I do believe that he won't retire, he just had a taste of the finals, he wanted to get another crack at it again and hopefully they will be successful.

I don't think they need reinforcements, what they lack in this championship series is the experience. Majority of them have no or 0 championship experience, or even going into the playoffs.

As compare to the Bucks who has suffered in the hands of Toronto and Miami. I think that's enough for them to be battle tested in this year and chase their dreams to win the championship for this season.
Yes, this is a very interesting topic and I also think that CP3 will not retire, I still manage to play a few seasons as he is "only" 36 years old, I believe he has another 3 or 4 years in the NBA, because it's more or less at this age that many players retire (of course this is not a rule)

Before he went to the Suns, he is in the Thunder and carried the team literally because no one really expected them to go into the playoffs but he did the impossible.
Now he got traded from a team which didn't experienced any playoffs for years but have promising players like Ayton and Booker. He literally changed the whole team and its the first time of the Suns to go to the NBA Finals after years of drought.

He has at least 2 years still to get a title and for sure he will stay on the Suns. The only thing that the Suns lacked in the Finals was a big. Saric and Kaminsky are both injured at that time and they don't have any other but Ayton. With how the Suns played in this season, I'm thinking that they will be a team to be reckoned with because they are a strong team. They will come back next season and will enter the playoffs again.

I'm anxious about the return of Suns in next season, I hope he makes great signings and strengthens the team!

Practically CP3 led the Suns to the finals, Ayton and Booker played very well, the best thing is that they are young and will improve in future, they are like diamonds that will be cut.

I'm lurking at NetFlix a while ago and noticed on their upcoming series about an unforgettable event that happens in the league in 2004.

The documentary is about the famous brawl in the league, "Malice in the Palace". I like to see some inside stuff and never-before-seen information and untold stories on the 5 week run of the documentary.

The premier will be on August 10.

It looks like Giannis is enjoying himself but still remaining a class act.  Ordering a 50 piece chicken meal the day after scoring 50 in the NBA Finals...  Hilarious.  Even at the parade he seemed to be trying to keep his comedy act rolling while having a good time instead of dumping champagne all over himself like a lot of players do during their victory parade celebrations (if he did I didn't see it).  The question now I guess is where does Giannis go when his contract is up.  He always said he would leave the Bucks until he made them a championship team...  Mission accomplished.  Maybe we'll see him end up playing with Steph Curry at some point in the future.
When that happens, I want to see other teams beating the hell out of them.  Grin That's just too much. And speaking of too much, luxury tax for the Bucks management as the championship bonuses was triggered. NBA Finals: Bucks to pay luxury tax after Jrue Holiday's championship bonus pushes team past threshold
Quote
Jrue Holiday has a $1 million championship incentive in his contract that triggered when the Bucks won it all.
Their bosses are paying a lot for being crowned as a champion again. No problem though, they will get it all back once the ticket sales starts soaring again.
Just looking at how much support they had I bet some people will buy early for the sideline seats.

Just awkward and funny to think though, Booker + Middleton + Holiday all Olympic bound and could possibility in the same plane going to Japan.  Grin. Last game they tried to kill each other and now they are team mates and possible to bring home another Olympic basketball gold for the US team.  Grin.

I don't see it as awkward since they already know each other for long. They are in the league for a long now and already made several matches between them so I don't understand what's the awkward part.

And you have to remember that they bond with each other every All-Star game either as a participant or as an audience.

And he already achieves his dream of winning the championship, hopefully, he will continue dreaming of getting a back-to-back championship as other greats have done.

Another player that starts from scratch has no talent just height, doesn't have a muscular built, always losing in the playoffs, carries his team, and now evolves into a real shit dominating everyone with his strong built. A player the really worked on his skills.

I remember someone saying here when Bucks is losing in the season, Giannis should work on his 3 points, you are LOL.

Well there is a rumour after the all-star break that he will joined Steph in the future.

But since he accomplished it by himself with the help of Middleton and Holiday, I think he will stay with the Bucks and defend the title, or at least see how far they can go again next season. And after his contract expires, then he can make a decision. I agree with the class act though, it was really an unexpected title run for them since the Nets are the favourite to win because of KD+Irving then Harden joining later.

Its a well deserved win btw and you can really look into Giannis eyes on being hungry with that title.

And he already achieves his dream of winning the championship, hopefully, he will continue dreaming of getting a back-to-back championship as other greats have done. Winning an NBA championship is really the biggest achievement of any NBA player, and Giannis had done that at a young age, and also have to thank his supportive teammates, without them it's not possible.

Giannis is just young and he do able to get some ring but i wouldnt believe for some back to back because once this pandemic is over and crowd or simply say that go back into normal situation then i dont think that it would really be on the same situation but hey they did really prove out that they are really the best inspite of the condition or set up we are in.Its not a valid reasoning on saying up such thing.

Since he already proved that he can bring a regular NBA team into the Championship, I don't think that he will go to the super team where he does not need to work so hard as he did a few days ago to win another championship. If he stays in the Milwaukee Bucks, that would be a good decision too since he already established great chemistry with his team and the franchise, and also their fans really like him.

