Golden State Warriors vs Portland Trail Blazers game was also a nice one. Since Lillard got injured, Portland haven't been performing very good. And we understand this from their current form as their losing streak has increased to 4 games by this one. GSW destroyed them by 104-94 even though Curry didn't play that much impressive. But I guess there are not too many people who are surprised by this result.

The most attracting game for me tonight is Miami Heat vs Milwaukee Bucks now. There is not much time left for the game to start. And I see that there are some important missing players at Heat. We will see if this will affect them very badly. Bucks are only one position ahead of Heat now in the Eastern Conference. Comparing their forms, Bucks are in a more stable condition. They won 4 of their last 5 games and Heat were able to win only one. And Bucks were overwhelming against Heat in most of their last head-to-heads. I think Bucks can get another win here.
The Buck will dominate against the shorthanded Heat and that' easy to see unless Herro and Lowry score 40+ points. Spoelstra insists that they have enough players who can win which is a good thing to say to motivate his players. I doubt he's 100% convince with that.

Probably another 120+ points for the Bucks.

We were waiting for that to happen but it turns out that Heat destroyed them by 113-104. But I believe that the main reason for it is that Giannis didn't play very good this time. Even though he played for 32 minutes, Giannis got only 15 points. J. Holiday (27 pts) and Middleton (20 pts) tried to carry the team but it was not enough for a win. After losing two times in a row, Heat finally got a nice win.

Yeah, I thought that the Bucks are going to win in this game, unfortunately, Giannis is still not 100% in this game because it is very unusual for him to just score 15 points and without the big man Bam in the middle to contest his shot.

The other games, GSW vs Portland, it was expected that GSW will have a blow out win against a Lilliard and CJ less Portland, but they have a bad shooting night specially in the first quarter as they've missed clean look at the 3. Not enough to cover the spread, they just won 10 points. I even have them at least -11.5 but still not enough to cover that.

^^ But still we should give credit to Houston, they have the longest streak now in the West with 7 wins, followed by the Jazz with 5.

The Nets though started lackluster here and allowed the Rockets to build a solid lead and although they've comeback and cut the lead to single digits, they were able to sustain that lead. 6 Players scoring double digit? that is a balance attack from them and then 8, 6, 6 for the next three players so that is huge contribution everywhere.

The Houston Rockets just beat the Brooklyn Nets today 104-114, that team is the number 1 seed in the eastern conference. Man! this team is starting to get on their rhythms, you won't see such things happening in an NBA season more often and they are now on their 7th straight win. They were the last team last month and they were struggling too much to get a single win after losing almost every game and now they are rallying to get to the top 10 just a few more wins to go.

Because there are no KD in the Nets and I would say it increases there chances of winning.

But they are really doing good, maybe the chemistry are already there and they find the perfect pieces now. Unlike in the beginning that they are losing big margins, now they are very competitive, and kudos to the coaching staff for making a turnaround.

So I wouldn't be surprised if they are the dark house in the West and beat highly qualified team if they make it to the playoffs.

I was also amazed by their performance.

last time they've been questioning if they can continue the rally since the last 6 straight wins are not
a super-team types of opponents, but boy' they now beat the top seeder from the east side,

Though that's a KD less squad, but Harden was there and the supporting players are capable of competing. It's interesting no betting with Houston, handicap for them would be nice next target.

The rockets are supposed to be tanking this year. I’m not sure what’s going on. This is a situation where better might really be worse. Come draft time, they may wish this winning streak never happened. I am shocked they’re managing to put up wins with an all but forgotten roster.
They are tanking but not to the point that they will let all of their games lose.
I think that they will still show their 100% performance in all of their games but TBH, I'm a bit shocked with how they are playing with their last games. They are on a winning streak after having a losing streak. We might say that the Nets didn't have KD but still, a loss is a loss. After all, I don't expect the Rockets to enter the playoffs still since they are tanking.

Hornets vs Philly turns out to be another close one. Last time this two teams met, it went into OT and Sixers edging out the Hornets in their home court.

Now it's on the Hornets turf, and the game is tie 95-95 although Joel will have to shoot 2 FT.

