Defeating Phoenix Suns 3 times in a row is so much of a hard task even with Kawhi Leonard playing or not. That's what Clippers fans should admit.

The ball is round but we can't just apply it to the current Clipper's situation. Ivica Zubac is also questionable on Game 5 making it tougher to face the healthy Suns.

Not an either Clippers or Suns fan here but I'm hoping for the series extension.

Might be a tough hill to climb but them winning game5, winning the WCF is not a slim possibility.

As what have stadus pointed out that the Clippers was not totally dominated by the Suns in this series and it could have been a 3-2 lead for the Clippers if those FT's in game2 went in.

Clippers will be playing at home with Kawhi possibly playing so it might be a morale booster for them and a possible game7 would put the Suns in a pressure cooker which i don't know if they can handle.

This series turned out to be an exciting one even if Kawhi is out  Smiley.

Well... in this last game we saw, Clippers can be a dangerous and strong team without Kawi Leonard... 14/15 free throws, PG was on fire, DCousins only played 10~11 minutes and scored 15 points.

I don't know, but I'm seeing it happen again like it did in 2016 finals, Cavs vs GSW "3-1 come back".

wow, imagine if Clippers can get a game 7 and can win this WCF!!?  Roll Eyes Shocked

Definitely anything can happen!  Cool Cheesy

Suns getting clowned everytime they close the gap.

With this type of performance they will lose game 6 as well for sure.

What a terrible closeout game from Phoenix!
Yes it is pretty terrible from Phoenix already 5 consecutive losses in a row is is quiet a big set back for a team with this potential.
The team is totally out of form right now and out of confidence as well they desperately need a win in this kind of situation.

U have a lot of knowledge. Its no like LA didnt win 2 series back to back being down 2 wins, right?

Clown.

The ball is still round as you say, Let's see if pandemic P and rest of the clippers can pull off a miracle and win the series.
Now he showed Playoffs P again. It's not that he is inconsistent but he needs a lot of help also.
He can't do it all. They win whenever someone on the team steps up his game. Last time it was Terrence Mann and now it's Morris who made a big difference.
Reggie Jackson and PG13 will always have that big night but they will lose whenever only those two can make shots.
But whenever one more player on the team scores at high percentage they win. They are just asking for a little help from someone and they have good reserves to fill the hole that Kawhi left.
Cousins is there, Batum, and Kennard their roster is filled with stars or an average roleplayer. I think Coach Lue did a good job stretching that for a win.

Suns will win the series, I don't think that will be an issue. Clippers are really not that good IMO and cannot win the last 2 to close it out.
Suns will definitely win this series because I am pretty sure that they have what it takes plus I don't find Clippers that good too but we will see if Clippers can close the gap and make the game more interesting since it becomes a do or die match.

Definitely, Paul George just on fire this game and he is a very inconsistent player IMHO, They just manage to beat the Suns due to there high field goal percentage on this game but this not there usual field goal percentage. I wonder if they can keep this game phase or totally shutdown on the next game just like after they get there first win against Suns with Kawhi Leonard.

Me too, make it longer. Suns and Clippers match up is fun to watch. When they play better (like now) it becomes entertaining.
I love to see how the Clippers will try to win even without Kawhi and other other players stepping up. Now, it's Morris doing what he is good at, post-up game.
The Suns suddenly switched the defender from Booker to Cam Johnson because he is being abused by Morris.  Grin
Next half it should be Terance Mann who should fire up the team. They will need every help they could get from every player.

It's like a punch in the moon, even with kawhi on board they'll still have a hard time defending a well rounded team like Suns. There are so much to guard on, not only we can say that Ayton is unstoppable at the moment. Plus, CP3 feels like he's still on his effin prime playing like he's 15 years younger  Grin Then booker on the other side is a time bomb, can explode anytime he wants.

The ball is still round as you say, Let's see if pandemic P and rest of the clippers can pull off a miracle and win the series.

Though, Terance Mann is as well a time bomb on the other side but still not that nourished unlike booker. Let's see, I must say this season is much better than last year Haha

Agreed.  Jrue stepping up his aggressiveness on Trae was key.  Atlanta will need to find another way to win than just Trae.  Someone else has to step up big time in atlanta otherwise Bucks will just smother trae.

