By the looks of it Bucks vs Suns thing is getting a bit more like a given up thing at this point, most of my friends that like to watch and follow NBA do not even care about the finals right now. Think about it the next game is literally the finals of the whole NBA and maybe will decide on the champions and they are still not caring. I do not know what the reason for this could be but it is obvious that NBA became something  very boring in the past few years for sure, no idea what could be my excuse but I know my friends just think that it is boring.

If NBA doesn't step up and do something, I am pretty sure that they are going to end up losing a lot more customers as well. Viewership numbers shows this as well, they have been rapidly dropping for the past 2-3 seasons and unless NBA does something to improve and get the attention again, we could see NBA not having this much attention anymore.

It's getting to be a 3 point show and talent has declined in recent times as well.  No one plays defense unless it's the last 2 minutes of the game.  College basketball is phenomenal because it is played like a team and for the love of the game.  I would recommend your friends pick up college basketball it is much better tv.

Fans also evolve, I mean, as the basketball style change in NBA, fans starting to accept it as well, unless you witness the old style and you think the old is a better one. For now, comparing NBA to college basketball, the majority would prefer to watch NBA as these college player's ambition is to get drafted in the NBA.

If I get to choose Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns, I choose the team with the Greek Freak. But my team really is the Detroit Pistons even if they havent been on the main stage for a while now.

Phoenix would have to be ready for the pressure of losing it all plus since the Bucks will have Home Court advantage, its anorher thing to not lose your game mindset with a very excited crowd.

Nice to see another Pistons fan, it's so rare these days. Grin
I was rooting for Phoenix Suns because I want to see Chris Paul to get a ring before retirement but they messed up whole finals after 2-0. I don't know how they survive from this, morale is at the bottom. Devin Booker couldn't play last ball well in Game 5, even though they played fairly even in the game they wasted decisive ball.
Jrue Holiday played one of his career nights, when you add this to Giannis and Middleton's great performance there is not much you can do. Bucks is very close to be the champion, let's see if they can finish this in Game 6 tomorrow night.

Well I am not a fan of just because a player is on a team. I like Pistons as they are the first team I knew. Funny cause I get to be a fan because of a merchandise with the team name and logo when I was in grade school. Lol

Phoenix, still is not out of the game even if the odds are not their favor. And it would be really great to see CP3 getting a ring. He deserves one.

Giannis and CP3 both deserve to get a ring, but it looks like Giannis will be the winner in the NBA Finals. If you compare their journey, it was the Bucks who are consistent in the playoffs, they are criticized because they are overvalued and they just easily lose in the series, now, they have a great opportunity to win the NBA Finals, so I would say, it's nice if they'll win in 6.

I really wanted to see a game 7, this doesn't change anything and there could still be a game 7 but I have to say that it is now a lot harder for Suns to end up winning at a road game, there is a good chance Bucks could end this in 6. ~snip~

The situation now favors the Bucks, they'll bring their biggest crowd in game 6 because if they'll win, they'll celebrate. I also don't see a scenario where the Suns will ruin this, if the Bucks will win, they deserve to celebrate the championship at home.

With this possible win, Giannis will be proven to be one of the legit NBA stars because his resume will go like this.

Regular season MVP
NBA Finals MVP
NBA Champion.

Don’t forget DPOY. He’s only the third to ever do that.

I wanted the Suns to win, but Giannis deserves it so you can’t be too upset. All the games have been pretty close though so for now I will be waiting and hoping like everyone else that we get to see a game seven in this series.

How can I miss that? yes, Giannis also won the DPOY which is a big achievement as well. Well, if there's game 7, I would take that as I still believe that the Bucks can still win on the road as they had already done that, but I like them to give everything they have, play harder so they'll win at home.

The Finals moved back to Arizona, where the home team tried to react to an ugly double defeat that has dampened enthusiasm and taken away certainties. The Bucks were gonna be called upon not to waste the positive energy of the two home victories. So far we're facing a series more balanced than we thought previously here.

Yes, but in the game 5, the homecourt advantage didn't hold. The series seems to be boring in the beginning because it seems that the Suns are going to sweep the Bucks. But the narrative has change, Bucks has now the momentum in this series and can become the champion next game.

What happened then? The Suns, back in Phoenix, lost again! It was a spectacular game 5 where the Big 3 dominated: Giannis with 32 points, Middleton with 29 and Holiday with 27.
Now the Bucks truly can win their first ring in 50 years!

What a timing for the Big 3 to show up. It was the critical game for Bucks and it's about time to show their teeth and that's what they do, Holiday steal the ball assists to Giannis for a slam plus a foul, he missed it but got the offensive rebound and tap it to Middleton. Khris then hit 1 of 2 in the line but it was enough to give them a 4 point lead.

Tuesday will be the game that can decide everything, the Bucks will have the advantage as they will play at home and if the Suns win Game 6, I believe they will have great chances to win Game 7 because they will play at home.
Still rooting for the Bucks in 6, they're on their momentum nto be honest and that's somehow an unstoppable feat for the Suns, plus they have the home court advantage.

