It's actually -8.5 for the sixers and the moneyline is 4.37 for the Nets. That's some great line here if you guys ever bet on the Sixers to win straight up. However, I doubt they'll win tonight, Sixers are motivated and they will compete with the Nets to still get the number 1 spot in the East.

The odds are tempting in that case but maybe I will disregard Moneyline this time for the Nets. Short-handed but still can explode and who knows bench players will step up. A few hours now before the game starts and have some trouble here for what will be my pick.

But taking the game side, no matter who wins, should not be the basis of who's the best in the team in the East right now.

Exactly, it's not the basis because the Sixer are playing with a complete line up but the Nets star players are down. In this game, we could possibly see the Sixers to dominate the Nets, probably a 20+ points win because a short handed Nets can't handle the Sixers, if only Harden is healty, then maybe.

Jamal Murray is one of the big key players of the Denver Nuggets last year. One of the reasons why they beat the favorites Los Angeles Clippers in the playoffs the last time they have met after a 1-3 deficit.

That news about Murray tearing his ACL is heartbreaking for me. What pain and injury issues are taking away the power of a certain team. Lots of injuries this season from good players. Why this happening lately.

Nets and Sixers game is starting in a little while on ESPN. Should be a good one to watch. I believe Harden is still out with an injury and Aldridge has a cold last time I checked, but it should be a good game nonetheless. If the Sixers can’t beat an injured Nets team now while they’re still working players into the lineup, I don’t think they have much of a chance come playoff time.

A good match up to watch for the day. There might be a spark with this game after Ben Simmons dropped some statements against the Brooklyn Nets awful defense a couple of days ago.
Let's see what the Sixers got in their tank now.
Harden ain't playing and Kyrie is questionable.
While the Sixers have their roster fully healthy. Betting line for Sixers is 6.5 to cover. Not too risky bet especially when Kyrie won't be playing today.

I'll bet on the Sixers to win in this game, they have a very good home record with 20-5, and I guess Nets are consistently good at home even last season. The betting line is saying that Sixers could win this game as they are the heavy favorites, so I'm following what the bookie says.

I like that kind of positivity of Ben Simmons, he can deliver and help his team in the Playoffs. I guess the 76ers has a shot to the championship as they also have a good roster, they have improve this season a lot and I think they'll give a good series to whoever team they will face in the playoffs.

76ers always have a shot at the championship in the past seasons and they are improving every year, not just with their overall stats but their roster setup too. It's just that when playoffs come, they always come short (not including the bitter playoffs exit last year as they claimed, they can't give their 100% due to the mental effect of the pandemic).

Embiid was the first to become vocal about their team's supposed success. He was aggressive during the 2018-19 Season as he's targeting the Season MVP award. He wasn't able to get it but their playoffs run is amazing, almost on the verge of winning the Eastern Conference Champion but Kawhi Leonard's and the Toronto Raptors spoiled it.

I'm not even excluding them as one of the East contenders but I hope they will stay healthy until the end, same goes for other teams.

Yes, that's a good sign that they are not giving up just yet.
They improved a lot in terms of defense.
With the addition of Seth Curry, Danny Green, and Dwight Howard their defensive wall went up. Then, there's Embiid of course.

Outside shooters will have a difficult time escaping this players. Their guards are good at steals while their big men are also good at protecting the paint.
Doc Rivers might have married lady luck to land in a better team.  Grin

Doc rivers got it right as he lead his team in quite good spot right now. But I'm just wandering why there's less talk about sixers to finals  Grin people just only talk about lakers, nets or even jazz many forgot to see that Sixers got deep rooster and bench which possible lead them to get the finals spot. Lets just see in playoffs if they will not choke and got injured  Grin.

You can see that the source is ESPN which no doubt that this is a valid source rather than into those other links that floating around but to look up in depth then they do usually have common source too.

About Lakers on needing to catch up and star players should really go back into the court if they dont like to miss out the playoffs spot.If it would take some time or long then

that would mainly affect their standing but well it doesnt matter much as long they could able to go through playoffs. For sure the team wont really be letting that thing to happen.
Yes, that's a valid source but those results that came out upon result were click baits and unreliable sources that I've seen.

