Curry could be one of the if not the best player in the league but dude is a three point shooter, he can't just make the team amazing all by himself.

Now, Klay is coming back from a serious injury, and he is known to be a great defender and helps out steph with hardest person to guard on other team so that steph doesn't have to, but if his lateral is not what it used to be that means Klay will not be as good as he used to be, Draymond on the other hand hasn't played like Draymond in few years, past 2 years with Durant getting more control over the team, Dray had to side step a bit, will he make a comeback and be how he was?

Basically, GSW could still be an amazing team that could beat everyone, but it is not going to be "gsw will win 100% for sure" season ever again, even in some of those 100% sure seasons they lost to cavs and toronto as well, toronto due to injury of course.

This was tweeted July 5, so it's not a fresh news, but I think Bam Adebayo is part of the players who got positive with covid-19.
Yeah, that's more than a week from now, especially those first and second unnamed players are more than 14 days and possibly beaten the covid virus now.

Here's some article about that.

Missing players revealed: Bam Adebayo, Kendrick Nunn away from Heat, likely COVID absentees
Quote

The Miami Heat held their first team workout since mid-March on Friday, with the session coming in the NBA’s “bubble” near Orlando and without center Bam Adebayo and guard Kendrick Nunn.

Bam Adebayo and guard Kendrick Nunn are missing in the practice, so we have a hint already.
That's most likely could be the case, if so, they'll still be able to make it in the bubble in Orlando. And Heat can be a full team making some trouble in the League as I've think they're in the perfect shape this season.

We have the same question but this is a 2nd violation already listed, maybe let's ask the organizers, why would they allow a player to leave the venue?
That's the question need to be addressed and I think organizers are also at fault here not doing their parts.

I think being a security staff, they are also fan of the players so they just allowed it to happen as a favor given to their idol.
I don't think they have to do that besides they are paid to do their jobs rightfully and if the higher-ups told them what their jobs are then they should have abode on it, they should set aside idolizing for a moment than breaking the protocols because they may be sanctioned as well.

By the way, what can you say about this article? https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/29456878/nba-restart-x-factors-eight-players-big-questions I think he has some good points there. Check it out.

Woo, why some of them making the situation worse and don't just abide the simple rules given to them?
 Huh

My point.
You hed been given a chance. Why waste it?
Its not like prison. You still have the alternative to pick what you want
Why go so far for deliveries?
Are you not that comfortable with what they give?
Is it something your stomach cannot take in?
Isn't it better than not having a job? Which most people are longing for.

 Huh

I also often ask myself this question.

Sometimes I justify this by the fact that there have always been people in the history of mankind who could not follow the rules and something terrible happened.
I don't even know. As for the delivery, it's possible about cravings and he wants to eat something new that's not being provided to them.

Woo, why some of them making the situation worse and don't just abide the simple rules given to them?

I think that should be answered first, as these players before they travel to Orlando have gone in many tests just to insure their real status, but when they are already in the venue the weak security measures might ruined everything.
The security staffs that are on duty must be asked why did they allowed someone to get out while it's part of the rules that no one must go out. I think being a security staff, they are also fan of the players so they just allowed it to happen as a favor given to their idol.

Do you guys agree with this?

A Healthy Stephen Curry Is Still the NBA's Best Player

Quote
Stephen Curry is the best player in the NBA.

There. I said it.

Curry was left off Bleacher Report's top 100 players project because of his injury-plagued 2019-20 campaign. He might have been top-five if he didn't miss nearly the entire year, but he belongs at the very top of the list going into next season.

If Curry gets back in shape, will the GSW will become the best team in the NBA again?
I mean, if he is the best player, he can do that without Durant and just like the old days, the Warriors will always rule.

Thoughts on that.

It is really possible, they can regain their former glory. But without Durant this can be very difficult. One strong player is good, but a team is needed.

