I hate to see this but Gasol does not fit with the Lakers.

His stats have dropped a lot, I hate to see a former champ not doing well in a championship team.
Look at his stats this season and compared it in the previous season.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/g/gasolma01.html

I agree with you 100%. He can not be compared with his brother's quality at all. I remember when Pau Gasol was in Los Angeles, it was a show time see Kobe Bryant and Pau Gasol playing together. Now you see his brother and it is like a statue, he can not defend to anyone. Once Anthony Davis will be back, he should go directly to the bench because there is no way to win a single match thanks to Mark Gasol.
His stats this season are really bad, thanks for the link.
Gasol is just a substitute for davis to rest while, that is why they also get harell for additional defensive presence underneath, he may not be the same when memphis , maybe because of age and injuries in the past also, but he can also help a bit in defense, but not in scoring, pau is better than his brother no doubt about that
Unfortunately I didn't see the kind of defense he showed when he was younger, or when he was still playing with the Raptors.

He won the defensive player in 2013 - https://bleacherreport.com/articles/1638277-lebron-james-chris-paul-headline-nba-all-defensive-1st-team
Therefore this guy is a proven defensive player, but with the Lakers, not being a starter, I think he is still adjusting on his role or it's true that he doesn't fit to the system of the LA Lakers as he was used to the grit and grind type of game and a little slow game.

Bucks lose against the Raptors even though they don't have Lowry.
First team to prevent the Bucks from going over 100+ points this season.
Giannis is just out. Lacking mental awareness.
Boxing out at freethrow 1/2. (This will go to Shaqtin)
Flagrant foul at the last 2 minutes of the 4th fouling him out.

Bucks seems not improving this season, the trades and acquisition of players might not help their team to improve, so they'll probably not gonna make it to the NBA Finals again and I'm afraid they might not able to make in the ECF, and I guess Giannis will not win MVP this season too.

Nets 109 vs 98 Lakers - February 18
It was a good surprise for me since Nets won the game but I can not see this team a serious candidate for the NBA ring right now. I agree that they need Anthony Davids becasue Gasol is just like a statue can't even defend nobody. We miss a good center on the team and it looks like A.Davis is going to be out for still some weeks. Lebron James was so alone...
We also have to highlight that Nets didn't have available Kevin Durant so we could say that they had compensated both teams.

He had a bad season when Leonard left the Toronto Raptors, even bad this season.
As per report attached; he only average 4.3 PTS and 4.2 rebounds, that's not good to see knowing how good he was during his time with the Memphis

Nice win by the Lakers, that was too easy, I think everyone on the Nets are already comfortable with their role.

Harris was hot in the 3 point line he shoots 6/7 and nice design of play for him as he always gets an open looks.
All of the Nets players are really contributing and though this is a low scoring game, it still favors the nets.

Win streak continues for the Nets.
You mean "win by the Nets".  Grin
Yeah, I just noticed now how big the difference is in their stats.
3 pts. Lakers 8/30 Nets 18/39
That's way far and unbelievable. I know Nets shooting had been great since they had Harden and the 3 point shootout champion Harris.
But the stats of Lakers is just absurd.
Everything is almost identical in stats except for that. Thankfully, I took the bet for the Nets.  Wink

Yeah right! I also read back after that unintention or mistake from his post.

Lakers was been dominated from first to third quarter and even they've got some edge in the fourth it couldn'd be enough to take this
game from the Nets, Harden again have a double digit assist and the leading scorer for the Nets while LeBron in the otherside don't
have enough support from his squad, KD-less Net and AD-Less Lakers fair enough in terms of influence inside the court..

Yeah, GG to Clippers. Clarkson just keeps on improving and improving and he's recognized with that. Do you think that because of his improvement Lakers would take him back soon or will get an offer from them? Or it's best for him to be known to be staying good and have him as a signature player of Jazz because I think he became well on his transfer there.

He's close to get the 6th month of the year and the one he needs now is to became more consistent on his stats so that he can successfully achieve it. But I don't like the idea about taking him back on the Lakers since he's perfect fit already on the Jazz organization since he have his role their and I also don't think that they will let jordan out on their rotation since this will be a huge mistake since their 2nd unit will be weaken if they decide to trade clarkson in future.
I'm just having the thought that what if Lakers appreciates him and want to take him back. That happens in the NBA when they see their man grown enough and became better with other teams. But I agree to you that he's better in Jazz as he became better with them.
Jazz has found a good player that they probably won't release unless there will be better offers not for him but for the team.

