AEG (the owner of Staples center) and crypto.com announced a huge deal. The crypto exchange paid more than $700 mln for naming rights for the next 20 years. It means that the legendary home arena of the Lakers and Clippers will be renamed in Crypto.com arena, and the debut of the new logo is scheduled for December 25.

That's right, I first read the announcement in here.

$700 million is a huge amount of money, it's a big investment for crypto.com and probably that's the reason why the coin is up now while majority of altcoins have dumped. https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/crypto-com-coin/

Great news for crypto and for NBA, they both win in this contract and it will spread awareness for the NBA fans.

If they'll meet in the NBA Finals, then we already have an idea that the Warriors has a good chance of winning even if the Nets are the heavy favorites now to win the championship.
Hmmmm that's an interesting match up but tbh with just under 20 games and teams are still getting started that still an understatement. Good thing if they do match up at the Finals but still doubting both teams to even make it though, but same as you I'd bet on the Warriors, they're that explosive
I can't conclude yet because it's only their first encounter in the season and games in the playoffs are quite different compared to the regular season. Warriors do have some struggle as well, they are not a perfect team although they are the number 1 team in the West now.

......and who knows Thompson is already playing its best aagin when that day comes.
Not sure about this yet, though we are hype a bit on the return of Klay Thompson but we have not seen him play yet, so we could not make a conclusion whether he is healthy or not.

Not only coach Nash, Kerr also knows Durant very well as he coach him before so he was able to do the right strategy to limit him.
Gonna agree with that, Kerr is a great coach, he already won multiple championships while Nash has not proven anything yet in the NBA as a coach.
Last season they lose against the Bucks but that's understandable because Kyrie was injured and Harden is not 100%.

But this season, both star players are healthy and yet they cannot take down the Warriors.
I would say it's a fair match as Warriors missed Thompson while Nets missed Kyrie, but Warriors was the better team at that game.

This is their first encounter but most likely Nets will not struggle next time as they already saw the play design against them and they'll certainly make an adjustment to beat the Warriors.

Didn't expect a blowout win for GSW, Curry showed his superiority against the best team in the East, he made 9/14 from beyond the arc and that's very impressive, there's should be no debate on who is the greatest shooter now, Curry is just on a different level this season.

Better luck next time Nets, bounce back if you ever meet again this season.
Not even a fighting chance. I thought it was going to be a close game because Durant can answer Curry's madness in the 3 point line if ever he will.
But my expectation was not met and KD had a bad game 6/19 FG and 2/6 outside shots. That's a bad off night game for him.
Although, it's not just the difference between the 2 team. It's also the plays made by the Warriors that is difficult to stop.
A well written play from the old playbook of Steve Kerr but Steve Nash seems to have a hard time stopping it. Congratulations to the Warriors team.
He has a horrendous shooting night, but we should give credit to the defense of Golden State. They really scout him and the play that Nash has for him, so they are ready to trap him as far as the three point area. So it's either he gave up the ball, or has an unforced error, or shot the ball badly.

So for now, we could say that Steve Kerr has Nash's number, and the GSW really perform very well in this game as it wanting to proved that their lost was just a fluke against the Hornets.

I love that guy (Payton). Even Poole is the one who really helping Curry and Wiggins in their offense, but that guy hyping the energy
of everyone, even those who still on the bench are always waiting for him to do his dunk.

That is the definition of "like father like son".
Gary Payton sr. was an excellent defender and a good scorer as well. Not to mention his fancy passes.
While Gary Payton jr have possessed a very similar skills like his dad, but the difference is Payton Jr. has an electrifying dunks, one of the best high flyers of today's NBA era. He's a potential slamdunk competition candidate.
His defensive presence is very vital for the GSW team today. It seems like every piece of the GSW roster perfectly compliments to each other, thus making them a difficult team to beat.

Yeah, he really got his father's DNA, hopefully though, it's not the swag and the trash talk, but the skills and his excellent skills as a defender. The different though is that Jr, has bounce, he can dunk over anyone if given the chance.

But he is being utilised for his defensive skills, but he is lefty and that's what makes him really unpredictable. Hopefully, he can stay in the league and has found his home in GSW.

Maybe they really prepared for this one, specially on how they are going to contained Durant and James Harden. And Steph bounce back from a dismal performance last game.

So it was indeed a very impressive GSW that shows today. And the usual team, scoring the bulk in the 3rd quarter wherein they put the separation and never look back. It was a total team effort, as everyone looks to play defense.

