Good comeback from the Bucks in late fourth quarter allowing the Hawks to just 17 points.

Khris Middleton suddenly caught fire and he hits 3's. Trae Young though, injured himself when he accidentally step on one referee and it was reported that he has a sprain, so that is bad news for Hawks fans. They could have won this game, they have taken a lead 5 points or more prior to Trae's injury so that is huge.

Blazers are set to announce their new head-coach[1] early next week, but we have some very interesting (not so much if you are a Blazers fan) news coming out of Chris Haynes:

The backlash from Portland Trail Blazers’ coaching search and his concerns over whether a championship contender can be built have become major factors that could force Damian Lillard to request out, league sources tell @YahooSports.

If you haven't followed the story, Lillard is taking heat from some Blazers fans on social media, because of the hire of Chauncey Billups[1], there have been rape allegations dating back from the late 90s against Billups. Lillard is saying he didn't know, nor that he was consulted when picking the new coach.  This is still a developing story, but don't get surprised if Dame indeed asks for a trade, anything that comes out of Haynes, Shams and Woj is 100%.
That's new to me. I had no idea that Chauncey was accused of sexual harassment before. Was it even out in the news before or they kept it?
Trail Blazers management could always just pick another coach if they still want sales of their tickets with Dame as the face of their franchise. I think he deserves a better coaching staff and there are so many options out there. Chauncey could stay as an assistant working his way to the hearts of the Portland team if they will hire him for that position.

Not familiar with issue too but I see that idea is good they can hire him as assistant before taking the big step.

Blazers management needs to work it out with the fans, it will have a big impact to their business if something happened along the way especially with their main man, Lilard already established his name as franchise player and if he move out it would hard for the team to bring that same intensity.

If there's someone who deserves more to be in the Finals, I think it should be Giannis because he failed many times and this is just their great chance to be in the Finals.
Well, I confess, Giannis Antetokounmpo also deserves it. In these playoffs he stood out than in previous ones.
But Trae Young exceeded expectations, he's on fire, what he did against the Knicks after the taunt is worthy of an Allstar player.
Beginning of the 4th period, Trae with 32 points and Antetokounmpo with 28 points.
Exciting and competitive game, the best team wins.

There are rumors that he might return, and some also says that he will not come back.

Kawhi Leonard knee injury likely to sideline him for Game 5 vs. Phoenix Suns
We will know comes game 5, just don't put a bet yet, wait until game time.
Let's wait, however, if Leonard plays game 5 or 6 he could make a difference

The next announcement would be, "Damian Lillard is asking for a trade" lol.

It's already circulating in the NBA rumor world that Lillard is disappointed, as always, on the Blazers' rally every playoffs. The Blazers are lacking to build and surround Lillard a good set of backup teammates for several seasons now. He is now about to enter his post-prime period that's why maybe he is concern about winning the title. His player option is set to take effect on 2024-25, too late for me I think to just chase the championship on that time and aggressively find a team that can be a finals contender.

Let's see how this goes as currently, he is on a supermax contract with the Blazers. But as for me, I'm seeing Lillard in a different jersey next season at 70% chance.

It's been known for a while, why do you think he's had trouble landing a job as GM or head coach the last couple of years, best he could do was assistant for the Clippers, or doing stuff for ESPN. It's hard when you have something like that on your resume...

Trail Blazers management could always just pick another coach if they still want sales of their tickets with Dame as the face of their franchise.

I mean theoretically, they could still change their minds, but it's highly unlikely. I just checked, their press conference is scheduled for Tuesday:

The Trail Blazers have scheduled a noon press conference on Tuesday to announce their new head coach. The team is not saying who the coach is but all indications are that it will be Chauncey Billups.

The suns chemistry is ruin by Chris paul return, in the last two games their style of play is very different, they were attacking and moving without the ball when Chris return they need to wait for Chris to set up a play, they should have tried what is working, certainly, the Clippers can't keep up with the level of plays in those two games, but I think game 4 will be alright for the suns.

Does it? I don't think so, CP3 has been a big part of the success of the Suns, yes, they played a slow pace but I believe that's the game plan. Pane is a great back up of CP3, but he was injured in the game so that's a big loss for the Suns, in addition, booker is not shooting well.

It's a bad night for Suns and  good night for clippers since imagine the hot shooting of Suns has been limited at that game, Maybe there's adjustment for players since maybe Booker is  not comfortable with his mask and Cp3 has newly comeback from injury. Maybe we can see  the real action on game 4 since for sure Suns will revenge on  their game 3 lose.

Also  they need to limit the clippers stars if they want to win the 4.
After game 1, the game has become so physical already. The Clippers understand that they have a good chance of being the Suns if they are more physical and I think the Clippers have more players getting minutes compared to the Suns, and being Physical makes the starters of the suns tired, and thats' where there advantage will come.
I doubt that Clippers could return from here. I know that Kawhi will be back soon, maybe even this game who knows? But that is still not enough reason for them to win the year, that is not going to be so simple. Of course we are not going to see an easy game for Hawks neither, Clippers will make it tough, and who knows maybe they may even a game or even two, but I doubt that they could make it to finals from here.

If Kawhi is healthy playing with them maybe they will have a chance but since he's out of the picture and his teammates struggles well we can actually say right now that Suns will take this and advance to the finals. But there always be a miracle so let see if Clippers have golden hands on Game 5 since if they continue to play like this well maybe we can say better luck next season to them.