With what has been Clarkson is showing that he has upped his game, there's no doubt that the Lakers would be interested in him, however, I guess Clarkson has already found a home, there's no reason for him to transfer unless he will be offered with a salary of a superstar and that's gonna be when his contract will expire with the current team.
Yeah, I guess that's the right word, home. His contract with Jazz isn't released and just kept privately. I can't find any details about it but yeah, if a good offer comes to him, it's on him if he'll take it or not.
But if it's too good, then he'll probably not decline it unless he's really tied with the contract on Jazz. Needless to say, we're happy to see him showing the performance that we all want to see from him.

Actually the contract is not confidential since you can search his signed years and salary signed with Jazz, read this https://www.spotrac.com/nba/utah-jazz/Jordan-Clarkson-15398/  also he cannot decide for it since he signed a 4 year contract and its up to the Lakers now if they offer a good piece to use for this trade to be happen but I guess Utah won't allow this to happen.

Me too, I can't miss this game although Davis is still not gonna play here. Irving and Durant will play in this game?

Do we have some reliable information on the availability of these two players?
Per betting line, Lakers is currently -2, what is the implication?
Kyrie will play. He's already warming up right now.
It will be a better game rather than Harden carrying all the load.

I don't know what lead to the Miluakee slump but they are looking terrible. No motivation to win and lacking any offensive play making capabilities. If they lose today(which seems very likely), it will be 5 games in a row for them.
WEST/EAST All-Star Starters were just announced:

Western Conference All-Star Starters: Stephen Curry, Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Kawhi Leonard, Nikola Jokic. (source)
Eastern Conference All-Star Starters: Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal, Kevin Durant, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Joel Embiid. (source)

Here is the full schedule of this year's ALL-Star game in Atlanta on 7/3/21:

🌟6:30pm/et: Taco Bell Skills Challenge and MTN DEW 3-Point Contest begins
🌟8pm/et: 70th NBA All-Star Game
🌟Halftime: AT&T Slam Dunk

Who wins, East or West? Do you see any players being snubbed?
I think West has a better lineup but I'm not going to bet on it. These games are just played for fun and until the 4th quarter, nobody takes it seriously. Hard to bet on such things and literally anyone in the lineup can decide the game if they catch fire.

Hi guys. Lakers vs. Nets -- exciting game ahead. I see a lot betting on a Nets win tonight since they've been in a 4 game win steak.

Durant's absence had been a blessing in disguise so far and resulted into more Kyrie scoring opportunities. I reckon this comes down to who plays more defense in the 2nd half.

Overall, Lakers are better defensive team but I expect a huge game from Kyrie. Teams definitely going to crush the Over on this game.

This could actually be the final of the season so who's not excited for this game ? The game should flow with Nets tonight and I'm expecting an over 234.5 and Nets to win at more than 4 points. Why I don't like Lakers in this game ? Just because they don't have AD who is so necessary for a game like this when you will have a kinda fast pace and a lot of 3 points coming towards you and you need a player like him to make Nets commit faults and so on ...

Lakers vs Nets who's excited to watch this game?

Davis is probably out and Durant could be out as well.
Why Kevin Durant, Anthony Davis are sitting out Nets vs. Lakers game

For me, this is a fair game for both as they'll miss one star for each team, but Nets still have 2 so I guess it's Irving/Harden vs James.

This is fair on offensive ends since they will miss the contribution can produce by davis but in defensive end well that's debatable for now since they have harrel and gasol as well other quality guys who can give a good defensive match up on their roosters as Nets don't have a legit defender yet so most provably they will still be dominated by lakers at this game. Although we cannot give the accurate result but I'm on side of Lakers at this match up.

I'm afraid we will see the old scenario that the Nets have been dominated in rebounding, I hope it will not happen in this game as I have already put my bet on the Nets to win in this game. Nets IMO have already adjusted as they keep winning lately and that's the reason why I back them to win.
