Everyone was worried when Stephen Curry hurts his shoulder slightly but with a little rest, he sank some threes again and got some sweet 16 points in the first quarter. Also Trae Young is on fire with 13 points. This is the game I would like to watch and I'm sure that this game has lots of audiences today compared to the other games. GSW still trailing but they still manage to minimize it to a single digit. I hope Steph doesn't overdo his shoulder as everyone expected to see him play with Klay next month.

It's done, GSW blew the Hawks in the 3rd quarter and it was enough to give them a good lead.

And Steph finished with 50 big points, to carry the Warriors in this win. Trae Young wasn't able to sustain his run though, it seems that he is very much affected by the new rule as he can't get enough free throws now. While Steph was really hot in the three point are going 9 out of 18.

And this is his 10th career 50 point game.
At one point, the Hawks lead by double digits but the lead just disappeared when the Warriors got their momentum.
Here comes the 3rd Quarter dominance by the Warriors again. They outscored the Hawks in the 3rd Quarter 41-20 and the Hawks can't come close.

The 50 point 10 assist game by Steph Curry is written in the history books as he is the oldest player to do that. It just shows that he still have the touches and he can still be like the Steph that we used to see many years ago when they are dominating the league for many years.

I also saw one video on youtube regarding the salty commentators. I mean seeing Steph scoring 50 points is already common but to say some salty comments on live. Cheesy Kinda disappointing.
Anyway, here is the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dl4R6C4-UjA

I was amazed that he scored 50 points but I'm not surprised. I didn't see the game but I know that the Lakers came back from a heavy deficit as I was watching the scorecards doing some live betting. This is so great for the Warriors, their streak continues and this win is really huge for Curry and the team.

In my opinion, I believe the Lakers need to "wake up ASAP".
Of course it's the start of the season, but LA can't be in the 6th to 8th place of their conference, as they could get a hard time that ranked 1st, 2nd or even 3rd place.

I don’t think they’re too worried about what seed they get in the playoffs. They are going to need to play better if they want to actually win in the post season though. There has been one bright spot. Carmelo Anthony. People weren’t sure if he could play in the NBA 2 years ago and now he’s the best scorer on the favorite to win the west. If they can get figure out how to fit Westbrook into the offense I think they’ll be ok.

I'm surprised that you are this surprised since it's easy to see even before the season started that they could struggle. Take a look at who they removed and recruited.

Because they are still on adjustment period and basketball is supposed to be play by teamwork not by bunch of players that competing each other within there teammates just to show off. I mean Melo and Westbrook are both good players individually but we know that both of them is craving to get the spotlight and they are just forced to adjust there game style just to sync on a team. Only LBJ can work this roster since he is the leader. Without him, This team will surely suffer because most of there players has been an All Star so they usually follow there own individual decision that they think better to win the match even though they are not synchronised.

Hmm, well, looking at it this way, this is more likely to happen.

I believe that LeBron James should organize the time and do everything for players to interact and have chemistry with each other.
I think before Melo and Westbrook moved to the Lakers, practically "all" the players, staff and team management knew that something related to ego fighting and players wanting to be the star of the time could happen.

In my opinion, I believe the Lakers need to "wake up ASAP".

Looks like the Lakers are already exploring changes on their team after the slow start...  Rumors for the day have it looking as if they are on the hunt for a new head coach.  However, the fanbase on social media is being pretty loud that they don't think the head coach is the problem.  Lakers fans are starting to make a case that Russell Westbrook should be traded in order to fix the problems on the team.  Russell's contract likely keeps that from being a possibility, and the Lakers first approach Dame to see if he'd join the team, so unless Dame has had a change of heart and the Blazers are looking to bite the bullet to help him get where he wants to be, I think we'll be seeing Russell in a Lakers uniform possibly next year as well...  Personally, I think they'll get it figured out.  Carmelo is playing better than expected and Nunn hasn't even played yet while LeBron and AD have both been having the usual injury issues...
Bro, Lakers management is going too far if they will fire Coach Frank Vogel. He just gave them a championship and I think they already forgot about it.
It's not the coach obviously, don't they even watch the game. All those broken plays, being careless with the ball, and the shooting percentage going down.
They should better trade someone for roleplayers and give Dwight Howard a team of 2nd stringers. They will see a lot of change when that happens.
It's all their fault in the first place for messing the roster, taking out 9 players in exchange for veteran superstars. But they still want to pin it down with the coach. Wow!

The Lakers roster in general is the problem. Not only Westbrook, but the whole team is the problem.
There's a point that they're too lazy on the defense and sometimes too comfortable with their lead and their offense.
I don't see any team efforts for the Lakers.
Infact, I can't even remember how the Lakers were playing a good game. All of the games they completed, they struggle a lot whether they loss or win the game.

