Milwaukee Bucks never failed to amaze me starting from Playoffs First Round. Wink

I have won a bet against Miami Heat in 1st Round.
I have won a bet against Brooklyn Nets in 2nd Round.
I have won a bet against Atlanta Hawks on Conference Finals
And lastly, I have won a bet against Phoenix Suns on NBA Finals.

That was all a series bet with some profits too on side bets. I don't know but when the playoffs got started, I really have a feeling that Milwaukee Bucks will own the Eastern Conference. What I'm not sure about is Finals. Regardless, congrats to all bettors.
Congrats to you too for winning on their side with all of those bets. Well, at the earliest phase, many have doubted them but there will always be those that have faith in this team and with the talent of Giannis. But it's not all about this guy, he lately praised Middleton for this championship. Good guy, congratulations everyone who have won along side with the Bucks.

Social media is already going crazy with rumors about who is next to join the Lakers. Christ Paul, Russell Westbrook, & Damian Lillard all being mentioned as strong candidates. Personally, I’m not sure we’ll see Chris Paul opt out of his contract. He’s got too much money left. I don’t think they have the assets to get Dame either. Westbrook looks like a decent possibility today though. It would be an interesting pairing with LeBron. I don’t think they fit well together but the talent level would be amazing.
I read one news that Magic Johnson said Chris Paul was too pricy for them.
There won't be any room for other good players if they will sign him up. It will be the same with Dame but WB might lower his price for a championship chance.

How about the Unicorn? I also read he was not happy about the Dallas team especially Doncic.
The plays for him are also not good since they just want him to stay at the corner waiting for the ball and they don't mix him up with the pick and roll plays. They will have a new coach now (Jason Kidd) and a new GM Nico Harrison.
Perhaps that could change something if he decides to stay.

Suns fans, it's okay guys, there's still next season,
I doubt that the Suns will have the same opportunity next season because many teams like the Lakers, the Jazz, the Warriors will be fully healthy. So competition among teams in the West Conference playoffs might be much stronger than it was this year.

I just seen a mock draft (only for fun) that had all sorts of trades.  One of them with Lillard going to Philly and Simmons going to Sacramento in a 3 te trade.  Bunch of picks flying around.  But imagine Lillard on that squad.  They would be nasty.  Being a knick fan this would suck.  Lillard is my favorite player not on the Knicks.  Wish somehow he could go to the Knicks.  That would be the key piece someone who can score when no one else is scoring (like this past playoffs)

I'd be happier if Lillard will go to the 76ers as they really need a good point guard that could score and carry the team. They had Embiid as their best player and he will dominate inside, sure with Lillard's ability to drive the ball and good 3 point shooting, 76ers will be a scary team come next season.

For sure.  Dame is what that team needs, I'm not a proponent of giving up multiple future first round picks but they are really a win now team.  Giving up signs and some picks I'd do in a heartbeat.  They were good this year, with dame on the team sixers would be the game on everyone's schedule they don't want to see.

If Lebron will allow Westbrook to bring the ball and play his game, then probably we will see them play effectively together. Westbrook is not a spot-up shooter, actually, he is a bad perimeter shooter, he loves to drive the ball in the basket and make assists, so for me to be effective, he needs to play the PG position and Lebron has to accept that if he wants a 100% Westbrook.

Also, there's a rumor that Howard will go back to the Lakers and Drummond will be out.

Bucks really made it, congrats to them! And I think that they totally deserved this title also. Actually, Giannis deserved it. He played incredible in the whole series. And in the last game, it was his best performance. He scored 50 points, that was huge. He just carried his team to the win and the title.

The good thing is he remained humble, as if he doesn't carry the team and even cried for happiness, I like this guy, he will surely become a hall of famer. I believe in the long run, he will improve more, his 3 point shooting and perimeter shooting might improve like LBJ.

