I can't believe what I saw, Damn you Harden, you never failed to amaze us every time.

I thought they'll loss since Irving was sitting, but no, they still continue their dominance and Harden may have the best game of his life in this season.
here are his contributions.

Points - 40
Assists -15
rebounds - 10

A triple double night,.. what a night. !!!

Great game for the Nets, they are the slight underdog in this game but it turns out an opportunity for bettors to get a great odds.  Nets has just become a great team, everyone is so confident and thanks to Harden's good court IQ, 15 assists, imagine that?

He's dedication is really been paid off with that tripple double contributions, Harden find he's home now, no longer an individual career but the team's involvements.

Blending with his squad is no longer a question, with that 15 assist that's really impressive, finding your buddy all around the court is a kind of IQ that's not belong to every player.

Congrats to them as they continue winning they tied now with the Sixers.

@harizen has a point, Durant did it, teaming up with Curry and the Golden State to win multiple ring. If he stayed with OKC, should he be getting championship by now? I doubt it.

And we have seen that with Harden as well, he used to be the alpha on Houston, calling shots and everything. Getting good team mates like Chris Paul and almost went to the finals. Now, he is with the Nets joining forces with Durant and Irving and they have a good shot at the NBA trophy this year.
Durant's case is different, he joined the Warriors when the Warriors are already a great team winning championships, therefore it only increase their chance more and they easily won the championship.
Yeah, I think the comparison is that if Lillard decided to join Lakers with Lebron and AD, which already won a championship already.

If Lillard mature and doesn't care about max contract, and his only goal is to win multiple championships, he better be teaming up with a good caliber team like Lebron and the Lakers.

This one is also different with Durant's case as Lillard is the main man in the Blazers, he has no co star that he could have conflict with unlike Durant's time with OKC when he is equal or as good as Westbrook.
He has CJ as co-stars, it's not that they have to have conflict or something before Lillard moves, his goal is to win championships with others teams, for example the Lakers with Lebron.

And teaming up with other superstars doesn't mean he will have a bad reputation. It makes sense to do that now as he's close to entering his post-prime too.

We all know Lillard already put a mark on the stone that he won't leave the Blazers but the wind can change the direction anytime.
This is true. If he really wants a championship, he need to either request for the management to have some All Star Players on his team or he will be going to a championship caliber team

AD said in the that he will stay in Pelicans back when he was there and he will try to get a championship but what happened years after?? He ate his word, joined with LBJ and there he got a championship. Base on my observation, just only one all-star isn't enough to win a championship for me.

Just last year, Giannis also said that he will stay in Bucks even though he is a free agent. Without an all-star caliber player in his team, either he will request to have an all star on his side or he will leave if he really wants to have a championship. I don't see teaming up with other superstars a bad move since at this time, that is what we need right now in order to have a spot in a title right Smiley.

A good example is Russell Westbrook.
He had been jumping in different teams and I bet he is just looking for a championship.
The payment is still in good amount but soon it will depreciate.

Lillard is still very healthy and I believe teams are also interested to take him.
Having a clutch player like him will give easy wins as long as they surround him with good role players.

Lebron performance is not 100% Lebron has the habit of not forcing the issue, if necessary, LeBron mode in regular and playoffs is different, that is why i have no worries, Anthony Davis is still resting the only team that can compete with them is Clippers and the nets I think if they can dispatch the Clippers the only team stopping them to win another crown is the nets, it will be an epic battle.

Lakers looking great as well, they have been playing awesome for a while and they did it again, I really hope that they will continue down this path, AD missing more games than I expected and I hope he comes back healthy for playoffs.

LeBron has been a triple double machine lately. I think they’re smart to be overly cautious with AD’s return. As long as he’s healthy for the playoffs then all is well. It looks like the Nets are taking the same approach towards Kevin Durant’s recovery. Gotta have the guys healthy when the time comes.

Lakers opponents though in the last 3 games are sub teams, Pacers, Warriors and Timberwolves (not in the top 8 for playoff).