The fourth game of the Clippers - Suns series was really boring to me. Because we have seen only 164 points. This is NBA, not an European league.  Grin  So I really hate low-scoring games.

When it comes to the result, it was very close, 80-84. I wouldn't be surprised if Clippers won also. But I'm actually surprised a little that Clippers couldn't manage to win the second game in their home court. They have lost their advantage now. And the series is led by Suns, 3-1. It will be quite tough for Clippers to make a comeback from this. But they have a chance for it in the end. P. George will have a big weight on his shoulders from now on.

KD tried to carry Nets to the next round but the team still were eliminated. I wonder if the same thing will happen to Clippers too.

Suns now are just one win away from getting into the NBA Finals.

On the other series, I guess the Bucks have a great chance of advancing because they are so dominant although they loss in game 1.
We don't know but let's cheer on our favorite team. If we have the Bucks vs Suns in the NBA Finals, it should be an even match, we see good odds for this match-up, so I'm hoping that would happen.
I would like the Hawks reach the finals, but I also believe the Bucks have better chances. Trae Young is playing really well, he deserves to go to the finals.
If there's someone who deserves more to be in the Finals, I think it should be Giannis because he failed many times and this is just their great chance to be in the Finals.

Been seeing those "SUNS IN FIVE" all over social media but it isn't end yet for Clippers but of course it's their home court that they just defended from their first two games. Been hearing as well that Kawhi is playing on game 6 and if they can get the game 5 win, there's still chance for them. Fingers crossed.
Wait, I thought Kawhi was out of the rest of the playoffs, I didn't know he could come back in a possible game 6 or 5, he just had a sprain, I don't think it's too bad.
If Leonard returns, the Clippers have a good chance of beating the Suns

Clippers have already gone this far, I also loss my hope that they'll be able to come back and win the series.
PG is outstanding, he did everything he can but it's just that the Suns are the stronger team because they are complete and healthy.

Leonard has to come back in order for them to win, but he wouldn't be allowed if he is not 100%.
Don't worry, there's still a next season, they already made history this season, I guess it's already enough for now.

So in my mind, I already decided that Suns is the first finalists. And that is a big deal, even on the super known and famous Nash and 7 seconds or less Suns years they never made it to finals, they were totally one of the beast teams of the league at the time and always got stuck one way or another, to see your team be that great and still fail, then for over a decade be tanking and horrible, then end up with a final all these years later? It is going to be insane.

Yes that is there weapon last game but it didn't effect for second time since they are been defeated by Suns and looks like they will struggle more since Kawhi is out maybe Suns will finish this game on game 5.

Also Don't know why PG always get choke maybe he cannot take the pressur in dying minutes of the game.

Trae Young also deserves to be an MVP, he should be one of the favorites next season.

That's for sure, and the Hawks will become a playoff contender already as they reach this far.

I think the Hawks will win in game 3, I just have a feeling because they are just +4.5 underdog, they have some respect despite being routed by the Bucks in game 2.

Hopefully, we will see a close game like in their 76ers series. I know that most of us are rooting for the Bucks, but let's give the hawks a chance and for sure they'll get at least 1 win in their home court.

Maybe rough him up, like Beverly defense on Booker, but as I have said, he is not intimidated and like to thrive in this pressure game.

Trae Young is now the best PG IMO, you can't stop him because he has everything, he is smart and he can get a foul if you put pressure on him, if he is in the line, that's automatic money as well because he is a great FT shooter. And mind you guys, Trae young is still playing with an injury, and he still manages to maintain being exceptional.

IIRC, Trae Young is not even an all-star, now that he has already proven people are wrong, then for sure next season, he will be an all start. Imagine if the Young Hawks would beat the Bucks in this series, that would be a big surprise on the NBA as we never thought they'll go this far.
young's breakout season, and evolve to an all-star, this was a great pick for the hawks, at first I thought he was just too small and thin, but he proves me wrong, in the future, he will keep getting better I just hope the hawks would build around him good players and another star player and dominate the east, although there are lots of teams that will not allow it, and build also their team to another level.

The confidence he had will make his team better, the squad of the Hawks are not even an all-star squad but they already reach this far. They are the most surprising this season actually, and I can say they have already surpassed our expectations, and winning in the ECF is already another bonus for them.

Trae Young also deserves to be an MVP, he should be one of the favorites next season.

Suns won but I don't see any good highlights of the game. Although there is one record that was broken, Zubac longest play time in the playoffs game or maybe his whole career. 40 minutes.  Grin

I'm not familiar with any records broken worth mentioning, but Paul George missing free throws again and then Cousins with that costly mistakes. And then watching CP3 sinking 3/4 free throws to seal the game for them.

I doubt thought that Kawhi will play next game, they don't need to force him and then damage him for the rest of his career.

That was the record of Zubac because he hasn't played that long like he played in game 4. Cousins was out of his mind or maybe he was really aiming for the ring but hit the board, I don't know what in his mind but it's really for the Suns as they execute well, thanks to CP3 who is already a veteran in the game.

Did we just really witnessed the worse shooting percentage of both teams Clippers and Suns?
Everything is not going in, outside shots, mid-range and even lay-ups.  Grin It was not fun to watch when you see superstars missing most of their attempts even in an open space. You cannot even call it good defense but just an off night.
Indeed, both teams shot worst, the score didn't even get to 200 points, I'm sure a lot lost on the 218.5 and over points.
