It looks like Spurs is getting good at blowing their opponents early and maintain their lead towards the end of the game. They do not have a superstar in their team but they can get the job done even against the top teams in the league. If this young team can make it to the playoffs, they will give their opponents a tough time.
Unexpectedly, Spurs made a good play against the tough Nuggets, they were leading the scores in all of 4 quarters in the play that results to 12 score difference (123-111) and now they are placed in the 12th spot in Western Conference. It seems they can manage it well and made a good chemistry with other players that's why they are moving in an orderly manner to defeat against tougher teams.
Well see if they can still keep their records and plays tomorrow.

I was really amused about the Memphis - Lakers game last night. Lebron, Westbrook and Davis all were playing in this game but they still lost to Memphis by 108-95. The reason why especially was that Westbrook performed really bad. He was able to score only 9 points in 33 minutes. He got a 3/9 FG made. He missed many shots as he was not in fine feather.

A bad night after a good night. Westbrook seems inconsistent but at least he's trying to catch up. They should win against a handicapped Memphis but lack of fuel to boost their performance. Time to move on and hope for the best next game for the Lakers. A good win for those who bet against them making it worth it to bet o continue betting against them if they are the Favorites.

They are up against Oklahoma City Thunders and Orlando Magic for their next 2 games and it seems they will be tagged again as the Favorite.

Yeah, after a good win in their previous game, now they've suffered another loss against the Memphis.

Too bad the Lakers are really good at being inconsistent, James missing a 3 that will close the gap in the fourth and you can see the frustration on him after he missed that shot. He even goes early to the locker room without waiting for the actual buzzer. Not a good sign if we see him like this in a losing game.

Agreed, that is absolutely not a good sign and it can easily be said that frustration got him. I think that he would not have been frustrated if we could all say that it was a really good match but no one can say 'good game' after watching that match. Wall can be said is a 'good win' for or the grizzlies. The Lakers really performed below per by their standards. I just follow the odds in this game and it just sucked me.

There's always a criticism if the Lakers lose but only few recognition when they are winning. I think the Lakers should take it personally, I mean they should work on their chemistry so they would work as a team in the ring. After an impressive win against Boston, now we see them struggle again.

Lakers got two losses in their last three games. However, the losses were against really difficult teams. Hence, people shouldn't blame Lakers too much just for that. But of course, it would be better for their own benefit to play more consistently. Especially the trio in this team should perform consistently to achieve good results most of the time. They have the capacity to do that in the end.

They lose against the Clippers and Memphis, I think the Clippers and Grizzlies are not really a strong team or a stronger team than them as they are in the top 3 teams in the NBA prior to the season being opened Their struggle is still very evident, they are very inconsistent and they haven't built their chemistry yet.

In the loss against Memphis, Westbrook only made 9 points.  Sad

Rumors about the possibility of trading Kemba Walker from New York to Denver Nuggets might now be on work. Kemba Walker is not on his usual average now which resulted in him being out of rotation in the New York Knicks but maybe he can give a little boost on the Denver Nuggets.
Never heard that until now. Thank you for the gossip.  Cheesy
But I sniffed this one so I think there is a possibility for it.
Quote
"I have great respect for who Kemba is as a person number one and all that he's accomplished in this league, but I have to do what I think is best for the team" - Tom Thibodeau
This is regarding the new rotation of the Knicks that will take Kemba off. Ouch!
https://twitter.com/sny_knicks/status/1465386196608163843?s=20

If, just if, Kemba suddenly landed in the Nuggets team I am sure it will be a big boost. All they need are shooters. Gordon is not good at it. Other bench players are night in and out with their outside shots. Someone that will concentrate on outside shots will be a big addition for them.

They were just struggling and letting Memphis get some easy basket by not working in defence like they were before versus the Boston. They were seriously pissed off and discourage about the game last night because just before the game ended, Lebron quickly walk to the locker room without even shaking some hands from any of the players in Memphis. I think this is their 3rd straight loss to Memphis and every time they've lost, the fans make fun of them on social media. They need to do better on their next game though because people opinions bothered them the most if they slack again and let some team like Memphis beat them easily.

For me, it was really bad to see the people's reaction and I was amazed at how people reacted to this loss. And I think that people are really demoralizing the players with their trash talk. And I don't blame LeBron James for the way he acted after the match. Yes, he is a great player but frustration can get to him too.
BTW, I had a small bet on this match but lost as well.
Already I've placed another bet on tomorrow's "Oklahoma City Thunder vs Los Angeles Lakers" match, hope to win tomorrow.

First, James is not an accurate 3 point shooter. 2nd, James is known to have that kind of attitude, remember in the last playoffs when his team was down big time, he exit early and never came back on the court, he easily gets disappointed and I'm afraid he is blaming someone when he is in that mode.