This accomplishment is destined to be in him. Not to take the credit away from him but what if Harden and Irving of the Nets were not injured during that time? He may not reach the Finals I think. So with him holding that Larry O'Brien trophy makes his stock goes up and he kept wanting more but I doubt the Bucks can defend the title next year if the Nets are healthy so with that said, if there is an opportunity that he can move to a super team, I think he will do it. Just my two cents.

I agree with you, the Bucks had really struggled in the game 1 and 2 of the ECF Semi Finals. Even if Harden did not play but as long as Irving is healthy, I think the Nets would still win the series. We have Durant and Irving who can score 40 points in a game, so they are really good offensively though their defense is not so good. Anyway, let's just forget about that, let's give this moment to Giannis and the Bucks as they had really work hard for it.
Better team would always win and no matter how good their offense is but it do still lack in defense then it wouldnt be sufficient on beating a certain team which is strong that you.

I wasnt even expecting for Bucks to take this years championship title and im really anticipating for Clippers but they did really choke out? Well, the ball is round and anything could really happen.

Its a well deserved win btw and you can really look into Giannis eyes on being hungry with that title.

Honestly i was expecting Brooklyn Nets to win the NBA with a superstar team, but i guess those injures had a big impact on their games. Bucks won against Nets and probobly won against the biggest team currently in the NBA. They deserved the title from the start. Big surprise from Suns for even making it to the final. Big achivement

Yes, of course, Giannis will definitely retire with the Bucks, and even if he will not anymore win a championship, I'm sure he will already be proud and remembered as one of the greatest in the NBA. Now, that Lebron will retire soon, there's no other dominant player in the league but Giannis and Leonard, and I like to see them competing in the NBA Finals soon.

Suns will have to improve but I think we will not see them soon again in the NBA Finals.

Honestly, I was expecting Suns to win the 6th game and bring the score of the series to 3-3. It'd be incredibly exciting to watch the final game. But Bucks didn't leave their job to chance and finished it in the 6th game. I don't know what I should say about Giannis. He's just not from our world.  Cheesy  What a great performance! Scoring 50 PTS in a game like this is not an easy thing to do for any player. He literally carried his team to the title.

I don't expect the Suns to win in game 6, actually, if the Suns would want to win they should have done it in game 5 at their home court, but unfortunately, they still cannot beat the Bucks so their chance of winning on the road is small. It was a close game 6 but the Buck again were so good with their execution in the 4th quarter.

Milwaukee Bucks never failed to amaze me starting from Playoffs First Round. Wink

I have won a bet against Miami Heat in 1st Round.
I have won a bet against Brooklyn Nets in 2nd Round.
I have won a bet against Atlanta Hawks on Conference Finals
And lastly, I have won a bet against Phoenix Suns on NBA Finals.

That was all a series bet with some profits too on side bets. I don't know but when the playoffs got started, I really have a feeling that Milwaukee Bucks will own the Eastern Conference. What I'm not sure about is Finals. Regardless, congrats to all bettors.
Congrats to you too for winning on their side with all of those bets. Well, at the earliest phase, many have doubted them but there will always be those that have faith in this team and with the talent of Giannis. But it's not all about this guy, he lately praised Middleton for this championship. Good guy, congratulations everyone who have won along side with the Bucks.

Yeah, it's been a fruitful and making some profits on the Bucks playoff series. Specially against the Nets wherein they are the underdogs because of the big 3 of Brooklyn and actually they almost lost that series if not for Durant's stepping over the three point line, it was very close.

So we are all good them winning the NBA finals this year. The Bucks has gained a lot of experienced from their frustrations in the last 2 years. They've move on, then management pieces together a lot of good (role) players on Giannis.
Many have speculated that it would be Brooklyn that will be taking the championship for this last season because they really got a strong roster additions.
But that's it, the season is done and we saw how Bucks pushed themselves hardly and with the determination to win this season.

Just awkward and funny to think though, Booker + Middleton + Holiday all Olympic bound and could possibility in the same plane going to Japan.  Grin. Last game they tried to kill each other and now they are team mates and possible to bring home another Olympic basketball gold for the US team.  Grin.

I also read rumours of CP3 or Russell Westbrook teaming up in Lakers jersey. For now it's a fantasy, but who knows, maybe Westbrook is willing to be traded again in the West. But it will cost a lot from the Lakers.

In the end all these guys all hang together there isn't many rivalries like their was in the 80s and 90s.  These guys allele millions and in the end all probably party with each other lol.  There are some outliers but the guys on these 2 tes don't really have a continual hate for each other.  Of course things get heated in a game but long term meh.

When the score is 0-2 I didn't think that the Bucks will gonna win until I see them tied the game and finished with 4-2 that's some really nice performance by the Bucks, they deserve it congratulations to Milwaukee Bucks. I see that there's already an odds somewhere for the next playoffs which team do you think will won this time? will the Bucks be a back to back champion for the next season?
