I don't see an off game from Durant once he is in the floor, he is resting and that's okay as Nets improve their standing even without him. Just like the LA Lakers, they did not force Davis as they understand he should be healthy in the playoffs, so I guess that's what the Nets are thinking as well.
Durant and Davis injury will heal and these two will be back dominating the scoring again, I can't wait to see them but I understand that risking their health will be risking the team's future.
Preserving the goods for future battles.
Yeah, that's all the reason behind it.
Nets also took the risk of signing a contract with him. He will be better when he's at full strength rather than miss him again for the whole year if they force him to play without a signal from the medical team.
They are on 2nd rank in the East so there is no rush to win every game using their stars.
Even Kyrie can get a lot of rest thanks to Harden. I doubted the trade before but now I take it back. It may have been their best decision to put Harden in their roster.