Lebron James with his 100th triple-double despite losing against the Grizzlies. Congratulations to him and is now listed on the top 5 of the franchise joining Jason Kidd, Magic, Robertson, and of course the top 1, his teammate, Russell Westbrook with 189 triple-doubles already. If he will have more years to play he might even pass Kidd at 4th place with 107 or better Magic @138.
I think he can surpass Kidd at fourth place in terms of triple-doubles. 7 triple doubles is still achievable knowing he is LeBron Smiley.
They lost still to the Ja Morant-less Grizzlies and they won 4 of their last 5 games without him. It seems like they are playing better with Morant out didn't they? Hmmmmm. Anyway, their next game is against the Rockets who is on a 7 winning streak and they also defeated the Nets on their last game. Grizzlies or Rockets? Cheesy.

Nikola Jokic also registered another triple-double in 3 consecutive games. He is back on his MVP caliber type of game but it's not enough to give them a win. Someone in that Nuggets team needs to step up his game or they will be doomed trying to reach a playoff spot. They are now at 7th seed and it's not safe there.
The Nuggets don't have Murray and Michael Porter Jr. because of injuries.
Well, it seems like Jokic is having a hard time carrying the team himself and we can see how impactful Murray and Porter is with the team. I think the problem with the Nuggets right now is their bench. As I'm looking at their roster, it seems that they don't have any reliable bench player unlike other teams. Like you said, I think that somebody in the Nuggets needs to step up if they want to enter the playoffs and at a higher spot because 7th spot isn't a safe spot.

Agree with. Nikola Jokic is almost having the same journey now as Damian Lillard. They can literally carry a team but not enough providing the tough competition in the Western conference as they need someone to step up. Those talents are wasted for me if their respective franchise will do nothing in the long run.

Rumors about the possibility of trading Kemba Walker from New York to Denver Nuggets might now be on work. Kemba Walker is not on his usual average now which resulted in him being out of rotation in the New York Knicks but maybe he can give a little boost on the Denver Nuggets.

Lebron and Westbrook are putting up great numbers but they are not translating to wins, which is what matters.

Jokic is putting up historical numbers but doesn't seem to get love as the MVP candidate because of their lower seed situation.

I really think that Denver can make a push to home court in the playoffs this season despite a rocky start if Jokic keeps this up.

I like the fact that Kemba isn't disgruntled at least publicly unlike some other stars.

He has mentioned that he wants to set an example for other players in the league that came after him, and that is very noble.

Certain players like Ben Simmons have to learn from him. Even though Kemba is an all-star, he understands that the NBA is a business.

Yeah that uConn team was sick, nobody could stop him.  Was hoping a return back to msg would reliant it for him.  Season is young and thibs is tactical so there could be another thing at play.  Maybe pumping up the value on another guard.  Kba didn't play bad from the jump it was the last couple games he played where he struggled. Was always a fan hopefully he puts it together.
Kemba has scored an average of 11 points per game this season. So he definitely plays worse than last season. Nevertheless, I think taking him out of the rotation was the wrong decision by the coach. It looks like the Knicks lost 4 out of 6 games after Kemba was out of the rotation, and it's funny because Thibodeau said, "I do what I think is best for the team."

Still, I can't believe that the Rockets defeated the Nets by 10 points. I mean yes Durant didn't play at that game and yes we can say that Harden played on that game as well but we already saw how Harden is playing right now. He is kinda struggling for me and his numbers are obviously lower than his stats years ago. He really is affected by the changing rules that he is having a hard time to it. He had 25 points and almost a triple double but see his FG and 3PT percentages. Both at 25% and if you will ask other players, this is unacceptable and consider a bad night still.

Not only Harden who has been struggling lately, there were a couple superstars more who also been struggling since the start of the season.
AD has not been doing well for the Lakers, his shooting average is in a worse figure throughout his career.
Jason Tatum was also struggling early this season as he also averaged 39% fgm. at some point.
And the worse case is for Kemba Walker who has been out of the rotation.
In James Harden's case, I can also say that he's really been heavily affected by the new rules, because that's what he usually do.

Yeah looks like kemba's time with the Knicks is going to end as quick as it started lol.  Something more has to be going on with him or maybe thibs just likes the younger guys and want to open a rotation spot.  Either way 2 years for 20 mil, they need to figure a way to get kemba minutes in which he can positively contribute.

His struggle continues and I'm not happy after seeing this article as we might see another NBA player with uncertain future in the NBA.

Knicks’ Kemba Walker sells Massachusetts mansion amid career struggle

Quote
Only two years after purchasing a one-and-a-half acre lot to build a sprawling 9,500-square-foot home, former Boston Celtics point guard Kemba Walker has sold his Massachusetts estate in an off-market deal.

The move comes after Walker, who grew up in the Bronx, joined the New York Knicks in August. But his recent benching on the team, and removal from the Knicks rotation in favor of Alec Burks, put his future with the NBA in question.

It seemed odd that Charlotte was willing to let him walk a few years ago.  I guess we can see now that they saw the decline happening and chose to stay ahead of it by moving on to a younger and larger PG.  It's shocking how fast Kemba went from a killer to nobody wanting him.  He's got to be going through some things right now.  It's clear he's going to be traded at the first opportunity so selling his mansion now before the market crashes (high end real estate market is already seeing closings down 20% from asking price) is probably a wise move for a guy quickly approaching retirement.  Best of luck to Kemba whatever happens.  He was an absolute monster in college.
