Stephen A. said yesterday that Brook Lopez is a liability inside the court because of his slowness and he can't defend the paint when he is into a pick and roll. Now the Bucks proved that it is false and they capitalize on their height plus their defense putting a one sided Game 2 win against the Hawks.
How about we start admitting Stephen A. Smith had always been wrong with his predictions and the ability to choose what team he is rooting for. Maybe we could also start realizing that we should not follow him anymore.  Grin
Just kidding, he is a good way to receive news but that doesn't mean we should also follow his opinions.
He is a good news anchor but not an analyst.

Here is a good fact. Bucks lose game 1 with a 3 point lead from the Hawks while Bucks win with a 30+ point blowout game.
They just need information about them but in the end, it will be Bucks until the end, "Sorry for the Hawks fans."
I'm starting to agree with what you said Cheesy.
When he predicted that the Jazz will win easily against the Clippers he is wrong. I'm not following him though Cheesy. Its just good how he explains his side when he is on a debate with another person.

Now with regards to what happened in Game 2, they totally shut down Trae Young. Game of adjustments so this kind of adjustment is expected from them and I expect adjustments from the Hawks coming into Game 3. From the start, I predicted that Bucks will win in this series in 6 games possibly. Terribly sorry for the Hawks Fans here too.

Bucks and Suns in NBA Finals Cheesy.

That kind of adjustments is also what they've done beating the NEts at game 7, they allowed losing 2 games after that they bounce back strong and almost winning @ game 6 if KD's heroic game in-game 5 did not end well.

Bucks only needs information to form system that will counter their opponent's style of plays, now that they've already learned it, chances that they'll dominate is very possible.

It's up to Hawks now to deal with adjustments playing @ home will give them more confidence but they need a good plan to  win.

Agreed.  Jrue stepping up his aggressiveness on Trae was key.  Atlanta will need to find another way to win than just Trae.  Someone else has to step up big time in atlanta otherwise Bucks will just smother trae.

He's only good at creating drama or entertainment with the way he talks on screen and some gullible fans buy that.

It's a tactical game and whoever utilizes their advantage over the other team to the fullest wins. It's height for the Bucks and quickness for the Hawks.

Let's see what adjustments the Hawks will make for game 3.

Or probably Steph A has it's own narrative behind attacking or defending certain players or teams.

Yes, for sure the Hawks will make a lot of adjustments after that huge lost last game. This is already the finals, these teams didn't reach that far to falter and don't know how to adapt after a lost. I'm expecting the Hawks to be back in this series in game 3.

I agree, we love Steph A analysis, but sometimes it is overboard. Brook Lopez might be slow, but he is effective in the paint, can block shots, can score with that 'unguardable', hook so he has a lot + when he is inside the court.

And that's why they analyst received a lot of hate on the NBA players themselves, because it seems they really don't know the game of basketball with those absurd commentaries.

finally, the bucks realized that they have a huge advantage underneath the basket, Lopez is the game-changer in this game, smooth touch outside, if they play like this they won't be stopped by the hawks unless trae put big numbers every game, and the supporting class clicks it the different story, Giannis should really pound the rim no one can stop him.

They made a huge 20-0 run in the second quarter and they didn't look back since. Holiday still got 22 points and Middleton got 15 but Lopez really is the additional scorer of the Bucks with 16 points. One good thing is that they also managed to hold Young scoring to just 15 points. Giannis plus Lopez on the paint is a pain in the a** for the Hawks since they don't have that much bigs to fight against them. Like I said though, this game is a game of adjustments so I expect for Coach McMillan and the Hawks to adjust unto what happened in this Game. 2 games in their home, if they will win this 2 games then it is a huge boost of morale for the team.

Trae Young's performance in this match is the exact opposite of what it was in the first match. It looks like the Bucks found an effective way to defend against him, considering that they forced Young to commit nine turnovers during this match.

Stars have bad days so maybe this time bad luck hit him thats why he has bad performance on their last game. But next game is big adjustment to be made by hawks since they already experience how hard Clippers to beat on if they are in good shape.

Can't wait to see their next game since its revenge time for hawks.

This is the finals, opposing team will tighten their defense, I don't think that Trae Young has a bad day, it's just that the Bucks has obviously adjusted at they have seen what they can do. Just 15 points tonight, but for sure he will comeback from this bad performance, that's why supposed a star do. You forgot that bad game, move on and redeem yourself. Specially the next game will be on their home turf. Expect Trae Young to go strong in the first 2 quarters and not let the Bucks pull away.