I don't know but the last time a team perform very well with Russell on the line-up was when he's in OKC with Harden and Durant.

New York Knicks taking advantage of Joel not playing (I was just surprised to watch the game with no Joel).

Only 14 points though, 44-58. But Joel is a part part of this team's offense and specially in defense wherein the Knicks are penetrating and scoring very easy. Biggest lead by the Knicks is 19, so it's going to be an interesting game going into the 3rd quarter. They have to cut the lead to make the game more exciting for us.

For MVP candidate, never miss Caruso LOL! Well, tbh I guess on the likes of Durant, Jokic, Giannis, Curry, are in that race.

IMO, Durant should be in the top 1 now being a contender in the MVP race, he is very efficient and he can make at least 30 points per game without a problem. Giannis and Jokic, they are not so consistent yet, their teams struggles a bit but Durant keeps winning for his team and getting good numbers.

Yeah, who wouldn't missed Durant in the top 3 of the MVP race for this year? I don't think that Jokic can do back to back, his Denver Nuggets is not the same as last year.

Durant is always on the MVP list but always got short at the end. It's more advantageous to the players that own the offensive goals of their team. Since Durant has Harden, they are both sharing the field goals. Steph Curry is also one of the best candidates as he has the most shots on his team.

Joel Embiid is also always on the list but ends up on 3rd or 4th. I'm not a Sixers fan but maybe his effort should be rewarded too and someday he will be a Season MVP. He can carry the Sixers even without All-Star teammates.

The Nets have adjusted without Kyrie, and I read that Kyrie is included in the All Star ballot for this year and if he is included, maybe that's that only time we will see him play. Anyhow, as I have said, without Kyrie, Durant and Harden are taking over for the Nets. There is no more the question of chemistry between the two, they can co-exist.

Actually, the Nets are already adjusted. They can play better without Kyrie. Good thing that Durant and Harden are playing well and I think if Kyrie is there, it will ruin the lineup. Just unfortunate that after Brooklyn Nets do everything and spend more to get to the current roster, Kyrie is not returning the favor. Maybe we should forget Kyrie now as his drama might take for long. Cheesy

Lakers management blaming the coach for assembling a team that are expected to struggle at the start of the season? Sounds about right hehehe. They should probably start looking at themselves. Replacing WB with Dame won't change their dynamics that much. He could give Lakers more points but that's because he'll take most of the shots.

As for Wiggins, he is still part of the GSW, not sure why the discussion of him being traded. His points might be down a bit from last year, but still the same Wiggins for me. It's that Jordan Poole is now the new player in GSW as the second best scorer.
Looks like they're getting better without Kyrie Irving? For sure we'll never miss Durant in this race he's really getting a good start this season and looks like there duo with Harden was just amazing to see. I guess Wiggins still plays his role and he's still that good at it, Poole was just having the playing time and the kid really has the bright future.

Let Poole enjoy the playing time in GSW, he deserves it. Wiggins is still valuable player for them even if he don't score that much.

And worst thing could happen once Irving would return because he might handle the ball more like he usually do in the past. Also, if he is part of the voting and if he will be able to play, I like to assume that he is practicing with this team even though he didn't play in the actual game, so maybe he is still conditioned to play.

After a rough start for the Nets, they now manage to have a 5 win streak, and actually, I didn't notice it right away as I'm not so hype by the Nets now without Kyrie Irving, however they proved that they don't need a player who doesn't care for the team and they are now dominating with their hot streak. Just like the Warriors, they also have their very own win streak.

Wiggins will take the shoe of Livingston, no longer the first option but very useful coming out from the bench.

With the way GSW is performing right now, with the comeback of Klay minutes for Wiggins will be limited, Poole is really showcasing his talent and together with all the sophomores, they are bringing good hype for the team.

Whoever coach Kerr is bringing inside the court, all are performing their respective role.

I know Wiggins is a scorer, but he needs to adjust and continue to help the team in whatever addition he can provide.

If he will only be limited or will not be maximized well, then he does not deserve a huge salary. Once a player is paid with a huge amount, they should showcase their talents and that is giving them enough minutes, if they can't keep the expectation then they might get traded. For the case of Wiggins, he is ranked number 27 in the 2021-2022 Player Salaries with $31,579,390 salary this season, so it's expected that this season we will see an improvement from him.

The trade talk is not new involving Wiggins as we saw some articles written about a possible trade of Wiggins and Simmons, and probably to other potential trades as well.

He will always be in the trade discussion because he isn't producing like what a superstar should produce in a team, maybe some people are satisfied with his performance but for me, this performance is not that satisfying based on the huge contract he is receiving. If Warriors will think of trading, their first option is probably Wiggins.