Good game between Nets and Pacers. Physical games and a lot of complaining from the referee.
Pacers build a good lead in the first quarter, but Nets comes back and close the game. It could have been tied if Harden hits that 3's.

He got CJ, but honestly I don't think the Blazers management are providing enough help for Lillard to win a ring with this franchise. He'll probably end up with a stronger and more established team next season, and the Lakers are a perfect fit for his talent.

Lillard already stated that he didn't want to be part of support team so for this he might not join any strong team just to get a ring if he will not be traded on Portland and the management should build a strong rooster on Lillard's surrounding so that they will get a high chance to get into the finals. I'm sure they want all the best for the franchise so for sure those things what we think are been consider already by Portland management.

The OKC before was relatively young and not ready for the big stage yet. What Westbrook, Harden, and Durant did was a good move to find their individual role as a star player. A reunion of the same team from these 3 players would be automatically become a championship caliber team.
However, the Nets currently line up is a more stronger team. I'll take Irving over Westbrook.

Dame  would not enjoy his status in the Lakers, he is a star player with the Blazers and he is getting a  max contract probably more endorsement as the best player, he is a type of guy that has a good reputation and he showed his passion in the sport, so I don't think he will team up with LBJ to form a super team, that doesn't sound fair to him.

Unless he wants a championship,  there's a chance he might team up with other superstars on other teams in the future. Believed me, there's no future on Portland Trail Blazers if the management doesn't take an action surrounding Lillard with good role players or at least a considered superstar. It's been several seasons already where we don't see this team participating in getting a big fish even in the free-agent market.

Not with LeBron as the supposed target teammate because at the time Lillard will become an FA, LeBron will be around 40 years of age or might be retired. There are other superstars he can team up to, again, if he will target a championship, with other teams.

And teaming up with other superstars doesn't mean he will have a bad reputation. It makes sense to do that now as he's close to entering his post-prime too.

Blazers looking good and Dame is bringing that team back to where it belongs once more, but I still think that it is very unlucky for them that they couldn't get a decent trade or an FA for the team, they tried their best I hope but dame+cj could go only so far, they needed more players to make it work.

I still think that if warriors managed to get that good even without durant on their early years, I believe that could have happened for blazers as well, just a few more decent role players and maybe a great defensive player and give the staff of warriors from head coach steve kerr to even janitor every single one of them, and I think blazers becomes great. Lakers looking great as well, they have been playing awesome for a while and they did it again, I really hope that they will continue down this path, AD missing more games than I expected and I hope he comes back healthy for playoffs.

I actually think dame is a top 5-10 player in the world.  I honestly wouldn't want anyone else with the ball in their hand down 1, 2 or 3 points other than dame.  Dudes range is infinite and is pure ice in game deciding situations.  Not a blazer fan but definately enjoy watching them play.

He’s definitely on the short list for MVP. I’d love to see him get some more talent around him so he could actually compete for a title someday. I don’t think he’ll ever leave the Trailblazers, but if he did and chose to go to the Lakers I think he would be a better compliment to LeBron then AD is. They’d just need a Dennis Rodman type to round out the team.

Since everyone is talking about the Cavs, lemme share my view on their current situation.
They've got so really tall players (compared input) but not the problem too, actually I feel they need a veteran again to lead the franchise, someone who has great play making ability and has some time left to make changes too. We've seen the like of Sexton, Nance, Cook, Allen... Etc continously improving on the court but miss the win. The management should look deep within who they'd acquire or probably produce a lead from therein.
I guess you're right. They should start getting or trading someone for a veteran, someone that they can release or if not, someone that they can just acquire without the need of trading any of them from the roster.

I remember when they still have those superstars that we have today, they're one of the most favored and liked team as usual when there are players like them in their team.

At least those 2 superstars are not taking the load management as they are really in the recovery period.

I also want to see those heavy favorites teams in a fully healthy lineup once the playoffs start or in the Finals. We might not see the same level of competition (for example with Lakers or Nets) next season.
