I do not think that Nets are as good as people make them out to be. Look at the last game, KD and Irving was still missing games, not that it was anything serious, it was tracing and other silly stuff, they are not injured thankfully, but it was funny that Harden was carrying Rockets and got tired of it and got traded to Nets and started carrying them, he is the player that missed the least amount of games since he got to Nets, that's funny to me.

In the end they are a brand new team with nearly zero depth, so much zero depth that they could actually get better players for starting five. However they will probably get a lot of ring chasers and they will get Dinwiddle back as well, so next year with 2-3 good ring chaser free agents and injured players back, and being playing for a year together, they will be definitely a great threat to any other team. But I still see Lakers as the biggest championship contender for this year.

They haven’t played great. Remember that even the Miami Heat with the Heatles took until their second year to win a chip. It takes time to learn to play together. They might have the best assembly of talent in the league, but that doesn’t mean you’re assured a championship. I’d be surprised if they won this year, but they’re my favorites to win next year. Even the Lakers don’t seem like they’ve got it all figured out and they’ve had LeBron for over 2 years now.

Zion Williamson and James Harden were the stories yesterday...  Zion is a monster.  I hope he can stay healthy.  I think he's the most dominant player since Shaq.

James Harden yesterday hitting a game winner to put my Suns to bed was fun to watch.  His teammates seemed genuinely happy for him.  I also found it interesting that after all that Kyrie talk about how he finally has another person on his team who can hit a game winner (obvious shot at LeBron), it was Harden and not KD (injured) or Kyrie himself that took the shot...

I’m glad Anthony Davis’ injury doesn’t appear to be overly serious. I think LeBron can carry the Lakers by himself for a few weeks while AD recovers. As long as that team is healthy by the playoffs they should be fine. I don’t like that people’s first reaction was that the Nets will win the title...

We will see him soon as according to the news Lakers’ Anthony Davis gets MRI; report indicates he could miss weeks.

At least weeks only, not the entire season, I know he will be okay soon and he can help the Lakers to win more games again.
Per MRI, there was no rupture or any serious injury, so Lakers fans, we should not worry on the Lakers back to back championship campaign as they are still here.

Good news for those Davis and Lakers fans out there for such confirmation that he wont really be missing out the entire season due to his injury.

You would really be expecting lots of talk and presumptions that Nets will be taking the spot? Not surprising but just like what been said above ^ ill be still making out considerations for this team.

Missing out few weeks wont really be a big problem for Lebron and the rest of the team though.

It a tremendous game with a tremendous comeback, I have just watched the highlight and This game was lit and Harden is firing up, without the help of Kyrie and Durant, I guess their coach wants a new approach in not letting Kyrie and Durant play.

Looking forward to this game and Brooklyn on top  of everything.,

I'm taking the money line on the nets in that one for sure.  I think if the nets start pouring it on you will see the Lakers play their second team a lot.  They aren't trying to put lebron to the brink mid season.  This is the part of the season where LBJ throws it in cruise control too.  He knows he has to play more games than most of the teams he is playing against.  And with Davis out take the loss...

Hi guys, can we also talk about the Portland Trail Blazers? have we seen how good they are even without CJ?

As I checked the standings https://www.nba.com/standings, I'm surprised that they are already in the number 4 spot, and thanks to the brilliance of the underrated Damian Lillard, the Dame Time. Anyone here expect they'll boost their standing this way?
They are now at 5 winning streak.
Trail Blazers could defeat strong teams like 76ers and Mavs.
Let's see if they can continue this run for another 5 wins.
It's said that CJ will miss two more weeks minimum but Dame could not just idly wait and still trying to be aggressive on the offensive end.
4/5 games with 30+ points. You cannot leave this sharpshooter behind the 3 point line.

If Dame gets it going. He's unstoppable. McCollum's loss wasnt felt because Nassir Little slipped right into the squad and is doing a great job.  McCollum will be out for min. 2 weeks so, Little has a good chance to prove himself as starter. It was a good team effort by the Trailblazers with Kanter having a massive 21 rebounds, Corvington with 5 blocks, Trent and Simons with 19 and 15 respectively.

That was a complete stats of the game, and yes, I love the Blazers now, they are playing as a real team and win as a team. Lillard is still clutch, they beat the Mavericks prior to their last game and that was really an impressive game by them, Luka cried in that game, lol.

Damn, you are right, we did not see this good Trail Blazers team lead by Damian Lillard.
Personally, I thought they will struggle when they loss CJ McCollum and they really did, but it was just a short period of time, they are now good.

They are 8-2 in their last 10 games and currently have a 5 winning streak, really impressive as a team.

Anthony, Trent Jr. and Kanter these are some role players that are contributing.

At the game today, they won and Kanter had 21 rebounds, 7 of that are offensive rebounds.

Watching Pelicans vs Grizzlies.
Both are hungry for a win. But I think the Pelicans are starving to end the losing streak. 4th if they lose again in this game.

After Pelicans lost 3 games in a row, they had a wonderful performance against Grizzlies and got a very nice win, 144-113. Zion had a great performance that he had 31 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists. J. Morant was the Grizzlies' best and he had 28 points, 7 rebounds, 8 assists.

Yeah, they badly need that one earlier because they're not doing so well in their last few games. Thankfully they managed to get this one easy because they even made a franchise record with that score. Williamson still not at his full prime. this is what most of the NBA legends have experienced in their early career. This man is on another level and can put the whole court into something entertaining to watch especially when he gives it all of his power to dunk.

These are the MVP's of their own team. Ja Morant won the ROY where for me it's suppose to be Zion if he was not injured last season that give him limited number of games only. This a great battle for individual players but NO Pelicans was just too much in this game.

Anybody see that Caruso chase down block after LeBron James turned the ball over? It’s those sort of highlights that make me love the guy. He’s constantly showing his incredible athleticism in unexpected ways. They’re comparing it to the LeBron block on Iggy in the Finals.  Cheesy
Yeah, Lebron James have made a lot of chase down block in the past, but I wouldn't say it's comparable to him blocking Iggy in the finals. Half bald, half amazing, probably he can make a point to be defensive candidate of the year though?

Yeah, I think he will be in controlled minutes per game to give him more rest.
That's better than putting players in load management.  Grin

Coach and players needs to adjust with AD, if they wanted him to be more healthier incoming next round
they need to give him enough rest even he already playing back after this injury to prevent more damages,
AD really a big factor of Lakers rally but this time he might be needed good time management from the rotation.

Pelicans do manage to win this one with a huge margin, Williamson leads this one with 31 points. They prevent
the 4th losing streak loses.

I'm happy the injury is not that serious but they have to be careful now, if they rush Anthony to the floor this time it will cost them big, the best is to rest Anthony since the backup Center is doing a great job, and will give AD more time to rest, still a lot of games through the regular season, it will be wise for the lakers to prepare him for the playoffs, not regular-season games.
