Dominant Game 3 win from Bucks tonight. Does anyone think this will flip to be a "Giannis" series and Suns are just fortunate he came from a hyperextended knee that made him a bit uncomfortable to what could have been a dominate Game 1 performance from him? I mean the Suns had no answer to stop him tonight when Ayton got in foul trouble and it looks like homecourt will be a huge factor in this series. Bucks shut down Booker. Suns had a run led by Cam Johnson but Bucks impressively able to deny any momentum shift because of Giannis' play below the rim. This is going to be an interesting series if Ayton remains in foul trouble. Steady dose of Chris Paul pick and roll are killing the Bucks but they may have found out a way to exploit how to punish them in the paint. Looking forward to Game 4.
Could be but I witness the Suns dominate the game whenever their transition plays are successful.
When they start controlling the pace of the game it will be the end for the Bucks until the 4th.
That's why I think the Bucks need to stop all those rhythms that will happen. Slow down the game and let Giannis decide how fast or slow the speed of the game will be.
Booker is pretty good whenever the defense is not yet set and so does CP3. But when every guard is active he is having a hard time looking for an opening especially when Jrue is defending him.

I agree, a slow pace game will favor the bucks as they have Giannis who can get inside and Dominate, their movement is also more accurate which would result in a better shooting percentage. Suns are a good fast pace team, they have the best PG in NBA now, and everyone is moving so it's hard to predict who will score, unlike the Bucks where it's most likely Giannis. They need to take it slow, just like an old-school game.

The 3 point shooing of the Suns dropped to    29% compared to 50% in game 2.

This was the game that we needed, because if Bucks lost this one as well then it wouldn't have been even a competition and we would know who will win the series and the ring. Now thanks to this one win, it changes everything, instead of being 3-0 it became 2-1 and that is a huge thing, one more win and you end up equal whereas otherway it is still 3-1 so it wouldn't matter.

I personally believe that now there is a big game coming up again but this time it is a bit easier for Bucks. The biggest problem Bucks had was confidence, they lacked confidence a lot for some reason on the first two games and they weren't sure how to play, even though Giannis scored a lot and all, it was good on paper whereas other players weren't given the ball nearly enough times, and forcefully given when there is nothing to left to do, like a time bomb. That is why they lost the first two games so decisively, but this time around it looks a lot better and they knew how to share the ball even while Giannis still had it more than anyone else.

You could argue that game 1 was just his "test" coming from injury but 20 points and 17 rebounds in 35 minutes is still a solid performance so I wouldn't say Suns were fortunate. They simply played better as a whole team compared to Giannis and his underperforming teammates.

...

I know he's a monster but he's still human who will be exhausted. I expect his numbers to drop to 20ish in the next two games. Suns will take a 3-1 or 3-2 lead if Giannis teammates do not step up.

Competition's between Bucks and Suns is steaming really!
Antetokounmpo put his golden mark on the Bucks' Game 3 victory with 41 points and 13 rebounds. He's taking away from him any comparison with MJ but the guy is simply stellar!
Bucks, with him at full speed, can smash the Suns: only two weeks ago we almost believed that his season was over: look at him now!
40+ points per game after a comeback from a hyperextended knee. It was a scary look but damn he managed to be back with just a week of rest.
I say this man will do more in the next years of the NBA. A champion or not every team will be offering him something huge that the Bucks need to equal with.

I am more worried about his wingmen. They need to keep up with what is Giannis is trying to achieve and support him in every way possible they can.
I still didn't see Middleton at his best performance but thankfully, Jrue's consistency is never fading.

I really like how Holiday comes up after this trade, he continuously helping Giannis in all aspects. Middleton might starting to heat up, he contribute 18

points good enough to balance that strong lead in winning this game.

Coach adjustments are very crucial this coming game 4, if Bucks continue this type of game the chance to win is very possible while knowing how good Suns in terms of reading the opponent's system of strategy, expect more changes from their rotations and from each plays that they'll going to show.

It's very rare, Booker only scored 10 points from the 3/14 shooting, the Bucks had really done a great job on him, they need the right kind of defense to slow down their best scorer. CP3 still played well, but when their best player is not doing well, they will lose. Great job Bucks, do it again in game 4 to tie the series.

This is what I'm talking about the last time, where the bucks need to push the tempo on their side, if you will look in the lineup they are the bigger team, the suns, and taking advantage of those is a huge boost to them, but if you look at what the weakness of the bucks is, is when they have the lead, they started to get loose a little bit, which they have done with the nets, remember the suns have paul, who understand every situation, they won't make the same mistake in game 4, it will be their downfall if ever.

It's now over, Giannis taking over again with a monster 41 point game performance.

They blow the Phoenix Suns early and they didn't give up the lead. Also we have been echoing that Giannis needs help, so he got it today, Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton. And then we have the fan favorite Bobby Portis contributing 11 points. Specially in the first quarter he was very aggressive and scoring medium jump shots. Now it's 2-1 still in favor of the Suns, but Bucks has the momentum now.
True, Giannis dominated every player on the court but it's the ball rotation that made it possible. It's not like Games 1 and 2, we can see now that they found their way to build their chemistry once again.
5 main players scored double digits and Jrue got more space by passing the ball more leading to 5/10 in 3pt line. We still didn't see a monster game from Middleton but he is getting there. Maybe he will be the next to dominate the Game 4.