Trae needs help from the rest of the team, this is what I like with Atlanta the coaching staff allow Trae to takeover and with the support he's getting from his teammates the adjustment are being done inside the court.

Last game really off night for everyone, Bucks played good defense and Giannis really attacking them with much higher confidence.

Just like what I've said, it's up to Hawks to adjust and find the right system, they need to move the ball and they need to help Trae
to find his comfort, defense always pointing him rotating to free him or to find the best options should provide by everyone who are
inside the court.

Only way they win is if they're hitting 40+% from beyond the arc. They killed the Knicks outside the line but that was cause Trae disrupted the key for easy kick outs.  Jrue is way better than d rose at this point on defense.

Giannis, Holiday, and Tucker, these 3 are really working hard on the floor, they can also score at the same time but they can surely limit the star player of the opposiing team.

PJ Tucker is already used on defending a sharpshooter 1-on-1 and in isolation plays. Even he is not doing some big production in terms of points and to the stats sheet, expect him to one of the best defenders that Milwaukee Bucks have.

Maybe playing as a center before in Houston Rockets, even that's not his usual role, enhanced more his defending ability lol.

Wait, I thought Kawhi was out of the rest of the playoffs, I didn't know he could come back in a possible game 6 or 5, he just had a sprain, I don't think it's too bad.
If Leonard returns, the Clippers have a good chance of beating the Suns
That's what I thought but this is just rumor circulating around and it isn't yet official AFAIK. I'm certain the luck may have run out for Clippers with the 0-2 deficit series they got for 1st and 2nd round but also hoping they can win this thing, always hoping for their best.

He could play but not in game 5, so I would say the time is up and I think he just needs to rest after game 5 as the Suns will not allow the Clippers to come back and threaten them again. The Suns understand that if they will allow the Clippers to win, that would create a major problem for them as Leonard might be able to play, so it's now or never, Suns in 5.
Yeah,  Suns will have to defeat Clippers again to clinch the series, although Clippers is down, they are a good team, there as games that should go either, as @stadus have said, missed free throws by George, the "valley oop" to Ayton, and even the last game they are in the position to win. But it was just the breaks of the game. So expect the same intensity in tonight's game still 50/50.

Been seeing those "SUNS IN FIVE" all over social media but it isn't end yet for Clippers but of course it's their home court that they just defended from their first two games. Been hearing as well that Kawhi is playing on game 6 and if they can get the game 5 win, there's still chance for them. Fingers crossed.

Considering Kawhi is not there yet, I believe there is going ot be easily some sort of Suns domination. It is not guaranteed because in the basketball world we can always have people who would be capable of turning the games in a second, like let's say Paul George suddenly goes nuclear and he hits 7-8 shots in a row back to back? Those type of things can change things very easily.

However I do not believe that will be the case this game, it is obvious that Suns are just too good. I am super excited about Chris Paul finally being in the finals, I hope they win because CP3 definitely deserves a title. Not many may remember but CP3 was about to go to Lakers and NBA stepped up and said that would be too much of a power for a team when Pau Gasol and Kobe was there, so we could have seen CP3 win multiple rings with that team if the league didn't blocked it.

Honestly, I do not see the Suns had dominated the Clippers so far, maybe if we look at the series score they look dominated but in the details of the game, it was a close game, a winnable game by the Clippers, both in game 2 and game 4, the Clippers has a chance to win but their executions are not that effective so they lost. It's actually an exciting series, so I would not be surprised if the Clippers will pull a surprise in game 5 again, or just hit the point spread.

That's new to me. I had no idea that Chauncey was accused of sexual harassment before. Was it even out in the news before or they kept it?

It's been known for a while, why do you think he's had trouble landing a job as GM or head coach the last couple of years, best he could do was assistant for the Clippers, or doing stuff for ESPN. It's hard when you have something like that on your resume...
Now I know the reason why he is on and off-air with ESPN. I thought he will be regular there but found out he was an assistant coach for a team.
Then now, he is the new head coach of the Trail Blazers. My goodness.

I really hope he is good at his coaching style only and not with sexual harassment anymore.
I'd give him a chance but hands-off to any body, I mean anybody.   Grin

I'm not aware of this news either, but I believe in 2nd chances so let's give him a chance. Billups is a great player, he won a championship back then with the Pistons, so definitely his experience and knowledge will be able to help especially on the defense side as that's what the Blazers really need at the moment.
