Hehe Morris acting like he was run over by a truck after giving a hard foul. He could have sent someone flying if it was someone smaller and not a bigger guy in Jokic. Call it cheap shot but I think what Jokic did was fine to send a message that he's not to be taken lightly. It would have been better if it was a push but Morris would have acted the same way.

That is something we normally see in the 90's era, but the difference is, they keep the intensity of the rivalry inside the court. Unlike what happened to this brothers who took the everything even in the social media. They kinda acting like kids quarreling in the social media lol.

However, I don't know why Jimmy Butler was so mad about it that he was willing to put his career on the line just to have a brawl with the whole Nuggets team lol.

Curry still doing his thing and the GSW strength in numbers, what a performance from him tbh, it's totally the Curry we always wanted to see.

By the way, I think Markieff deserves that shouldered from Jokic, I mean he shouldn't have reacted it that way when there's no clearly foul when  Jokic got that ball, he should have his cool. Jokic as far as I can see played a good defense there and Markieff after that shove looks like was just acting, any thoughts? That was hilarious from Jimmy Butler that "Let's fight in the back".

I think there is absolutely no place for what Jokic did, with Markieff having his back turned and all, it could have been way worse and Morris could have suffered a more serious injury looking at the weight of Jokic and Morris being literally unaware of what was coming. Jokic will most likely be suspended for multiple games, I think.

And be fine too, I know that Jokic is disappointed with the performance of his team right now, and he is the reigning MVP. But what he did was not acceptable, it's a cheap shot. Sure Morris had foul him hard to stop them, but the way he responded blind sided a guy.

Acting or not, Jokic has the bad intention to bring the guy down. For sure the NBA are going to look at this issue, regardless if you are the reigning MVP of the league.

As the commentator said, Jokic has a history with the Morris brother, what Jokic did here was not cool but Markieff started it and you can tell that Jokic was just reacting, he maybe cannot control his emotion anymore but I think Markieff deserved that.

And the sad part is that it was Jokic was is caught again, Lol.

Yes, suspensions + fine, lots of emotions on that game. And that's Jimmy Butler for you, trying to protect his team mates.

For sure there could be more after this, we all know that this brothers are not going to settle down like this.
The fun part was the altercation in twitter with the new account created by the Jokic brothers just to reply on Marcus Morris, some even post a meme in WrestleMania. They are the kind of old school players who likes physical play but the way Marcus react, it's hilarious, ain't he likes to play like that even when not provoked? They should let their heads cool for a moment.

Have you guys noticed it? Players that mostly take advantage of the old rule where they pick fouls are having a hard time winning their games.
Trae Young of the Atlanta Hawks. They are now in the 12 seed in the East. His PPG became a bit inconsistent because he can't do the usual anymore.
James Harden who celebrated the first call made yesterday was hit hard by the new rule.
A lot of expectation for the Nets team even without Kyrie around because of their deep roster of stars but it seems like they are having trouble winning games when their playmaker is adjusting to the new rule.
Then, the sensitivity in calling fouls was also adjusted down. Do you like what is happening now to just let them play or are you still mad when yor supported teams are not called when fouled?
I think we are also adjusting to it.  Cheesy

I'm sure that they will just find another loophole in the system soon.

Their skill doesn't come from the fact that they can draw fouls per se. But rather the fact that they can adapt to rules and any changes.

Give them a season and they will figure it out and come back stronger than ever.

The Atlanta Hawks can't handle a strong team like Utah Jazz their way of playing is kinda different from others you can see that by looking at their chemistry and effective moving the ball. Anyway, we are still in the 3rd quarter but Gobert and Mitchell are already on fire and they are leading with 10 points.

This was an ambiguous situation. Everybody knows that Morris likes dirty play, and he definitely provoked Jokic in that episode. However, there is no excuse for Jokic's action. He shouldn't react to such provocations in this way, considering that he is a key player of the Nuggets. I mean, Jokic just lets his team down if he will be suspended for a few upcoming games.
Though I would say that I love seeing a bully gets bullish, I mean getting a dose of his own medicine but the good side of me telling that it was a wrong action as it demonstrates his weakness and their opponent might use it to disrupt him and we know how his team relies on him heavily.

There's nothing to improved on Jokic performance as a player but I think he has to work out on how to control his emotion as I've seen him many times especially in the playoffs that he can easily gets frustrated, and like I said, it's not gonna help to make the team successful.

