of the series right now. There is a big gap like more than ten points now. I wasn't expecting them to be this much dominant actually so I'm a little surprised. By this win, they will be making the score of the series 2-2. And this will be increasing the level of excitement for the series a lot. I still think that Suns are going to eliminate them but it doesn't seem like Mavericks will let it happen easily. It is a great joy to watch the rivalry like this.

Suns trying to catch up to the Mavs after trailing in the first half and managed to cut the lead to a single digit. Let's see what Booker could do in the fourth quarter. Not going to expect another huge fourth quarter from Paul because it's tough playing with 5 personal fouls already. Even McGee in foul trouble early in the fourth.

I am guessing that the best case we have right now is that Celtics and Bucks series goes to 7 games and we have a lot of games to watch and make it entertaining, don't care who wins in the end but I like to see those teams play a lot more since they are pretty close to each other. Miami doesn't seem to be a threat to Sixers if Embiid plays, and vice versa if Embiid is out, and Suns is just too good, so only close one is Celtics vs Bucks.

Yeah, almost a triple double performance for Giannis again, he knows that he will be double or even triple team that's why he look for the open man. Although there were instance that his pass was intercepted, but at least he prove clutch again. For sure Tatum will bounce back next game, he had a good series against the Nets and I said that he is a legit star now. So he has to adjust to the defense being put on him to score.
The other Celtics problem is the speed of the game. The Bucks are trying to always slow it down to avoid creating the momentum for the Celtics where they are used at. It's a nice strategy from their coaching staff. Take it slow, every second must be dried out while looking for an open man.

Philly against Heat later. A crucial game for the Heat to steal a game in the 76ers home. They are overflowing with confidence now with Embiid's return and they may want to stop that if they want to finish this in Miami. If not, it may go as far as Game 7.

Embiid is nowhere near 100%. Even if he does come back and play a lot of minutes, I’m not sure how much better an injured Embiid is then whoever they’d replace him with. I did want to see Wmbiid carry the Sixers to the Finals, but it would be a bit of a miracle story if he was able to do it now. I think the more likely outcome is that the Heat win this series and then lose to the Bucks. The Suns beat Dallas and then it’s up to the Warriors to keep the Finals from being a rematch of next year. With the way they’re playing, I think it’s pretty likely we see a Warriors/Bucks matchup, which if the Warriors were healthy we would have seen last year.

Worse game so far for Tatum, I'm not sure how they'll adjust that in game 4, if they can't then it' safe to assume that the series will be 3-1 going back to Celtics home court.
41 minutes, 10 points. Yes that's the worst of him. But I doubt it will be the same at Game 4. He may be watching the tape now with how much the defense was giving him trouble and how bad he played. These are mostly the problem with isolation plays. If they shut you down then what will be next?
A passing capability should be learned by Tatum but looking at stats he just made 3 assists which most likely says enough that he is not that type of a player. That must change.

Warriors destroyed Memphis in their home court with a huge win.
Ja Morant was again spectacular until he gets injured late in the 3rd if I'm not mistaken.
Warriors big 3 was big in this game, specially Klay who seems to bounce back from a bad performance in game 2.
If Ja Morant's injury is serious and chances are that he can't play in their next game, it will be hard to overcome the Warriors in their series.

He's spectacular, but he can't carry it alone. Just like Luka, he's facing a super team where every player

are willing to contribute. If there's no help from his teammates, it will be hard for Memphis to pass the Warriors, hope that
Injuries are not that critical to sit him in the remaining games in this series. Else, the campaign to go to the finals will end
competing with the Warriors.
I don't know about Warriors being a super team but I understand your point. Grizzlies are a young team and at least for me, they exceeded the expectation from them this season. But their future is bright. I think that they have a very good team spirit, which can change from year to year but if they continue with this mentality I believe they will be a top contender in the west.

On the other hand, Warriors scored too greatly. 142 points is huge. Warriors's big three did quite good in this game and Klay was Klay once again. Grizzlies may win another game in the series but it seems that most likely Warriors will advance and probably easily.

Both teams making the right adjustment, so let's expect that will happen in game 4 as that game is a very important game for the Celtics. However, if Tatum will improve and Brown will struggle, that would result to another lose, so both of them has to have a good performance in order for them to even the series.
That's correct. It only became a close game because of Al Horford's triple streak and Grant Williams' tenacity to get the offensive rebound. Then, the foul trouble of the Bucks lacking a deep bench. They are forced to make Giannis go back and forth on the bench to avoid being fouled out early.
This is not the Tatum we used to see and as I watched him carefully in the replay, he is hesitating, like lost his confidence to shoot or make something happen.
That's not how superstars work, even at their worst field goal percentage they should try to create openings for themselves.

We should give credit to the Bucks defense early on him, that's why he is hesitating somewhat. But I don't think the series is over, we saw that Boston is still capable of making a comeback in this game. Although they are down like 5-7 points, it was quickly erase and even take  brief lead. So yes, the adjustment is on the Celtics now

There's still game 4, Celtics can try to even the series, and if they succeeded, the advantage will be in their possession as they have 2 home court games. Game 4 is not only important for the Celtics, it's also important for the Bucks to increase their chance of winning in the series.

Credits to Matthews great defense on Tatum, he is an underrated defender and he did his job well against Tatum that game. Giannis is still unstoppable, as long as they cannot stop Giannis, Bucks always have a chance of winning the game because not only does Giannis score, he also makes his teammates better as they are just waiting for the pass and take that open shots.

The Greek Freak did it again. 42 points 12 rebounds 8 assists. Great performance and becoming more of a facilitator. The Celtics did gave him a hard time to attack the paint by aiming for an offensive foul whenever he runs wild but it didn't stop him by using spin moves to create space and using his strong upper body to force his way in.
Shutting down Tatum was the first priority then everything goes their way. Good game and the ending was a bit dramatic.  Cheesy

That's a great player, and his FG percentage has also increase, so you can tell that he is consistent in the series.
No one from the Celtics could stop him, he will dominate and that's the major advantage of Giannis even without his buddy Middleton.

Grizzlies were able to fight back only in the first quarter of the game. After that, there was a total demolition by Warriors. I was contented with seeing one thing especially that the biggest trio at Warriors played very good. I mean Curry, Thompson and Poole. It is very important for Warriors to have a satisfying contribution by these three guards. They all played with 20+ points and played a huge role in this very comfortable win by 142-112. For Grizzlies, Morant played awesome again but the rest of the team couldn't contribute much. Morant scored 34 pts and he was the most scorer of the game too.