Warriors never just rely on Curry alone, they are good as a team, if some teams have a big three they also have a big 3 and that is Curry, Thompson, and Green. If you still remember, Warriors had a good run in the past which they finished the 2015-16 season with a big success making a history with a record of 73 wins, and they dominated the NBA that time, again, I like to emphasize that they have the success before Durant came.

Holmes is actually the second to do it.
Why they can't just discipline themselves just for now? It had not even taken a month and they are already like kids being hard-headed.
Worse, it's not like an emergency or a medical supply.

That is why there's a rule to follow and sanction to be given for those who violate the rules because by nature, there are really people who are good in not following the rules, but this should already caught the attention of everyone, and it will more if these two will be given a serious sanction.

There is another player that's in quarantine. Sacramento Kings' Holmes after picking up a delivery.

Kings' Richaun Holmes placed in quarantine after breaking NBA bubble for food delivery

What would be the sanction then?  Placing in quarantine is not enough, he has violated the rules so he needs to face a sanction as it's not good to tolerate this kind of behavior when the success of the return of the NBA is always at stake.
The first thing that was on my mind after reading it.
Are there no security guards there that will prevent this from happening again?
They should isolate themselves for their own safety and yet they cannot even stop their urge for food outside.

Quote
Richaun Holmes just put himself in quarantine for dinner. The Sacramento Kings forward announced on Monday that the NBA placed him in quarantine after he left the Disney World bubble to pick up food delivery.

I thought it's not allowed.
It should not be. All food will be served from the hotel.
Quote
Holmes is the second player forced into quarantine after breaking the NBA’s bubble boundaries. Houston Rockets forward Bruno Caboclo reportedly “inadvertently” broke the bubble and has been quarantined inside his hotel room for eight days.

It’s not clear if Caboclo was also seeking an upgrade over the NBA bubble menu.
Holmes is actually the second to do it.

Per written in the article, the sanction would be.

This is the 2nd incident, so probably the organization has to be more strict so it will not happen again, removal from the campus might be good for these violators, sorry for being harsh, but they have no idea how big their offense is, they are taking things lightly so they should learn.

It's not really allowed that's why there's a violation, and he will be sanction for that one as you can see in the post above.

Rockets can win without Westbrook but they are better with Westbrook.
When the season resume, it's only for the positioning and give chance for those who will quality in the last spot especially in the West, but looking at the ranking, Rockets are already ensured with a playoff status so it's not necessary that westbrook will play when the season resume.

https://www.espn.com/nba/standings

note : teams with x-marked are teams qualified for the playoffs.
Ohh yeah, I forgot about the format (my memory don't serve me right). Cheesy

With that said. WB just need to get back into shape before the playoffs begin.

That's the right thing to do if I'm the rockets management, I don't want to risk him playing when games are no bearing at all, unless they are looking for a higher ranking which I doubt they would since home court advantage is not vital anymore.

Russell Westbrook is the fourth All-Star, along with Nikola Jokic, Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert, to have tested positive for coronavirus this season. Two more All-Stars, James Harden and Bam Adebayo, have not joined the bubble for undisclosed reasons.

Another one?.. I hope so because Bam has been doing really well this season but if he is that one, then no worries since Heat is also already qualified in the playoffs.

I'm sure Westbrook can still play if he is allowed, this guy is super human, he might get tested but it should not affect him.

According to some article that has been posted recently, a player that will be infected with covid-19 will be out at least a minimum of 2 weeks, and of course it would not be easy to come back as training is necessary for a player to get back in shape, it's just bad for Westbrook but anyway at least this happened before the resumption of the season.

Well, yeah. He's still maybe able to play, but first he needs to get tested again for atleast 2 times after two weeks of his quarantined.

In other cases, it lasts to 2 or more weeks, depends on the immunse system of the carrier. Hopefully, with 16 days left before the NBA resume, WB should beat the virus before the resume day comes. Smiley

Every games is very crucial, and without WB it's gonna be a tough fight for Houston.
