Knicks had a solid game last night vs the clips, they needed that win.  Huge game against the Lakers tomorrow night should be a good one.  I fear the Knicks match up vs AD is terrible.  Skilled centers or power forwards (like giannis or ad) gives Knicks fits.  They will have to be real good beyond the arc tomorrow or they might get beat up.
I like the Knicks here because I like their consistency compared to the Lakers. AD is good and he is back, but against the good team, I don't think Davis's effort is enough to win. The betting odds are not yet available, but I'm expecting that the Lakers will be the favorites due to the recent win and they will be playing this game at home, like I said, I  will bet on the Knicks here. Both teams need a win, should be a low scoring game, we should also watch out for that.
The Lakers beat the Suns, while the Suns beat the NYK. if we only based our analysis on that, then obviously Lakers will win easily here against the Knicks. This would be interesting for me as the Knicks has to prove that they can win another tough challenge and that is up against the defending champion.

I'll be backing the healthy team here, they should win this.

Anthony Davis went off tonight against the Phoenix Suns. This is the first game he’s had since he’s been back where he’s been truly dominant scoring over 40 points and shooting nearly 50% from the field in the Lakers win. Granted the Suns aren’t the biggest team to match up against AD, the stats are impressive nonetheless.

He had a good game prior to the game against the Suns, unfortunately, the Lakers lost.
In the game against the Blazers, Davis scored 36 points and 12 rebounds, which was his normal, but it was not noticed by the fans since they lose.

I can say that Davis is already back, but he needs Lebron to be consistent in winning.
The thing is Lebron will probably come back this week, not like they really need to all that much because him coming back will not be 100% Lebron right away, so I do not know how much he would change the course, but they need 6th position a lot for him to be better. How? Well Lebron is injured we all know that, and he will probably play the whole playoffs injured as well, you can't just get better one day and suddenly be better, it is a gradual process and he will return when he "can play" but not when he is 100% healthy, maybe they could have done that if this was first 20-30 games of the season but it is playoffs so he will return as long as there is no major risk.

However if they get the 6th seed that means Lakers will have a long break until playoffs start for them, and that will give him even more time to get better, but if they finish 7th or worse that means they will go straight to play-in. It is not about if Lakers will be in playoffs, they will be, but it is about resting Lebron a bit more.

Anthony Davis seems to have been warming up for the playoff mode. 42 points of shooting close to 50% with 12 rebounds , 3 steals and 3 blocks. Which lead them to win comfortably against the Suns. Lakers were the 3/1 underdogs. Impressive showing. I dont know how Pelicans managed to beat the Hornets where scary Terry got 43 points but not enough as they lose by 2 while NOP were without their stars Zion, Ingram.
That's Anthony Davis but when I see him play he is still not putting 100% see how he runs the floor he is still cautious and maybe holding back, good to see Andre playing good tonight but Davis is the most noticeable tonight, hope that when LeBron comeback they are ready to destroy their opponents in the playoffs.
Davis should definitely feel better after that performance. When it comes to LeBron, even though he recently stated that he doesnt think he will ever be 100% again, when it comes to his body or fitness. We can still expect him to average close to 30 points per game in playoffs, if he's fit enough to play. He can surely build on the momentum though early games.Lakers still have a chance to get better seeding so that they do not have to play the extra matches, pre playoffs for the 7th and 8th spots. They are just 1 game behind Portland.
Definitely, because that performance of his resulted in a win which the Lakers badly needed that moment and going forward. Slowly, they are getting back the trust of their fans especially if they will win the remaining games and Lebron will come back healthy again to help the team. The Lakers still have a big chance to win this year, they just need to go back healthy, and of course, Dennis Schröder should be back as well.

With that stats from AD and he's still cautious and not doing complete 100% oh wow!  Shocked Grin what more if he's doing all he got and he's playing with Drummond and LeBron who also can offer same levels of game like that.

This big trios who can work with you one on one and can beat you up in a quick rhythm, they are pain in the ass for sure, whoever meet them in the playoffs.

moving forward to see them playing healthy as a team and working like  champ as they used to  Roll Eyes

I'm just hoping they don't have to end up in the play-in tournament facing Golden State.  While that would make for some entertaining television watching them meet with new teams and in new circumstances, I don't think anyone wants to have their playoff hopes resting on Steph Curry's shoulders.  Come to think of it, maybe this is the outcome we should be rooting for.  It might be the only chance we have to see a Lebron vs Steph matchup in the "post" season, if you can call it that.