They should go back but I think that they'll be able to make it as we see Drummond's a good addition yet to make the best effect and outcome with the team, they should play altogether soon.

I believe Lakers has a chance to become the 4th as well by the end, doesn't really matter considering 4th and 5th play each other, and I think Blazers will not be able to catch up that easily neither, but things are looking good even for a fourth spot to show force as well, better for confidence at least.

Lakers without both AD and Lebron is not a great team, I wouldn't even say a good team, they are probably a decent team at best, they have zero star players in the roster right now, however it was good that some players that didn't get too many minutes is getting some more minutes and people who didn't shot too much getting their shots in, so right now is a good period for the team to actually end up making a good amount of progress for the role players and they could help the team more thanks to it when AD and Lebron comes back.

^^ Yes, Jamal Murray injury update: Nuggets star guard out indefinitely with torn ACL in left knee.

It's a big blow to Denver so its Jokic that will need to carry the team and others needs to step up. They are sitting comfortably in the 4th place so definitely they can make the playoffs. But it will be a struggle without Murray so let's see how far they can go.

The timing of acquiring Gordon, the Joker still have him and Porter,
those explosives players can provide the help that Jokic needs.

It's a different situation once playoffs started and without Jamal they will have a tough competitions through out,
but they've got some good role players to cover him and provide quality minutes.

How it won't take long and Jamal able to recover from this injury.
another player injured, I feel bad for him, he is getting better and better his performance last year was great competing with LeBron James, truly his game elevate, they have a chance to again face a team in the finals with their team, I guess we need to wait another year, and I hope he came back stronger, good luck to the nuggets.

The Nuggets did not lose a lot as they are not been winning anything anyways.
They are still suffering from the lacks of the killer instinct in their team and they don't have an Alpha player that other teammates look at.
I think that Jokic gets the numbers but I'm not sure he's ever going to be that number1 star at the tean. Most foreign players don't have that trait.
At the end this will mean we will have clippers vs lakers now. It was always lakers and Brooklyn finals.

Lakers will qualify in the playoffs this season, that's for sure.

They may have some struggle but look at their last 10 games, they are 6-4 and I think that's already acceptable as they can still win even without LBJ and Davis. If they'll rank in top 8 or 10, they'll still fight to get a spot but most likely if they'll fall, they'll only be at top 8 the lowest.

This is sure since even if they struggling now still they provide a good record earlier this season so playoff spot is no problem to them, maybe we see then get a hard time to beat theie opponent but when LBJ and Davis cameback they will be the team should need to prepared by their opponents.

It's a torn ACL as far as I know, so it's a season ender injury for him.

This is not a good news for the Nuggets, this season is probably their best season but losing Murray is a big thing.

If the current roster can stretch a bit more, while waiting for their stars, LeBron James and Anthony Davis, then they can definitely salvage 5th spot. They are 3 games ahead of Portland who losses to Celtics today.
The Lakers need only two wins to overtake the Nuggets and move up to 4th place, but the next five matches will probably be hard for them. And it will be unexpected if the Lakers show the same impressive performance against the Jazz as they showed against the Nets a few days ago.

If they can imitate that same game like how they beat the Nets, it's very possible for them to take the 4th spot.
Every game Lakers needs to win, the strategy they use against the Nets may not be applicable on different opponent so we can't expect that they'll immitate the same strategy.

We can't really say as Lakers are fcomposed of talented players, they managed to win against the Nets with KD and Kyrie playing,  also Aldridge is their plus all those role players aside from Jordan and Harden if I'm not mistaken, Kuzma needs to step up and show to his old Buddy (Clarkson) that he also improved his level.
Kuzma is good but he needs tso be more consistent with his game, Clarkson has a better stats this season, he will win the 6th man of the year for sure, while Kuzma maybe subject on some criticism due to his inconsistency.
simply they need to get better every game since playoffs are getting near the other teams starting to step on the pedal for a spot in the playoffs, they need more consistency like others said, because it will be tougher in the playoffs it will not be a walk in the park for the lakers this year, teams will give them a hard time and earn every game until the finals.
