No need for Blake and KD though, they've performed a high level of basketball tonight.

Irving again leading the Nets, will be interesting once Durant is back, how is the load management going to be. Irving doesn't need to score 40 a night though, once Durant is in the court. Blake could be used sparingly, like in a needed basis. And for sure he still can contribute. Nash is doing very well as well, it seems that everything is blending for his team.
When Irving plays he really plays, dude is a great player, he was seen as "toxic" locker room guy because of his last year in Cavs and some things he said at Celtics but dude looks like he could play very well no matter what so I do not think that seems like a problem right now, sure he has some stretches he doesn't really do the right things like leaving the team to go away for a week or something at the start of the season.

However when they get Durant and Blake as well, they are going to be something weird, think about a five on the court as Irving-Harden-Durant-Blake-Deandre, that could be as lethal as the famous Warriors five of Curry-Klay-Iggy-Durant-Dray as well, I mean it certainly feels as powerful as that team, but Warriors had a better strategy in place that worked very well, we will see if Nets will have that but it looks one of the best fives we have ever seen.

Last night I placed a random bet with Harden under 27.5 points , Lowry under 23.5 and LaVine under 28.5 and I managed to hit it... . I think I should play more random tickets because when I think and analyze the games, I end up loosing  Cheesy  Grin.

The biggest disappointment from last night are Bulls and I a lot of people felt into that trap ...I mean the odds were all over the bulls and it should've been a Bulls game but Doc Rivers showed us that he can win even with the 2nd squad.

Nets won again, that's a great win against a good team.

They beat the Celtics 109-121 and Irving lead the team with 40 points while Harden contribute a double double effort with 22 points and 10 rebounds.
Both are so consistent, they have been winning and had only lose once when Irving was resting.

Kyrie Irving is playing better now especially when he gets so aggressive with the ball. We can see that even though he sees an opportunity to pass the ball, he will drive hard and at least gather around defenders around him but being a former Celtic, he surely knows how to get through because not much has changed within Celtics playbook. Celtics is playing Kemba Walker as an starter but he really isnt dishing out some necessary plays despite having a great Forward - Tatum. Lets just hope that Nets can keep this consistent type of game because they are still missing out on Durant.

Kyrie is very known being an scorer type of player, ever since he play he really wanted to hold the ball and attack. But with your assessment, it's true that being a former player of Celtics,

He got some knowledge about the defense and he's killing them by attacking and aggressively creates points for him.

Nets as a team by now looks good, they just need to continue what they are doing. It's a good rotations and right pick of players to play together, they'll be more tough to beat once Durant play back, another scoring champ!

Excited to see the knicks fire up their second half of the season.  I just want to see the knicks compete and get like the 4-6 seed in the East id be fired up to see them in the playoffs finally.  Tough game against the Bucks here but hey any given Sunday right.  Go knicks!

Generally the energy flow amongst teams starting the 2nd half of the season was superb

Anyone heard this news?

Miami Heat's Meyers Leonard fined $50,000, suspended for week for using anti-Semitic slur.

He forgot that Miami Heat, the team that he plays is own Micky Arison, born in Tel Aviv, LMAO. This is disaster for Leonard, and with that said, I don't think he will be renewed by the team.

This is surely a bad move for Meyers but just as Kellerman told in his reaction, he wants answers because not everyone is very vocal about this and there are surely a handful of people who are doing this in silent. Meyers was just somebody caught in his own stream and its still a good move for the commissioner to put him under a punishment phase to at least pay for his actions. NBA is now composed of multiple races and players should keep in mind that there is no room for this kind of slurs or racism.

As the performance of the latest team of Brooklyn Nets right now do you guys think that they may eventually overtake the 76ers in the standings or just keep the pace like this because they already can feel they will be on the semis for sure? well I would like Brooklyn Nets to really make in on top of the standings in the eastern conference but it seems the chance is not yet on the horizon because 76ers next opponent tomorrow will be the Wizards

We all know that there is a huge chance the sixers will surely win this or a huge probability they will win this,

While Brooklyn Nets will be against the Pistons that is below the standings so a possible the same standing I guess but I think they will have a shot and will dominate the east,

but I am still hoping for GSW to perform well next season because I got a gut feeling for the Nets but let's just see and wait for the finals.

Kyrie got some unfinished business with Boston  Roll Eyes Grin Look how he did he's shots he really show them how good he is and how valuable

he was leading a team, things that he didn't get when he's still playing alongside with his former Boston team.