Team play that's the reason they take this game away from the Suns,

I see that the adjustments rotating the ball is really impressive, they keep finding the right man to take the shots, good to make a much

better percentage, not just Giannis against the Suns but the fighting squad of Bucks impress those avid fans who watch this game and for sure they really enjoyed the game.

Suns had a terrible game 3. CP3 and Booker didn't even get 20 points tonight. They basically sat the whole 4th quarter and rested. 2 days rest coming for everyone, look for the Suns to have a spectacular game 4.
Wish that would be the case but I guess the Bucks will not make a deficit this time for game 4 Giannis should need to have that monster performance again to tie it. If they tie this series, the Suns would be sweating I think so because Giannis will not be out until he gets a good fight with them.

Looks like the "Suns in 4" guy was just for Denver I think we may have a rival on that now. Okay, Bucks in 6 and 7 out there make some noise. LOL! By the way, I voted Bucks on the poll above.
Giannis will not score 40+ for a 3rd game in a row. CP3 and Booker will come out strong for game 4. CP3 is winning a championship this year. Suns in 5.
Actually he did have another 40+ point game for a 3rd game in a row. So he is not with some of the elites as far as number that points scored, in the like of Kobe and Jordan.

Phoenix Suns really have to fight back, but Bucks are too strong in game 3. Jrue Holiday scored 20+ points and it's enough to help Giannis in the offense. But to be honest, there are a lot of bad calls and Phoenix was the receiving end. Anyhow, still possible for the Phoenix run to win in 5 games assuming that they are going to win next game. But it will be tough as the game will be in the home court of the Bucks again.

A must win for the Bucks so it is kinda like 90% expected that they will come back and win this Game 3. I think that it would be boring if the Suns won Game 3 right?? Smiley
Anyway this is the 3 keys why the Bucks won.

1. Giannis is just a monster into this Game 3.
2. The Big 3 of the Suns are nowhere to be found.
3. Bucks dominated in all of the stats in this Game.

1. If we will just see the line-up of both teams, its pretty obvious that the Bucks have the upper hand in terms of frontcourt. The Bucks are using this advantage of them to dominate and we saw Giannis dominating inside scoring 41 points, 13 rebounds, 14/23 FG and 13/17 on Free throw. Its just funny that the whole Suns team had 16 free throws the whole game while Giannis alone had 17 Cheesy. Another thing is that, we already see that the audience has a big role in his free throws Cheesy. In the last 2 games, he shot pretty badly on FT while on their home he shot 13/17.
2. The Big 3 of the Suns can't be found. Can we criticize them too like how we are criticizing Middleton and Holiday because they deserve to get criticized too for not showing in this game or can we just say that "Nahhh, they are just having a bad night that's all" Cheesy. Anyway, if the 3 of them will continue to score like this especially Booker and CP3 then the Suns will have a problem.
3. Rebounds, Assists, FG percentage, FG attempts, you name it they dominated on every stat on this game.

Game 4 will be 2 days from now and I will wait for the adjustment of the Suns.

Giannis will not score 40+ for a 3rd game in a row. CP3 and Booker will come out strong for game 4. CP3 is winning a championship this year. Suns in 5.
CP3 is hungry for a championship. This is his first NBA Finals appearance after 16 years of his career and he doesn't want to slip this opportunity to get a title. At least he wants to retire with a title a few years from now since he is near his prime already. Suns in 5 too I guess or 7.

Man, the Bucks really need to play on their court to get some wins. so the problem was the annoying fans who count numbers when Giannis making some free throws on the Phoenix's home court and now that they are at home, they seem to have huge confidence that they are not missing those crucial free throws and the result was an awesome win. The monster performance from Giannis was unexpected since he had some kind of pain in his knees but he was able to nail and managed to keep the series alive.

Yeah that's a huge win for them I didn't expect that Giannis became a beast on game 3 this  could be the X-factor to them to fire up their roosters and get a chance to defeat suns on their next match, They still have the homecourt advantage so its big advantage to them especially they win today.

Bucks are heating up when they win  today and for sure Giannis is more motivated to win another game on game 4 since they will play on their house and they win here earlier so I really expect to see them giving some good numbers especially the crowd is on their side cheering on them and annoyed the Suns in their homecourt.

But aside from this I also want to CP3 to win the champ since he's old and its good to see him retire having a ring on his fingers.

Giannis Antetokounmpo's performance was abnormal, he was on fire!
He got more points than Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday combined!

I don't know, but if Antetokounmpo keeps playing in this level, it will be a big problem for Suns.

Looking at the data, the Bucks had nearly 40% hits on 3-point shots, and had more than twice as many offensive rebounds as the Suns.
These are very expressive numbers

I am feeling that you will be a very interesting NBA final!
