Lowry indeed a good back up, he always supporting his star caliber teammate,

Way back when Derozan was the star of Toronto and when Kawhai went their and bring them the title, Lowry just deal with it and didn't interrupt to any game plan, He's  a star on his own and bringing him either to Miami or Philadelphia he'll bring impact for sure, a very great addition to make the team more competitive.
I didn't even know Lowry was on the trading block, I mean Toronto is doing fine, sure they may not get another ring but if they keep playing this way and can somehow land one superstar they could still get lucky right? I mean look at what happened on their championship year, they were just a team that kept losing to Lebron constantly every single year and one year they got Kawhi (lost derozan though) and they ended up winning the title that year.

This is why I think it is not really that understandable that trading Lowry would somehow benefit them, they would logically tank with that trade and rebuild, and if not they would have to seriously get something good out of it so that they could stay at this level and I do not think that anyone would give any decent level player for Lowry right now, everyone has all their pieces and giving a big name would be bad business, so it would be basically some semi-ok player plus some picks probably.

Old man James with a triple double tonight against the Golden State Warriors to help his Lakers pull out the win. It’s funny that people are talking about Steph coming to the Lakers now... Personally I think that’s crazy talk and he’ll retire with Golden State, but even the great Kobe Bryant once requested a trade so you never know...

I don't think that Steph will move to Lakers. Regarding the game, Warriors give up too many easy shots for the Lakers, their defence is terrible. And it's obvious that GSW is not consistent, blowing the Jazz then losing like this one against the Lakers.

Love Perk though, Lebron will be what? close to 40 in 2022, when Steph's contract are up with the GSW. So we don't know how long can James play at that age, and also Steph will be like mid 30's that time.

But Kobe wasn't really satisfied with the players built around him that time, while Steph still has Draymond and Klay (once he comes back).

Portland Trail Blazers star CJ McCollum to return Tuesday vs. New Orleans Pelicans.

What are your thoughts?

Current odds around 1.9x ML for Portland, I did take it already, too attractive to pass it since CJ will be playing again.

Another gossip just because of the Tweet by Lebron tagging Steph.
I think it's Perkins which made the first assumption. That's their job, create something to talk about and fill tweeter with speculations.  Grin
Klay will be back next year and he'd been through a lot of mental training to get his head clear again.
I don't think Steph will just waste all of that effort by his splash brother.

He had his rings too, there's just no sense joining forces with Lebron. It's still better to have a rival for that championship.  Wink

I see a lot of future for Wiseman, he just needs more experience to see it.
That's for sure but I doubt if he can grab that ROTY award as I see it will be for Ball or for Edwards this season though the list of the favorite wasn't that far in terms of stats. He can dominate the paint and far more than that he has shooting advantage as I see him like an Anthony Davis caliber in the long run.
In terms of consistency, I think Ball will win the ROTY award, I guess there are betting odds available now already and I believe Ball is the heavy favorites. Good thing with Ball is his team is in the playoff standing, currently at number 6 now so he really has an impact to the team.

True Ball has being consistent, he deserves the ROTY.
I also agree ...
Lamelo Ball is standing out from the crowd, and I was also very surprised by his performance, he is playing well and he is being consistent in the games ... I think he wins the ROTY award!!
When he enter the league I thought he will be like his brother, seems to me he is more atheletic, and is showing leadership in the floor, he is a star, though its to early to say that but he is showing signs to be a great player, in the future, leading ROY is a great start, if jordan can lure 2 star player i think they have a chance to compete in the finals if.

They need to start winning some other games that they are underdogs in...like tonight's game.  Yeah they shouldn't win but that doesn't stop 7-8 point underdogs lose everytime.  Looking for at least a dog fight in this game and not a blowout like the Bucks game.

We had a preview of what might playoff games if the Nets and Knicks will face somewhere in the NBA playoffs but the combined skill of Kyrie Irving and James Harden is hard to beat especially when they are still at the peak of their career. they just got a sneak win today and James Harden got a Tripple-Double. This will be the scene in the playoffs if they still manage to preserve the kind of play they're doing today. The Brooklyn Nets beat the New York Knicks 117-112.

Knicks lose against the Nets.
Randle was furious with the last play. Yes, Kyrie tapped the ball so it should have been clear to bring it back down but the ref called it as travel.  Roll Eyes
Good effort for the Knicks at that last minute of the game.
Harden, oh Harden.
I am now a fan of this guy. Why take so long to be this kind of player?
21/15/15
First Nets player to make that stats. I bet no one could erase that anymore. It's difficult to find players who can do this much.

Randle and the New York Knicks continue their domination in the NBA game so far and if they can this kind of game up, they will gonna be torn for whoever they will face in the NBA playoffs. That if they continue to get such win like this in their upcoming games and they really need to stay on their current spot or they might want to continue winning to secure a spot on top 4-6 because behind them are the teams who are expected to go to the NBA Playoffs.

Good day for basketball. The Nets and Lakers both have televised games on ESPN and trade talk is heating up. The latest news being that Aaron Gordon wants out of Orlando and the Lakers have begun talks to acquire Hassan Whiteside now that Drummond seems likely to go a different direction.

Aaron Gordon is a big addition to a playoff team, I'll follow update on this one too.

For Lakers, they need to to find a legit big man,  Drummond could make this team better but if he would not play with the Lakers, then Whiteside is still okay, I guess he can still be dominant though, unlike Gasol who is not really living up the expectation anymore.

Cousins and Aldridge still dangling out there as trade bait as well.
I'm not sure with cousins future anymore but LA still has a chance to play in a good team, and maybe to be in the playoffs again.

I hope this is true.

New Orleans players got vaccinated on Saturday. Some might have very strong immune system and strong reaction to the vaccine. It seems it did not bothered any of them since they had easy win over Clippers.
Next would be the Dallas Mavericks, waiting for the approval. As also said in this article.

Plus lowly is the only player in the team that has won a championship (correct me if I'm wrong), once only  but it's still a big achievement for anyone. Now, if he can help the Heat to be in the championship again, I guess I would say Heat are not lucky last season, they are really good but underrated.
The Miami Heat has been underrated because they didn't have a good performance at the beginning of this season, and I guess nobody has expected that the Heat can play in the playoffs again. However, it is worth noting that they won nine games of the last ten.

They are now performing and just like what you have said they simply knocking each games that they've got, number #4 in the
east.

Adding Lowry also give them a much stable point guard who can back up Butler and Bam in terms of providing points
when this two stars are not in good shape, adding another scorer to lift the team whenever it's needed the help, Lowry
is a perfect guy to fill that spot.

Ball has a higher chance to get that title everyone talks about him he can also shoot some threes with no problem. Their team is also competing to keep their spot in the NBA playoffs. This will be something huge if he gets their team into the NBA Finals. Just like what happened in the NBA finals last year When Jimmy and his teammates beat the expected teams to get to the finals last year. They can do it too if they show some miracles in the NBA playoffs games.

I didn't expect that Hornets will gain a playoff spot this season honestly, but here they are, with the help of Ball even as a rookie, they have already reach the .500 ranking. We also have to consider the help of Hayward as he proved that the injury he suffered before is not a big hindrance for him to help his team.

Actually lots of role players helping the team to be successful and everyone seems happy when they are playing, it's just a different team when Walker left the team.
Big difference when your star player is more of a scorer than a playmaker, during walker time he is racking up points every game, while with the new star a rookie, he is distributing the ball to his teammates, which give them a high percentage, to score give teammates confidence and believe themselves, that is what driving this team to win games.