No need for Blake and KD though, they've performed a high level of basketball tonight.

I just hope that Irving attitude problem will not ruin what they are doing now since we know that Irving does not want nash as the head coach, I know sooner or later Irving will explode, I hope that he will just play and follow nash gameplan, this will give them a smooth sailing to the finals if things will be alright,

It will be tough for him to demand as Nets already have Harden which in case that he didn't cooperate coach Nash can simply bench him and let KD and Harden to play along with the entire Nets squad.

But for now, we are seeing them playing together and he's showing
good chemistry with his teammates might be happy now with his Nets family.

So Blake still not playing right? and KD still resting,
Blake did not play, same with Durant, injury related issue, but they will be back soon.
https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2924739-blake-griffin-will-not-make-nets-debut-vs-celtics-due-to-knee-injury-management

it's really good since they've been lead by Kyrie and Harden this two super stars are performing and continue covering KD's absence. With Blake and KD's playing and sharing the court, it's interesting how  coach Nash will manage blending this stars together and continue the chase in winning the title.
Kyrie has been appreciated now since they are already winning, I thought he would just go with his individual plays that makes the team suffer, but good thing Harden is a better ball handler than him and he is now the floor general.

Nets are really insane right now. 11 wins in the last 12 games ... Incredible!  Cheesy  They also ended Celtics' 4-win streak with this result. Irving (40 PTS, 8 REB, 3 AST) and Harden (22 PTS, 10 REB, 8 AST) were really awesome. J. Tatum (31 PTS, 5 REB, 3 AST) also had a nice performance at Celtics.
My main focus was Kyrie when watching the game.
He could make shots that are impossible to make even with Theis or Thompson defending the paint.
I didn't even doubt betting for them but that game was performed pretty well.

If Tatum gets some help Celtics might win, unfortunately Brown has an aweful night with 5-23 shooting, I don't know if that's his worst but that could be the main reason why they loss in this game. That's only 21% shooting and he made the most shooting attempts within the team.
Yes, bad start for him. Looks like a long rest from All-Star affected their performance.
He was 0-3 at the 3 point line when I started watching it.
That's pretty win! Kyrie leads the spark and the rest of the team perform to back him up.

I hope they'll have a deeper playoffs as I also want the Mavericks to be a better team this season, however, I think the chance for Nets and Mavs to meat is only in the NBA finals, which means both have to win in their respective conferences which is more likely for Nets but not sure with the Mavs.

I think it's hard for the Mavs to win in the West, the best teams are in the West, they need to beat the 2 LA teams which are the best at the moment and also the improved team which is the Suns. Playoffs are gonna be different compare to the regular season, that's when Leonard and Lebron showed their best.

Either way dont look now but Dallas looks like the righted the ship and will be competing for playoff position the rest of the way down.

When all healthy there is no way Dallas will not be in the playoffs. They will also be way higher then on 8th spot. Last 10 games their ratting is 8/2. That is only behind the Nets. And Mavericks were the team that give only loss to Nets in last 10 games. Only if healthy.

We have to remember that the Nets that night were playing without Irving and Durant, while Mavericks just got KCP back in the line up. A healthy Nets also is hard to beat but I'm not underestimating the Mavericks as they've been playing so great in the last 10 games.
Plays are different when durant and Irving are on the floor, the spacing opens up because durant can play drive or spot-up outside same as Irving, but this does not mean that the Mavs are easy to beat, Luka can dominate, I think the consistency is the only thing that is missing if they can make it steadily I'm sure they can go deeper in the playoffs, who knows.

What's your take on the Raptors vs Hawks on tonights game? ML is too enticing not to bet on them, it's 2.x above.

Sorry mate, it's a heartbreaking lost to the Raptors, I'm sure you are disappointed seeing that last three point shot.

I agree with the Nets win, good them they beat tonight, and Kyrie providing the spark with that big game. I guess we can say that they have blend it well right now. It's either Harden and Irving really pushing hard for this team to win.

Kyrie was playing like he wanted to prove a point to his former team. He never fit in back when he was a player in Boston and it seems like there’s bad blood there. I’m sure he’s overjoyed to have put up a 40 piece BBQ chicken meal on them tonight.

Yeah, that was a big statement showed by his game. He ain't so effective when he was still playing with the Celtics but maybe he coaching style is different and look at Irving with the Nets, he can dropped 40 points or 50 points easily, that's how good he is if the team would just let him handle the game by taking most of the FG attempts.
