There will be no Trae Young for the Hawks.
Atlanta Hawks' Trae Young ruled out for Game 5 vs. Milwaukee Bucks

There will be no Giannis Antetokounmpo for the Bucks.
Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo ruled out of Game 5 of Eastern Conference finals

Both teams are just matched for me. Like to see how both team's rosters will adjust now that their main scorers will be on the sideline.

Can't say who will win that match. It's unpredictable but I'm rooting for the Bucks to win on Game 5.

Bucks jump to a big lead of 22:7 after 6 minutes and Atlanta coach waits this long to finally call a timeout. How do you wait until you are down 15? What a terrible coaching!

And now it's down to 9 points lead, the Hawks has a good run in the last couple of minutes. I think Atlanta is still into this game. Even though the Bucks built a good lead, they  are still fighting even without Trae Young.

The 2nd quarter is almost done, down to 2 minutes, so at least it was not a blow out game. For sure both teams are going to come back strong in the 3rd as this is crucial. If Bucks continue on the momentum and build a solid 10 point cushion, they have a good chance of winning and the point spread are going to be covered by the Bucks.

More people expected Clippers to make the finals but injuries help Suns so much, plus Chris Paul's great performance lead them to finals.

The poll was set up when the Clippers are healthy that's why you see the votes are the majority for the Clippers. I'm not saying Phoenix Suns will not reach the NBA finals if they played against the healthy Clippers but we can't take away the chance that the result might be the other way around.

Exactly, there's a lot of "IF's", if Kawhi is just healthy, maybe we can see a different outcome.

The injuries of some key players in the playoffs destroy the excitement of the game so we can't say who's the dominating team these playoffs. Anthony Davis, Kawhi Leonard, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Giannis Antetokoumpo, etc.

The game is tougher, hard not to give your 100% every game in this playoffs and not getting injured. There's a lot of players that are bruised and banged but they keep on playing until they got injured. I guess it just part of the game, specially if you are on a max contract, you are expected to play hard day in day out and win for your team.

Phoenix Suns are really doing great so far and it's not their fault if the stars of their opponent teams got injured on the way. Although I bet on the Clippers prior to the start of their series matchup against the Suns, I didn't think that the result might be different if Kawhi Leonard is there. Salute to Phoenix Suns as they made the NBA finals thru their hard work that we have seen right from the start of the season.

There are even poll right from before that in case if there's a chance, who's the NBA player that the people want to experience a championship before they retire, the top answers are Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, and Carmelo Anthony. A good chance for Chris Paul to experience the Finals as he's now in the retirement period.

Poll Question: WCF?
Los Angeles Clippers - 7 (58.3%)
Phoenix Suns - 5 (41.7%)
Total Voters: 12

More people expected Clippers to make the finals but injuries help Suns so much, plus Chris Paul's great performance lead them to finals. Suns is in the finals first time since Charles Barkley era, young generation may only know him as a commentator. Smiley
Now let's focus on Eastern finals, I changed poll. Series is still 2-2, everything is possible.

Because we believe that the Clippers have a chance to win even without Kawhi Leonard, or we thought that Leonard would come back in the series.

PG asks himself, what if Leonard was healthy, maybe they can beat the Suns, well, I think I will say yes and even win the NBA Championship this year.

I'll call it a great year for the Clippers as they reach in the WCF for the first time.

The way it ended pretty much flushed their season down the toilet.  I honestly don't think Patrick Beverly should be allowed in the NBA.  Between his breaking Booker's nose when it became clear their back was against the wall to taking a cheap shot push to Chris Paul's back at the end of the game last night...  The guy used to be funny to watch because he was so annoying, but now he's just dangerous out there trying to cause injuries to players that are far above his skill level.  I haven't heard anything about suspensions yet, but if he isn't suspended at least the first 5 games of the season next year it will be a disgusting oversight by the NBA.

Maybe it depends on the gravity of offence, there was no evidence that Beverly intentionally injured booker, but it was clear that he pushed Paul and did not result to an injury, so it will only be a light punishment on a light offense, but Beverly's attitude should be discipline, that's another thing.

And Suns finished the job last night! They managed to beat Clippers 130-103 away.

This time, P. George wasn't that good. But even if he scored 20 more points, it wouldn't still be enough for a victory. C. Paul made the big difference in this game. He was incredibly great. He got 41 PTS, 4 REB, 8 AST. He got more than 50% FG and made 7 out of 8 3-pointer attempts.

Now, they are waiting for their opponent. Whichever team become their opponent, I think that they will have a hard time against Suns.
When you are playing in the league for 16 seasons and you are one win away from going to the NBA Finals for the first time in your career, you will do everything just to go there and that is what CP3 did. During an interview, he can't say anything because of his happiness. That feeling when you are in the league for 16 seasons and finally you are going to the NBA Finals and 4 wins away from winning his first title.

Now unto the other conference. If Giannis will be out tomorrow in Game 5 and Trae will be out as well, I believe that the Hawks might make another upset again and win on the road. The Bucks might win though if Middleton will step up as well as Holiday and other players in terms of defense and offense.

Just my prediction but I think it will be Suns Vs. Hawks Cheesy.

