Poor Paul. This was his best (and most likely the only) chance to win a ring. I had my banana boat post/meme ready in my mind when they were up 2-0 in the series but I guess we'll never have a chance to do it.

Anyway, Congrats to the Bucks! Giannis fulfilling a promise to Kobe (RIP). Well done.

And I still thought the Suns were going to beat the Bucks
I thought the Suns were gonna win the series as well, but the Bucks just won the NBA Finals. Congrats!!!

Felt sorry for Chris Paul, I think this is the last time that we are going to see him in the finals. How many 2-0 leads that they blew off in the playoffs?

Guess who amongst the 3 has gotten their first ring?

Congrats, Bucks and Giannis, MVP finals.

What make this more exciting is both of them is capable to win that's  why every game is so interesting, So whoever win on game 6 they create a huge history on their franchise but for game 6 I want the Suns to win so that we can see another intense game 7 since it will be a more physical battle between suns  and bucks. But if bucks will finish this well their 1971 championship strive will be broke and Giannis will get all the credits for breaking their huge years hunger to win a title.

Of course it turns out to be very interesting, we have the OG Chris Paul and then the upcoming Booker who has that Mamba mentality. And then on the other side, it's Giannis at the peak of his career and the supporting cast of 2 Olympic bound players, Middleton and Holiday.

In the beginning the favoured to win is the Western Conference. But it seems that there will be a big upset here in this finals as the Bucks win 3 straight games, and Suns haven't lost back to back in this series. And the last time they lost 3 in a row was January.

What makes is boring initially is that they thought that the Phoenix Suns are going to sweep, based on their 2 straight wins. But the tide has change, Bucks has the momentum and will give everything next game so win the finals and end the drought of 50 years of winning again.
Yes, exactly guys!

I'm watching the game right now and the game is very competitive, I've never seen Antetokounmpo play so well and so dominantly in these 2021 playoffs and wow, and how he evolved!!!

I would like to see Suns win the game to have a Game 7, but I see this will be difficult!

And I still thought the Suns were going to beat the Bucks

What a great Game 6 so far! Giannis plays alone especially in third quarter. Bucks had a good first quarter but Suns were better in second. Now we have a 77-77 at the end of third quarter. Let's see what happen in last quarter. Giannis will probably rest for 2 minutes and go on again. Meanwhile Booker should start shooting with better percentage. We are going to watch a fight until last second.

I love the way Giannis carries this Bucks team on his shoulder. Even on a night that Phoenix Suns are fighting real hard, he's doing majority of the hard work for Bucks now. The support from Bucks fans at the Fiserv Forum is on another level. Anytime Bucks scores points, gets a rebound or take back a lead, the screams are unbelievable. I'm not regretting the fact that I'm staying up late to watch this game. History about to be made.

Bucks still in the lead 76 - 71 with 3rdQ about to end.

Edit: 77 - 77 at the end of 3rd quarter. Suns fought back.

These finals getting worse game by game.

How do the bucks win the 1st quarter 29:16 and now in the 2nd they are down 5:21 in 8 minutes. 5 points in 8 minutes, thats some wnba shit.

The game is still very close, Bucks took at early lead in the first but then Suns clawing back to the game and take the lead at half-time.

This is very similar to game 5, wherein it was the Suns who took a good lead in the first quarter. Will the outcome be the same though? Suns stealing one game and force a decider to their home court?

No underdog in the series has covered the spread, so if the Bucks win this game, Suns will surely not cover, therefore it's wiser to just bet on the Suns' ML as upset already happen in this series. That's my thoughts on tonight's game, put everything you have as this could be the last game.

Booker, CP3, and Ayton should step up more and make at least 20 points each.
Indeed. That's why I said before it's either Bucks will win this game in a blowout game or they will lose it. It's just Suns ML at the option or a higher minus for the Bucks to win to equal the bet. Slow start for both teams, I think I am going to win my underscore here unless someone gets too hot on the 2nd half.  Grin Lot of turnovers, whoever took player props for turnovers could have won it early too.  Wink
Or those who bet for steals like this one. Flex.

For Bucks fans, here is Giannis stats in this series,

32.2 PTS | 13.0 REB | 5.6 AST | 1.4 STL | 1.2 BLK | 61.2% FG

Just one win away from the NBA title, and they are going to make history.

So I have the Bucks winning here, I know that the Suns are going to fire back and will fought every possession and be aggressive. But I don't think the the Bucks are going to let this one slip in their home court.

I'm with you on this one.  Odds are decent for Suns ML and CP3 I expect to have a great game.  Might not splash every shot but I expect 12-14 assists and for him to control the game.  I like the Suns ML and the under on tonight's game.  Can't wait to watch.

The time has come, we will know in few hours if the Bucks will be able to close out the series and win the Championship.