That's why Morris's teammates do not react so much because they know him very well. This guy tries to bully a big guy because they know Jokic can easily be bothered by his action, things that they are only doing in playoffs, they are now doing it in the regular season, I hope Jokic will not be suspended, Nuggets needs him after that big win.
Fouls like that gets you suspended with the rules today and Jokic knows that. He was apologetic after the event and you could see it in his body language because he was thinking of the effect of his suspension.

They trying to act tough on social media hehe. They should bring their toughness by playing good ball on court where it matters. What I mean by that is hard defense and not hard but useless fouls.

Golden State Warriors do look like they are back on a roll. However, I am worried about what could happen when Klay is back. Wiggins is still in that team and normally they clash in position, both of them are Shooting Guards. I am sure they could move Klay to Small Forward if they want to, it is looking a lot like they could do that when he comes back, but with how his injury looking, I am not sure if he will be ready to defend bigger guys, and we all know Wiggins doesn't have the defence required to be there neither.

I am worried that they may have a bad chemistry all together when they are playing. Talking about bad chemistry, Lakers won a game but they looked so tired at the end there, if you are barely beating Charlotte then you are not ready to fight for a title yet at all. They need to get together and be a team but it is taking some time apparently.

Wiggins will be on the pine once klay is back.  Poole will get more run than Wiggins will.  Wiggins will end up getting a 15-20 minute role off the bench so long as the test of the team is healthy.  Curry is covering up how inefficient Wiggins really is.  They should turn him into a 6th or 7th man role and take the pressure off of him.  Maybe that will help him in the long run, kind of what Clarkson has turned into over on the jazz.

The one who initiated it first should be the one who should be suspended, Jokic has nothing to be frustrated about in that game as they were torching the Heat, so probably Morris thought they could win if he will get Jokic in trouble and he was successful.

and it gets more serious as the brothers have already get involved in an online war.

Looks like the Lakers are already exploring changes on their team after the slow start...  Rumors for the day have it looking as if they are on the hunt for a new head coach.  However, the fanbase on social media is being pretty loud that they don't think the head coach is the problem.  Lakers fans are starting to make a case that Russell Westbrook should be traded in order to fix the problems on the team.  Russell's contract likely keeps that from being a possibility, and the Lakers first approach Dame to see if he'd join the team, so unless Dame has had a change of heart and the Blazers are looking to bite the bullet to help him get where he wants to be, I think we'll be seeing Russell in a Lakers uniform possibly next year as well...  Personally, I think they'll get it figured out.  Carmelo is playing better than expected and Nunn hasn't even played yet while LeBron and AD have both been having the usual injury issues...

The Lakers roster in general is the problem. Not only Westbrook, but the whole team is the problem.
There's a point that they're too lazy on the defense and sometimes too comfortable with their lead and their offense.
I don't see any team efforts for the Lakers.
Infact, I can't even remember how the Lakers were playing a good game. All of the games they completed, they struggle a lot whether they loss or win the game.

I don't know but the last time a team perform very well with Russell on the line-up was when he's in OKC with Harden and Durant.

My opinion is  the same, not just Russ, but the combination that playing inside the court seems to have a problem blending together,

If you can see all their games, you will notice that they are struggling.

Either the players are not following the system or coach doesn't have anything and just allowing his troops to play with their chosen style.

It's not the usual Lakers when they acquired Davis, even they struggle last season, but they've got a strong start. It so happened that both LeBron and AD got injured and unable to hold their chances to move forward.

I really do not have any clue about the inconsistencies of Wiggins. There were games were he showed tremendous potential and shooting ability but there were also some games were he did not deliver what was expected of him.
Yes you do have a clue. You just said it.  Grin He is not consistent if there were a lot of games he cannot provide. We cannot consider that as an off night.
By the way, I think Markieff deserves that shouldered from Jokic, I mean he shouldn't have reacted it that way when there's no clearly foul when  Jokic got that ball, he should have his cool. They should review that thoroughly. Why would Markieff Morris put the blame on Jokic? Why not the referee? Because he is scared to hit them? The ref is the one who didn't call the foul and if you see how bad he hit Jokic, any men will get frustrated about it and hit back.
Morris'es. We all know they have a history of hurting players when they are disappointed. It's not new, use the damn history of that dude first before putting the blame on Jokic. I would do the same if I am in Jokic's feet even if I am a fucking NBA professional. That's just not right.
If you want to stop the game then do a normal foul and discuss it with the ref but not like that, its just too much.