Question:   2021 NBA Champion?
Milwaukee Bucks - 10 (40%)
Phoenix Suns - 15 (60%)
Total Voters: 25

I see some people voted after Bucks sealed the championship. Grin I should've locked it before the game.
Yes. The last time I checked it was not like that. I think it was 15-5 in favor of the Phoenix Suns.  Grin
Next stop, NBA Draft Pick. Who of those youngsters are you eyeing for to be the next Giannis Antetokounmpo who could achieve a championship at an early age.

Cade Cunningham - 6'8 Almost a complete package.
Evan Mobley - 7'0 - Who needs a center?  Grin
Jalen Green 6'5 - Ballhandler/Playmaker
Or maybe one of these guys.
Cade is clear number one and it is even already talked and decided as well, there won't be any type of shocking result with this year's draft because almost all of them are already decided so I do not think that we will see anything unexpected. I was hoping for some trades, Ben Simmons was shopped by Sixers but they couldn't find anything decent, they are requiring some sort of star but I doubt that they could get someone that would be at a star level just for Ben Simmons, dude is just not someone who would worth that.

I mean normally Dame is getting out and when he is getting out you are not going to get anyone as good as that so maybe they could have done something about that, but both teams decided not to, that was the only thing that made sense to me, Sixers Blazers trade would have seen a bit of change but neither team willing to give first picks and they both want first round picks, so it is not going to happen apparently.

NBA Finals are over, Bucks became the new champion after 6 game series. They did a great comeback after 0-2 loss and won 4 in a row. Giannis Antetokounmpo played an extraordinary game and scored 50 points. Don't forget the contribution of Bobby Portis too. Smiley Coach Mike Budenholzer got his first championship as well. Congratulations to whole Bucks organisation and city of Milwaukee.
You probably should have locked it but when I replied after the game 5 as you can see here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.57495754 it was just around the 4 of us if I recall it correctly. Well, I will just recall my past response here about the two brothers having won the championship and the Gasol's did it the first time but I guess they broke the record because 3 of them now has rings, Kostas got it the last 2020 season.

But if not for that big foot of KD, they wouldn't be in the finals.

I still remember that last shot where the game went thru OT, if it's not that big foot everything is not be in place right now for the Bucks.

Quote
But in any case, Giannis put one hell of a stellar performance in game 6 and throughout this series. Just a question on how many championship they are going to have with Giannis almost getting into his prime years.

No question about that, Giannis throughout this finals really put everything to carry his team, even they've lost the first 2 games he made it sure that his presence are really there for his team.

Though the help from Middleton and Holiday really lift them up, it's still Giannis who complete everything and win the title.

Regarding to how many titles? too early for that, let us give them some good time to enjoy this moment.

Suns fans, it's okay guys, there's still next season, the Suns reach this far but Bucks were the better team. they should keep the roster intact, maybe add some upgrade and hopefully next season they'll be able to compete in the NBA Finals again.

Congratulations to the Bucks, they deserved the win, Giannis was at his best in the NBA finals, he really want to win and prove other people that still has doubt on him, he is not a choker, he is a real star now.

Right, I think losing against Toronto 2019 and then Miami 2020 really made Bucks more resilient this year. Specially facing the same adversity against the highly touted Nets 0-2 and then win the next 4. But if not for that big foot of KD, they wouldn't be in the finals.

I wasn't certain that they will manage to win the title this season. Especially after Giannis get injured. They prove that it can be done and they will all contribute accordingly.
Giannis dominates on both sides of the court, Phoenix can't do anything. He shows incredible concentration and has been focused the entire game and when the time was right, he boosts and it was sure that Bucks will get the ring. Congratulations to Bucks, the whole franchise that support their project, and ofc the whole team.
As for the "Greek Freak", everybody said what everybody knows. He is on another level. Big respect for keeping the faith and get his first championship with the town/ team that embraces him and believes in him. Σ'ευχαριστoύμε Γιάνναρε, πάντα Πρωταθλητής!!! Cool

What a spectacular series for Suns and Bucks. Both of the teams did well, props to the Suns. We thought that they're going to sweep the finals but Bucks did a great comeback and they did the sweep after those first two losses that they got.