I just noticed the fans behind GSW's bench each time Curry's throwing the ball, that kind of reactions is very insulting for the Nets.

They are cheering for GSW and enjoying how Curry's cooking the Nets in front of their own crowd, just like seeing Dubnation in another
home court, we can't deny how good GSW right now, they are really showing big improvements.

in the next few weeks Klay may play and for sure it will add more firepower and defensive stop..
We saw a glimpse of a possible NBA Finals out there and obviously we know who will win between the two of them Tongue. Kidding Cheesy.

Well, the years that the Warriors spent tanking and getting some good picks in the draft paid off. They got good picks (Wiseman, Kuminga and Moody) and they got some underrated players as well that can adopt the system of Coach Kerr. Players like Porter, Bjelica, Iggy are players who are playing very well with the team but they are underrated players. The good thing about the management is that they know how to pick players that can adopt to how the Warriors are playing. Just see their roster and most if not all of them can shoot threes plus they have a player who have one highlight dunk per game (Payton).

Take note that the Warriors' roster aren't playing yet. What if Klay and Wiseman comes back Cheesy.

Nice newly formed squad with the same core, Green, Iggy, Steph, Klay when he returned and Looney.

With all those added spices, GSW is really doing everything to keep impressing the Fans.

That was not a possible NBA Finals, maybe GSW will advance but the way the Nets played, I don't think they'll even win in the ECF. I have a feeling that Bucks will once again advance in the NBA Finals and I just hope that against a different opponent, probably the GSW as it's more interesting.

It's a blowout win for the GSW against the Nets where they managed to stretch up the lead until the late minutes of the 4th quarter. As days pass by, we will see more on the GSW as one of their best players "Klay Thompson" is about to enter the court to play again a few weeks from now. Looks like they will be back to dominate the entire league once again by beating these best teams in the NBA.

Yes, there are news that Klay might be back soon so that makes the GSW team a complete roster again.

One thing that I would like to comment though, for me they seems to be lacking someone in the middle. Some of the best team in the West and East have good big guys, so maybe that's one thing that GSW will have to work very hard. Looney is there, but I would say that he will have a hard time let's say playing against the likes of Anthony Davis and Jokic or even Joel Embiid.

Maybe we will see another winning streak starting today with a big statement win against the Nets. They manage to really shutdown two of the best scorers in the game right now, Durant and Harden. Good defence by Lee and Payton Jr, specially Payton Jr, for sure we might see this kid getting defensive player of the year because of his quick hands, just like his pop.

Everyone is really exciting to see Klay Thompson back, again it will be a dangerous and scary GSW tea once the other half of the Splash brothers comes back.

This is the classic GSW that I love before they become champion. There 3s are very deadly with 2 different players are capable so it's hard to focus defense on it. I hope Klay condition is now good so that Steph can now have a good rest in every quarter. This is the current weakness of GSW, Once Curry is already showing fatigue on second quarter, they are easy to beat since they don't have any answer anymore on points given by the opponent team.

Looney must improve too and boost his mobility. He is very slow that's why he can't defend on strong forward player like Giannis and Embiid.

They are definately in the top tier.  I was definately on the side that Zach lavine can't make it in the NBA early in his career.  I just thought he was an athletic dunker.  Dude has serious game and I got crazy respect for him.  He can wreck games. He is definately a 1.  And with ball derozen, big man who can stretch the floor and decent bodies off the bench it's not gonna fizzle.  They were never picked to be 1/2 in the East.  They will compete for 1/2 all year and probably slide into the 3-6 seeds in the division which is nothing to scoff at.
Right. He is on a different level now thanks to the Bulls management doing the trades to surround him with good players.
I think just the addition of Lonzo Ball is already a big impact for him. He never had a good pointguard to back him up and preserve his strength for other purposes before but instead, he was always exhausted doing it all. Now, he can focus on his shooting and maybe some attack to the rim and moving without the ball and aggressive offensively.
The 3rd-6th seed will definitely be an easy task for them.

No doubt, with how well they are performing right now, 3-6 seed is very doable. I like the way they played, sharing the ball well

and rotating to expose the open lane, Zach and DeRozan are very flexible. They can shoot outside but they also have the power to attack you inside,

Bulls hopefully will continue to stay fit and healthy, just don't want to see them breaking again the same way the management did to DRose, moving on

Let's enjoy how the troop entertains us.. Wink