Suns has no answer in the last 3 games, Bucks should win this game, but anything could happen, Suns is a great team, they had some good games where they could have won the game, so the possibility of upsetting the Bucks in game 6 is possible.

The Bucks starters has to play their best game to finish the series today.

I hope not.  I don't want to see the NBA season end, and I'm hungry for a game 7.  I'd also like to see the Suns win a championship, but I believe the Bucks deserve it more.  They've had Giannis and have been building around him for years now, not being able to make it over the final hump.  The least they could do is take it to a game 7 for the fans though.  Maybe the NBA will work a little magic and we'll see a bunch of early foul calls on Giannis, Middleton, or Holiday.  I think we might need a little referee help today to get this one.

If it's really the intention of the NBA to bring this game to game 7, then we can expect that questionable calls as they have the power to manipulate this game. On my end, I'm hoping to see a clean game and maybe the best team win, refs don't need to rig the game because if the Suns will play better, they'll win this game.

Honestly I am not putting Suns out of contention just yet, sure this game looks more like Bucks win and that's a given, however weirder things happened in NBA history before (toronto beating gsw thanks to injuries, cavs beating gsw from 3-1 down just from recent memory) so I wouldn't say that Suns are completely out. Would I give them 60%+ chance like the poll shows? obviously not, I would give exact opposite, I would give 60%+ chance for Bucks but I would still give at least 30% chance for Suns as well (to get this game).

It means if it goes to game 7 on Suns home court with a momentum on Suns? That could literally be Suns at advantage. So all they have to do is win this game, if they can win this game they are suddenly closer team to winning at the same time. I am going to be quite sad to see NBA not being around for a long time, I got used to it after bubble followed by regular season so quickly this year.

I was going to read this thread until I saw 68.2% votes think suns will win.
You're right, never trust the majority, never! Always DYOR!  Grin
Anyway, Chris Paul and his teammates are forced to do a miracle at the Fiserv Forum and then play for glory in game 7. The odds, however, will be all on the side of the Bucks who'll do everything they can to close the books in game 6.
In short, my view is that there seem to be all the conditions for the NBA Finals to end tonight with a victory for the Milwaukee Bucks. It will in any case be a very close match like the last two, with less than 220 points overall and always only 10pts margin between the two teams.

Still a game away from achieving that, and for the Suns they still have this game 6 to try to fought back and regain the chance of winning the finals, they need to work and bring everything that they've got to deny the possibilities of ending this series this coming game 6.

CP3 needs to comes out and avoid those miscommunications and errors, he needs to step up and act like the tower of this young team.

We will know what fate is in there for this both finalist! Good luck to whoever win this game.
Yeah, the Suns still have a chance, but the Bucks will have an advantage because they will play on the home court. Also, it looks like the bookmakers consider the Bucks to be favorites in the upcoming game six. So it will be a difficult match for the Suns, especially emotionally. However, I'll still be rooting for them in this game.

I was going to read this thread until I saw 68.2% votes think suns will win.

You need to back read, so that you will understand why the voters thinks that the Suns will win the NBA Finals for this year. It's not the majority are wrong, but the Suns has been playing good basketball beating the Lakers, then sweep the Nuggets and then the Clippers.

But the Bucks has also gone into a lot in this series, specially against the Nets. But even if they are leading, you can still see that the next game is still unpredictable. Others say that there might be a game 7, while there are Bucks fans who wishes for them to close the Suns in their home court and be the NBA champions after 50 years.

Phoenix surpasses its self and its limit by been to the NBA Finals. At the start of the season, I really doubt that someone expects them to be there. They also have a huge motive since they never get a ring. At least Bucks have won it once... Grin
IMO Bucks was and still is the favorite for winning the series, even if they lose Game 6. And as a basketball fan, I would prefer to see a 7 game... (sorry Giannis) Tongue Grin

Yes, the same thing that we didn't expect Miami last year to reach the finals.

So same with the Phoenix Suns this year, they remain in the top 3-4 in the West in the regular season and then surprisingly beat Lakers (although we can argue that the Lakers are not healthy), but then sweep the Nuggets next. The Bucks now are the slight favourite, but as NBA fans we always wanted the series to extend to game 7, and then NBA bettors to at least recover or win big as well.

They are really out of the picture when the season is starting up and the always talk about Lakers,Clippers,Bucks,Nuggets,Miami and Nets but surprisingly Suns really give a good show so even if they will lose to bucks on game 6 still its a big honor for them to reach that far since eventhough there rooster consist of young guys this season they still able manage to defeat those strong teams in the West.

Yeah Bucks is finals favorite winner so I think at this point they  will be the winner and Giannis will win the Finals MVP.

Still a game away from achieving that, and for the Suns they still have this game 6 to try to fought back and regain the chance of winning the finals, they need to work and bring everything that they've got to deny the possibilities of ending this series this coming game 6.