The Lakers have a game today.

They are up against the Phoenix Suns, and they are +7.5.
will the lakers pull an upset today? they need a win and this win will be big if they can do it.
I believe they still have Davis in this game, so probably they have a chance to win.

What are your thoughts guys?

It's indeed an important game to them to stay and keep their position and even try to move upwards, it's just a 2 wins away from
Blazers, with those remaining games that left between this two teams, positioning still unsafe.

Though it will be a tough challenge for AD since LeBron, Kuzma and Schroder  are all out. Offense will be more focus with AD and
he really needed to step up trying to lift his team to win and to continue the chase of a much better plaece coming the next round.

+7.5 might be good if you are a Lakers fan, they are in need to work together anything can happened. Good Luck!

Turns out they don't need a +7.5, they won the game with a huge margin, and this is way too far from my expectation. What a good game by Davis, he is back, what can I say? I love how Davis carry this team, he is a legit superstar and he did that against the rank 2 team in the West.

@yazher. I like the GSW vs Lakers, that would be an interesting match, a championship team fighting for their lives in the playoffs and I guess the Lakers will be the favorites in that game or series. However, we know that GSW is capable of upsetting the Lakers, so I guess I'd back Curry here and let's see if they can beat the defending champion.

By the way, the lakers still have 4 games left, they need to win all the remaining games to secure a good chance in the number 6 spot.

It was a good thing that they won the game today and when the Portland Blazers will lose one time and the Lakers will continue winning then they once again back to the number 6 spot and skip the play-in nonsense thing. The playoff should remain like how it used to be but they made something unusual this year to give the league a new taste of competition which not really that impressive. If it was the traditional playoff tree, right now the Lakers will not use their full strength to be able to climb back again to the number 6 spot. they would have been saving their very best to the playoff games.

The way he plays today was so unstoppable.
He was literally living over the charity stripe as the Suns can't do nothing when he attacks the paint area.
I was most impressed by AD's hustle plays down the stretch. He dives for the loose ball, grabs every rebound, set up plays, and of course the hustle block during the final seconds of the game.
That was the real AD that every Lakers fans was waiting for.

Right, his biggest game so far since he comeback from that injury. The Lakers are in a needed win situation and AD deliver for them.

How about Luka's being ejected for hitting Sexton on the groin?

I can't criticize Luka here, he is just responding to the physicality of the game, and I like that because as a star player, that means he is not soft. Anyway, it still doesn't matter as the Mavericks still have dominated the Cavaliers in that game.

Guys, does anyone have any information and update on Kevin Love's trade???
He hasn't been happy in Cleveland and it is clear.

What are the possible teams he can go to? Warriors? Portland? Or another team?
I was thinking about that after the Cavaliers being banged up by the Mavs hours ago.
Why is there no team trying to snatch this good player? Positions maybe? Age? (he's just 32) Injuries?
Yes, its because of injuries. After signing with the Cavaliers for a 4 year contract (2019-2020) he had been on the bench most of the times or out with an injury.
He needs to prove something again before a new team will try to take him for a trade if its an option or if the Cavs will try to rebuild their roster putting players to highlight Kevin Love's skills.
They have a good roster now but not that great. Sexton, Nance, Allen, Wade, and Prince but its just not enough. They need a consistent scorer and outside shooters because their defense is already strong.

Well we say in his past interviews that he wanted to go to Portland because that's his hometown.

And we wanted to play along side Lillard, so we will have to see about that.

“Who wouldn’t want to play with Dame Lillard, first of all,” Love said on “Posted Up.” “Dame, he’s special. He’s amazing. I claim Portland when they ask me where I’m from...

Whether it be at the end of my career, whether it be in six months, or whatever it may be, if I was wearing a Portland jersey, that’s special. That’s playing at home.”

Thanks!
Hmmm, I also agree, I read in some websites, Kevin Love shown some interest in playing in Portland.

One team that I heard a rumor, that he could go to, is Timberwolves or Warriors, but are just rumors.

I believe he will go to Portland.

Love to Portland would be awesome. Dame hasn’t been happy and I think that move might be able to keep him around a little longer. I’ve always thought Love has been under appreciated since leaving Minnesota. He does deserve to get out of Cleveland and go to his hometown Portland or his original team Minnesota.
Yes, Kevin Love grew up and studied in Oregon, so he has affection for Portland.

Love is a good player, but unfortunately his weakness is his defense, he is a more offensive than defensive player

Even though he's over 30, but Love can make a difference in Portland.