We're on the same boat to be honest Og. Even though they wouldn't want this season I guess they give the best fight they ever have.

I agree. He does everything and did not let his team down. From being the greatest to just walking off an injury which really looked bad when we saw his knee go backwards. He deserves to win that championship although I think CP3 does too. He made the impossible, possible for the Phoenix Suns and took them to greater heights of being number 2 in the West and then this championship battle.
It's not over yet but there's a low chance the Suns will get this from the Bucks home. They need to use all their skills to win, up to the last drop of it.
Giannis and Middleton was exhausted at Game 5 playing longer minutes and doing transition runs. Perhaps the Suns could use that opportunity to get a lead.
Correct, so it's a big toll for the Suns to make a comeback in this year, yet alone win 1 game in the road to tie and then go home to clinch it, but then again, Bucks has showed their ability to be a road team as well. It's really sad that we only have to crown one champion, but Bucks is also making history here, after 50 years if I'm not mistaken, they could become the champion again. And we all know who anchored their last championship, so it will be history in the making and I'm sure Kareem and the Big O will be happy to see them win again.

The Bucks got only 3 losses in their home this post-season and TBH, they have one of the best crowds right now (still Suns' crowd to be the best for me Smiley).

If the Bucks will not win on Game 6, they will lose the series and that is my prediction Cheesy. The Suns are also good at the road in this post season so I don't still think that they are out of this already but on the other hand, the Bucks doesn't want to extend this series even further and they want to end this series at the 21st of July.

Overall, Giannis is already an NBA star and having a title on his back puts himself as one of the NBA stars of this generation. He is still 26 years old and he is still at his prime years so expect that he will accomplish more in the future and maybe he will get more titles too.

I agree with you that home court has been a major factor in this series, except of course Game 5 when it was a toss up and I think Booker just flat our drove to the lane thinking score and struggled to gather the ball then Jrue strips it and the rest is history. Are Bucks going to win the championship? I think they will. This has flipped into the "Giannis" series and I think his energy has already rubbed into Middleton and Jrue in these past few games. I think they already figure out the recipe for all three of their stars to be produce and be effective in this series vs. Phoenix.

For Phoenix, CP3 and Ayton had been inconsistent and you can really see sometimes that it's only Devin Booker who's really engaged and determined to score the ball. Ayton is focused on rebounding and CP3 is focused on playmaking, but I really think Booker really needs help from Bridges or someone else other than him to score the ball. Game 6 is going to be tough because Milwaukee is going to have home court and all pressure is now on the Suns.
Also, the Bucks made a comeback from a large deficit in the first quarter. That proves a lot for them to win a championship.
They are not just giving it up but instead making their own run fixing their mistakes.
Their defense improved too unlike the first 2 games of this series.
The Bucks might have found the weakness of the Suns and I think it was CP3. Whenever he is stopped by Jrue Holiday or PJ Tucker the ball stops rotating and they will go back to isolation play for Booker.
It ain't a bad choice but the team mates rhythm won't be there if they can't even touch the ball for a second.
Bucks are not known for assists but at Game 5 they won with 26 assists versus 23 of the Suns.

Will the Bucks be NBA Champion in Game 6???

I stopped to analyze the statistics of the last game and realized that both teams were very good statistically
Suns 68.4% (3 points) - Bucks 50% (3 points)
Suns 8 Offensive Rebounds - Bucks 11 Offensive Rebounds
Suns 5 blocks - Bucks 1 blocks
(and others stats)

Analyzing these numbers, both teams did well, and the score was close.

Unlike Bucks where they can find some help with Cunningham and Portis when coach call them up and rest on from those 3 stars,
Suns needs to find someone who also determine like Booker.

They need to allow Crowder and Bridges to keep doing their best in helping the trios, leaning more with Booker cause him trouble
in thinking what to do when he already holding the ball,

He wanted to take over but Bucks are there and ready to do everything to stop him, if there's someone who can help him and be a good option for drop pass Suns might have a good chance to win and force this series, adjustment from those stick defense from the Bucks is what Coach Williams needs to workout.

I know that you are a big fan of Phoenix specially Ayton, but boy, Bucks really surprises us all with the huge come back win against them in their home court.

And numbers shows that >70% when a team leads 3-2, they will eventually become a champion. No doubt that Suns is a good team, but as you have said, Bucks is the better team and they may close them out in Fiserv and crown as the NBA champions.

Very unpredictable series, who knows Suns will able to bounce back and force this series to do or die finals.

We seen every much where bucks are just lucky to win, because of those unexpected mistakes from the Suns leading stars. But for sure the momentum is really high for this team and playing in front of your home crowd and the want to dedicate the success in front of your avid wild crowd.

@gagux123. I reckon statistics are more useful for the regular season because all the same teams play every other same team for many months. Playoff basketball is more unpredictable where a not very good team can have the momentum and win the series. Lakers and Clippers for this season’s playoff.
