What is happening with the Rockets? I know some of their players had minor health problems, but Wall is looking healthy and active. Nevertheless, the Rockets have won only two times in February, and they have a ten-game losing streak.

John Wall can't carry the whole Rockets alone. He needs some backup and that's what Rockets is currently lacking.

Don't hope for them this season. The moment Harden leaves, their offensive power decreases. They should just tank this season and play without pressure.

Nothing to reason out,  Nets winning streak already been break after this lost.

Without KD and Kyrie against the team who really in need of winning, the determination is far better and yes, Luka find he's big bro
inside the court and now contributing, coming from that injury Porzingis needs to show back strong, he didn't disappoint the fans and with the rest of the team play well they've got the win with a good edge.

Hey guys, it is normal that Nets could not win over Dallas but I was wondering what happens with Kevin Durant, I have been doing my own research and there is nothing clear about his injured issues. He looks like he will be able to play the All Start Game and that's really sad. He has lost 6 games in a row and it is like he is being prepared for this NBA event.

Kevin Durant is still resting due to injury.

Kevin Durant injury update: Brooklyn Nets All-Star forward will remain out through NBA All-Star break

Quote
The team announced that Durant will remain out through the NBA All-Star break after undergoing a routine follow-up MRI on his hamstring.

We will not see him for awhile but I'm sure he will come back soon and will contribute big time to his team.
I hope Durant will recover and come back soon, because he is a "key player" for the Nets, as Davis is for the Lakers.

I think the Nets get a place in the playoffs without Kevin Durant in the squad, but I contrast he is a very important playoff player, as Durant is a player who always plays well during playoffs.

It's definitely because of this guy. https://www.nbcsports.com/edge/basketball/nba/player/30279/christian-wood

Christian Wood has been playing like an all star and Rockets had been winning until he got injured and everything changes.
Rockets has become one of the shitty team now, hard to say but we cant deny the reality.

NBA has shown that they do not like Spurs once again, that has always been the case. There is no team that is over 50% without All-star this year, and the only one is Spurs who is our superstar and definitely deserves to be an all-star, think about it ESPN said Demar was 82nd best player in the league, he carried the team to 5th spot, mainly filled with youngsters team, and he lost his father, he was denied all-star game and he came back after a whole corona break and just dropped 30+ points in a game.

There are also lots of deserving players too, same as him, on the All-Star but think about it, there are standards and criteria. It's not about he's the 82nd best player in the league or he just lost his father recently (condolence). It doesn't also mean that NBA doesn't like the Spurs. Don't worry soon he will be back again at the All-Star pool.

And correction, he is averaging 20 PPG this season and not 30 PPG as you were saying.

The Cavs beating the 6ers last night makes them undefeated against the 6ers and Bucks this year.  Teams that heavily rely on iso or driving to the basket struggle greatly against the big front line of the Cavs.  Something to keep in mind for the future.  They were heavy underdogs yesterday but pulled out the W again.  I think the odds were around 6 to 1...   Shocked

Knicks at Detroit tonight should the knicks win this will be the latest in the season they've been over .500 in awhile.  Just to note the over under on wins for the season for the knicks was only 23.  They should handle that very easily.  Hoping they can win out before the break.  They need to win these games against teams under .500.  Give IQ more aging time.  Release him thibs!

I don't see an off game from Durant once he is in the floor, he is resting and that's okay as Nets improve their standing even without him. Just like the LA Lakers, they did not force Davis as they understand he should be healthy in the playoffs, so I guess that's what the Nets are thinking as well.

Durant and Davis injury will heal and these two will be back dominating the scoring again, I can't wait to see them but I understand that risking their health will be risking the team's future.
Preserving the goods for future battles.  Grin
Yeah, that's all the reason behind it.
Nets also took the risk of signing a contract with him. He will be better when he's at full strength rather than miss him again for the whole year if they force him to play without a signal from the medical team.

They are on 2nd rank in the East so there is no rush to win every game using their stars.
Even Kyrie can get a lot of rest thanks to Harden. I doubted the trade before but now I take it back. It may have been their best decision to put Harden in their roster.

You have to realize that this guy is a super star and not just an all-star and him not being in the game is a damn shame, obviously as a bench player in all-star game but he should have been there. But at the end of the day, I know as a Spurs fan I know that everything will be awesome and we will definitely be challenging for a championship very soon.

76ers need to really pick up the pace and error is not an option for them right now while the Brooklyn Nets are stealing their number 1 spot.

76ers play good defence. Season is still long. For me so far they are my favourite Eastern team. Nets are missing two key players, but luckily All star break is close.

Nets will likely stay at the number 1 spot, they are so consistent while 76ers have some problem sometimes that resulted a loss. Although the ranking now favors the nets but I think in the playoffs it will be a different story, I'll also back the 76ers to win against the Nets if ever they'll play in the ECF.

Not without KD, Irving and Dinwiddie.  Right now Nets looks like Harden, Jordan, Harris and a bunch of scrubs.

No Durant and Irving and only Harden was to carry the team and it's not enough. Then we have Kristaps Porzingis coming back from injury to help Luca with 18 points. And it seems that Nets are really tired after that amazing run they have, 8 game winning streak. Nash told that Irving's injury is not that serious and expects him to be back next game.

Sound like it was just to keep him healthy. Harden can manage to lead the to win but not this time against the Mavs.
Porzingis dominated the painted area using his size against a small Nets. DeAndre Jordan can't be on the floor for longer periods just to defend KP.

It's better than risking him to play. Mentally, Durant had no problem when he saw him play last time.
So I guess it's just really his physical health which they are trying to fully heal.

It seems that it is too early to say that the Nets would get the lead on the standings over the 76ers, And the Mavericks had made a stoppage over Nets 8 consecutive wins, and right now Brooklyn Nets are losing 2 key players, Harden isn't enough for the job and as for this game the Mavericks really did well with Luka Doncic firing up with 27 points, but still, I think Harden did a great job in making 29 points but that really isn't enough,

The 76ers defense is a thing, Brooklyn Nets need to get their eyes on to penetrate but with the lack of key players right now I think Harden is not enough to take that alone.

Of course without the duo of Kyrie and Kevin, James won't find it easy... Let's take it that the duo play little minutes, the game would have been different. So definitely their impact was felt!
Little but not so significant loose in their D. Offence had the major holes and the Mavs took good advantage of the loose offence.

Now that's what you called "teammates". I thought it was really Sabonis been offered for the replacement but I was in awe when I found out what Butler really did, well, just been curious with the news I've seen around Facebook and it was indeed true. Check the link above.

I think that's the fans who voted for him, he doesn't need to feel guilty or what. if he will not play then he will disappoint the fans which is not good. All star is just suppose to be fan, seeing your favorite players in the floor is what matters at all, so Jimmy has to play, Bam will have his time.

Mavs and Nets having a good exchange now. 64-68 Mavs lead at the half.
Nets lost.

Mavs won.

115-98

That's such a huge lead for the Mavs. Who among of you have bet for Mavs on this match, you've won.

The game is different if Irving is on the court since imagine how big the contribution he can brought up if he is playing but the little injury hit him and I'm sure those lose is not a big deal to them as they can win back the next game when Irving is on the rooster again. Nash expect kyrie to be in their line up next game so provably they will bounce back after that defeat.

Porzingis  performance today is so impressive after coming back from recent injury and hope Mavs will not trade him since they are good fit with Luka in their line up.
