The New York Knicks is getting straight wins which take them into 4th spot in the Eastern Conference by beating the Atlanta Hawks today in the overtime. Looks like the few games left will be hard for those who are in the tight spot because every team right now is playing as we've never seen before.
Correct.
Even with teams at high seeds will need to take care of every games they will play.
Every win is a must to avoid the play-in tournament. Knicks might be in 4th rank but the 7th rank is just 2 wins away from them.
Julius Randle is the key player to this Knicks team which is why they are on the safe spot.
He had been scoring like crazy and stepped up his game. Then there is Rose for support and Quickley taking up a notch for every game he plays.
Knicks has a bright future for this young players.
he is a bigger version of Steph Curry, this guy has suddenly become a great 3 point shooting. On the win against the Hawks, he was shooting 6-8 from beyond the arc, if he can be consistent with that, I guess Knicks will be a big surprise in the playoffs.
They've already pull a surprised already by having a winning streak that put them in the 4th spot in a highly contested Eastern conference. And the top 3 of Eastern conference is on a losing skid, that gives the Knicks the edge somewhat.

Knicks vs Raptors on Sunday, this is going to be good, I do hope that Toronto will play their stars against the Knicks and no load management for Paskal Siakam.
This is a big surprise for a team with only good players, no stars, the coaching staff is doing a great job, and the players really have good chemistry, other people said that players who have better teamwork will eventually have an advantage even with facing a talented team, but they still need superstars to compete with the nets, but ill be surprised if they takedown the mighty nets this season.

They have the youngest MVP D.rose and all first time allstar Randle which lead the team to a great run this season also they have good role players which able to help them to get a good record so for sure they can able to compete with Nets since even if they have many stars their team work will always matter the most to win the game.

Boston Celtics vs Phoenix Suns, Boston huge underdog in this match @2.80. Suns on a two game winning streak.

Do you think that the Celtics, who is a underdog can pull a upset here? They are still in the 6th place just behind Atlanta Hawks. Or the powerful West team can win with a (-5.5) handicap?

Not aware of this but is Paskal Siakam or the Toronto Raptors do have a load management issue lately?

As for their next game, they should go all-out as always if they are still looking forward to a playoffs spot. Every game is a must-win for them as the competition on the 8th and 9th spots on the Eastern Conference is so close and tight. Currently they on a 4-game winning streak so I see that they are really pushing for it or else, their playoffs streak appearance will be jeopardized.

Another test for the Knicks, Raptors are also a good team, they bet the Nets so they are already starting to win. Let's hope they will not set their stars, we want to see some real action without no excuses from the Raptors, in this game, I think I'll still bet on the Knicks as I want to see their win streak continue.

Knicks increase their win streak, and is just awesome, I remember the Knicks as a team that has been tanking before, but now they are a real contender in the playoffs. What more can you ask from this team, even if they will fail in the NBA Finals, the improvement they have now is already outstanding.

Kudos to the management for bringing Thibs who are an expert in defense.
By the way, my D Rose contributing 20 points, not bad.

Unfortunately, the success of the Knicks cost an injury to Trae Young, it wasn't a good night for Trae as it appears his injury is quite serious. Hopefully he will come back soon and its not a season ending injury.

Its unfortunate night for trae young and it gives a confident to knicks since their star is not on the court and hawks really feels what they missed in trae's absence. Hopefully its not a serious injury and he can able to step back as soon as possible.

But still kodus to D.Rose and Randle for stepping up since they show knicks could possibly dominate in play offs if their rooster is all healthy.

Don't worry about it, it's not serious according to the news, so that means he will be back in this season, if not in the regular season then probably in the playoffs.

Another outstanding game for this team, Randle leading the team with support comes from each players inside the court. This really a huge achievement from this long forgotten squad.

Bringing the legacy back to the story, I remember them way back when Melo still playing with them and also tried to bring them back to the conference semi finals but failed after facing the Pacers.

Nearing to the playoffs they've got now a good position number 4 and hopefully they'll manage it up to climb for more.

^^, Yeah, that's why I don't bet against them, I have them at handicapped (-1.5)@1.85 odds. Not bad, they are really the hottest team right now and now matter who you put in front of them, they will find a way to win that game.

Disappointed with GSW though, seems that they are coasting in the last 5 minutes with 10 point lead. No defence, and then they've cooled off from the 3 point area allowing Westbrook and Beal to snatch this win from them.

Randall is really playing live there's no tomorrow, Lol, and he is willing to grind day in day out to get a win. They've beaten a lot of good teams lately, and they are always the underdog. So if you bet on team, for sure it will have given you a good returns so far.

As for Golden State vs Wizards, I think they've played good defense on Curry, Steph seems to be off this night and missing 3's that he should have made.

The NBA is at fault here, they should not created this "load management" because it's hard to control it to be honest. A team will certainly find ways to preserve their players to avoid injury, especially when they are already guaranteed with the playoff spot, I think they should review this as there's a lot of criticism about this, they are making NBA soft, missed the old days, sorry.
I agree to that, it's not the players that are soft in this modern era, infact players are most explosive, can shoot deep threes, and even have the 250+ pounds body that can move swiftly, agile and fast. But it's the NBA itself for changing so much in-game decisions from regular fouls down to technical fouls.
I remember Timmy got teched while sitting at the sideline for laughing at a referee's decision.
Back in the 90's you can't get tech taunting and shouting at your opponent after a poster.
You can't really compare era's though, maybe what the NBA has done is to really help the players with all this load management, but it seems it has back fired on them. Players and fans are criticizing it.

Now the control is more on the officiating, teams can challenge a call, etc. There's a lot of changes now and the NBA has really evolved, but there are pros and cons about it.
I Thinks people now this day are easily get offended with a simple gesture, meaning they get easily agitated mentally, meaning they are not been expose to the harsh environment, that they don't realize its part of the game, people in the NBA before are more mentally tough when it comes to taunting, and physical, but yes we can't compare those before the 90's era, because of the rules that are being put to protect the players and the nba.
Yes I would have to agree with you, I'm also thinking though, correct me if I'm wrong, teams are investing huge amount of money to players right now that they have to do this kind of load management thingy. Unlike in the 90's wherein everyone doesn't care, no blood, no foul.

Anthony Davis will be back in uniform for the Lakers against the Dallas Mavericks tomorrow. A long time coming. Will be great to see them get LeBron back soon for a nice Finals run. They’ve both been missed recently as the Lakers have dropped quite a few spots out west. I still like their odds overall, as the Nets haven’t gotten much time together playing as their new team (although with that much talent it might not matter).

Good to hear that AD will be be back against Dallas in their next game because he is badly needed. Lakers are depleted now, and I would even say that the morale is down since they are very inconsistent in winning games.

But if AD will be at least in the line up, their chances of winning increases. I just do hope that he is 100% when he returns, we don't want to see him gets injured again.