Totally agree. Bucks already made a solution on there game 1 mistake and now they totally shut down the scorer  and game setter for hawks. Having a 34 points score lead really show how dominant the Bucks on game 2 but still Hawks have a home court advantage on next 2 games plus they might have a chance to defeat Bucks once they bring back momentum since they steal 1 game on bucks home court.

TBH, I never thought that there will +30 handicap on there match. My +10 bet got burn down.

Despite of that blowout win by the Bucks, I still don't think that this series is already over. I'm sure the Hawks will also make some adjustments, and they will bounce back in game 3 to take the lead. Still, Haws are underestimated, they maybe have a bad game but they are a legit team so they'll bounce back like the Bucks did to them in game 2.

Lol, just woke up to see the Bucks by 40 points lead? So I cash out to cut my losses.

I still have the over 221.5, I don't know if they can cover it, they need to cover 46 points in the fourth quarter if my month is correct to have a chance to at least win. Maybe someone can refresh me as to what happen in the first two quarters that I missed.
I was overwhelmed at how the Hawks win Game 1 and I thought they could steal another. I lose and never had the chance to pull it out.
Defense is what happened in the first half. The Bucks stayed in front of every shooter and even Lopez and Giannis are stepping up instead of just waiting in the paint.
The chances for them to go up 2-0 and then go to their home court is huge. So many including me thinks that they could steal another one in Bucks home court. But Milwaukee thinks otherwise, Giannis started everything, then the rest follows. Middleton just scored 15, but that was enough for him to bounce back from a poor shooting in game 1. It was under 221.5, garbage time wasn't enough to go to this score though. Tough luck.

The Bucks played the perfect game today, offense and defense wise, Giannis was unstoppable and then the support cast that you are saying provided the spark to massacre the Atlanta Hawks. It was game over in the 3rd quarter, as the second stringers are the one who finishes the game on both side. So it's time for the Hawks to make the adjustments, both are two highly skilled coach as well, so let's see who's going to crack.

The suns chemistry is ruin by Chris paul return, in the last two games their style of play is very different, they were attacking and moving without the ball when Chris return they need to wait for Chris to set up a play, they should have tried what is working, certainly, the Clippers can't keep up with the level of plays in those two games, but I think game 4 will be alright for the suns.
Oh, c'mon, that I disagree with. We cannot blame it all with Chris Paul, it could be just their chemistry or we can call it an off night for the Suns while good night for the Clippers.
Fastbreak points may be low but that's because Cameron Payne is hurting his ankle. He is even listed probable for Game 4.
We all saw how he turned the game around at game 2 and it will affect the Suns in terms of help for offensive options.
Booker needs to play at his best next game.

Kawhi seems to be returning for game 6, that is the latest that I could find. Which means if Clippers could snatch one more win at home (which Kawhi would have been amazing for if he could just play at home) that means even if they lose game 5, they will have their star player back for 2 games at game 6 and 7.
No, game 6 for Western Conference Finals Series to end and advancing to NBA Finals.

Just in the early minutes of the game The Greek Freak was showing some intense moves. See that turn around > to Dunk then fake it to scoop? That was literally the move of the day, literally on fire in my opinion. And that lead tells me oh no maybe Milwaukee was just as freak as Giannis or they'll dominate the series on East.

Clippers finally won a game in the series and it is 2-1 now. People were saying like C. Paul's return in this game would help Suns incredibly good. It turns out that it wasn't the case last night. Ayton - Booker - Paul trio all didn't have an impressive statistics. They missed a lot of shots. P. George was in fine feather and made a double-double (27 PTS, 15 REB). It was nearly a triple-double if he had 2 more assists. This was Paul's first game after he got rid of coronavirus. So I think that he will show a much better performance in the next game. Clippers should be ready for him.

I might say that Clippers gives them a good fight, rotating for both offense and defense really shows well,

Zubac, Beverly and Mann helps towering the defense while PG and Jackson have a good night again leading the  offense,
and the adjustments that Clippers made preparing for the arrival of CP3, they've give him tough defense and not allowing him to architect the play.

Game 4 for sure have more adjustment, both coaches will review all the last play and create new design to beat one another.