Suns vs Hawks, it's a great series but I think the Suns has all the edge to win the series.

CP3 and company will win the championship, they have been playing with solid defense and offense, and they have a good chemistry.
I mean everyone is contributing and they really live up the challenge.

They maybe are not the number 1  but in the playoffs they are now.
I think the bucks still have the chance remember the player who always finishes the game is Middleton, now that Giannis is not playing, it will be Middletons duty to lead the team they have lots of decent players, Lopez should also step up, who always show he can when it matters, like in the brooklyn series, i'll be happy, if both players can return, so that we don't have excuses who is better on those two remaining in the east.
I would love to see the Bucks going into the NBA Finals but if Giannis will not play, their chances of winning is very low. Middleton has his games where he is scoring 30+ but on the other hand, there are some games where he is just very silent so his performance has been going up and down.

We've seen a lot of injuries happened with the star players of every team this post season but the Phoenix Suns are still complete. No injuries that are affecting their team (aside from CP3's which isn't affecting him at all) and their chances of winning right now is very high. I would love to see CP3 having his first title after 16 years of playing and he deserves to win it because of how he is leading this young Suns team. The most surprising team for me Smiley.

I am one of the dudes that don't hate this guy even with all that drama that happened.
He is vocal, motivated, and pumped. He just wants to win in every possible way he can and his contributions made a big impact for the Clippers taking that 2 wins even without Kawhi. They might have lost the Conference Finals but he gave NBA players a big lesson that they cannot mess with him.
Imagine if players play the same way he did. It's like the 80's all over again and NBA won't be called soft anymore.
I don't know man, there is a good reason to hate him and also mock him at the same time and that is the fact that he is not as good of a player as he acts to be. Dude is not one of the best players in his team let alone in the league but when he is playing he is acting as if he is the best player ever. Don't get me wrong being pumped and hyped is a fine thing, I remember Celtics KG times and that dude was pumped and hyped at every second he played, he was just built like that, but when he was doing it that wasn't any dirty showboating type of deal, it was all about "come at me" type of thing and that is not what patbev is doing at all.

In any case dude is already 30+ years old with not so much prospects to look for, I am sure he will be out of the league in under 5 seasons, so he is not really a cared point in the league. At least he didn't injure CP3 on the verge of Finals, that is a good relief, I want to see CP3 win a ring already!

Beverly lost control, he was frustrated his team lost but in the while, he lost his sportsmanship. IIRC, they were teammates back in Houston but he is acting like they don't know each other. Pat is the best defender in the NBA, maybe, but CP3 is more than that, and he proves it by beating the Clippers.

My prediction would be:

Suns vs Hawks - 4-1
Suns vs Bucks - 4-2

So either team, it's a win-win situation for them, either team. And with Chris Paul playing like what he has shown in closing the Clippers, he might not only gets his first NBA ring, he might be the finals MVP too.

For the Bucks vs Hawks game, I'm seeing the Bucks winning and covering the spread.

He's showing that before he'll going to retire his number winning an NBA title would be the best thing to bring.

He already have the WCF it's long been delayed, I remember him with the Clippers, coincidence that he win it in front of the fans
who love him first! Another series for the world title very interesting against either  Bucks or Hawks.

I know most people probably hate Patrick Beverly but I'm sure his temates appreciate not having to play against him lol.  No one would have went at ayton like Patrick did.  Anyway clips need a big 3rd quarter if they are going to pull this out.  Cp3 is too much with a big lead in the 4th to come back on.

Lol, yeah he got the block but hit Ayton so hard in the head that its called a flagrant foul.

Suns still leading going into the third, we haven't heard so much of Paul George he is on a shooting slump in this game. We need to see Playoff Paul if they want to win in this game as the Suns as taken control up to this point. Booker and Paul providing the offense and Ayton in the middle.

Crazy enough it was a common foul.  I think cause he got the block first before he rattled his brain.  Then goes ahead and gets kicked out for pushing cp3 in the back.  Suns look like a strong team that can probably take out either teams from the east.  Suns definitely have to be the favorite here.

The Atlanta Hawks won without too much effort game-4  (110-88) of the NBA Finals in the Eastern Conference, bringing the series with Milwaukee to 2-2, with the Bucks deprived in the final of Giannis Antetokounmpo, who left in the third quarter due to a knee injury. On Twitter, the team talks about "hyperextension of the left knee". Antetokounmpo had not given his usual contribution even before the injury, but not even Jrue Holiday (19 points) and Khris Middleton (16) did better with six successful shots on 17 attempted. The two teams will meet again tomorrow in Milwaukee: let's see if the Bucks will get ahead again.

Both Giannis and Trae don't have that bad of an injury if there will be a chance to play, they'll do it.
Hawks have 3 players listed on their injury report as of this time. Trae, Bogdan, and Capela. Bucks only have Giannis on their list.
Fatigue will be their problem here if they all don't feel well upon playing the game. Capela is a big factor of the Hawks and so is Bogdan who had a big night at game 4.

But like you said, I don't see any of this team winning against the strong Suns team. The battle of adjustments for both coaches will be the big factor to see who can have the upper hand.