I will not be surprised if the game goes into OT and I put a small live bet on it, odds are 5.xx. So let's see, both teams are really very tough and not giving each other breathing room. Boils down to the coach and how he moves his pieces in the last 3 minutes.

Cavaliers showing the Bulls what it means to be a team right now hehe. They already have eight players on the scoreboard while their opponent has only five.

...

Still very close game as of now, but I'm expecting the Bucks to pull off in the 3rd quarter, which they usually does.
Yes that's what I'm expecting also.

Kudos to Caleb Martin for stepping up for Miami. I looked at his stats and he only averages 6.7 PPG but he's already in double figures. Spoelstra must be happy with this. It's what you like to see when your main guys are out injured.

A possible 3 games losing streak for the Miami Heat.

Even Tyler Herro and Kyle Lowry will have good production, it's not enough to battle the healthy Milwaukee Bucks even Giannis just recovered from an injury.

Miami Heat's injured players are Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Markieff Morris, and Victor Oladipo. That was deep. That really hurts their offensive power.

Giannis on a limited minute, but we all know that once he heated up, it's hard to stop him in the paint. Specially that there are no Bam in the middle, Giannis can tear Dedmon in the middle and abuse him.

So I agree that the Bucks are going to win this game eventually.

Tonight, I'm expecting to see Bucks tearing Heat apart in this away game. Maybe it is going to be a win by a close gap or a big one but I think we will see Bucks winning this game. Giannis can carry his team again by scoring around 40 points I think. He is the most valuable player of this team and his consistency just impresses me a lot. He is a very special player surely.

Bucks in play offs is different from a Bucks from regular season and I also doubt that Chicago bulls will defeat them if they are lucky to face in playoffs knowing how hard working Giannis is and he is always been pumped up on every game, we see that on last finals series so for sure we can also see that to happen since that's his normal game in their crucial games. But lets still see since a will balance team with good ball rotation plus luck maybe can give them a win.

I'm also impressed at how Chicago Bulls is playing and showing right now this season but if the topic is about Bucks vs Bulls in a playoffs series match, I will still pick the Milwaukee Bucks. There's no one from the Bulls that can stop Giannis when goes on a rampage. However, if Bulls can make a way to slow him down like what 2019 Raptors did when they beat the Bucks in the playoffs, the Bulls have a chance to win on that series.

That was all speculation though. We are just referring to past games but who knows Bulls make a way to pass Bucks if ever they will meet in the playoffs.

Milwaukee Bucks is still so strong this season, for sure and I have no doubts that they will still be at the Finals.
The Bucks look good, and they are in the third spot in the Eastern Conference standings at the moment. However, I wouldn't be so sure that they will be able to reach the final series. I mean, there may be very strong competition in the Eastern Conference, considering that teams like the Nets, Bulls, Heat are also playing well this season.

Still boils down on Giannis I believed, if he can produce MVP numbers this season, which he does, and remain consistent then I don't doubt that they can enter the finals.

Remember that they are the defending champs, Bucks are almost intact from last year (minus Tucker).

And if they can maintain their spot, enter the playoffs then they have a good chance to enter the ECF and maybe beat the highly touted Nets again or the new team of the Bulls.

That's going to be a big challenge for them since they are the defending champ. They are not even all healthy yet but they are doing pretty well already, though the Bulls are playing well this season, I still doubt they'll beat the Bucks in the playoffs, and even the Nets if Irving won't be able to come back.

Blazers are expected to continue struggling as CJ McCollum suffered a lung injury. Recent reports suggests that it's not as serious as what was initially feared but he'll still be out for a few weeks to recover and get back in shape. Bad timing for Blazers management who might be thinking of trading him for Ben Simmons.

You are right. It seems impossible to think that the Sixers will just trade Ben Simmons without something valuable in return. Sixers think that Simmons can't be dealt with just receiving several future 1st round picks. It should include a good player and the closest candidate is CJ McCollum as we know it's not Lillard.

With what happened to CJ recently, let's see if the wind will now be changed and Blazers will now be out of the next possible teams that Simmons will go in.
