Oh man. What an unfortunate news for Brooklyn Nets team and fans out there.

Nets' DeAndre Jordan tests positive for coronavirus, will not join team at Disney

They are already short-handed this season so I think it's better not to push for the goal. So unfortunate and they have nothing to do.

But the good thing is, their remaining players will able to test their skills without their main gunners at the playoffs if they can able to maintain their current W/L record.

Prepare and come back next season as a newly improved team now that their star players will now play.

Nuggets have mathematical chance at 1 seed in Western Conference

"Denver also has a mathematical chance at the No. 1 seed out West – but would need to go 8-0 and have the Lakers go 0-8 for that to happen"

I will give a 0% chance for this to happen.

Unfortunately, another star player added in the list of players positive in covid-19.

Here's the story.

Nets' Spencer Dinwiddie Tested Positive for COVID-19; NBA Restart Status Unclear

Bad news, indeed.  Undecided
One of their offensive guys and also plays with a hustle.
If Irving will not play then it will depend on LeVert and Harris. They will be forced to push more offense for the team if they still want to win games from the 8 game tournament before Dinwiddie goes back for the playoffs.
Also hoping he could survive the sickness.

On JR Smith signing with the Lakers, not sure if it's a good news, I'll leave that up to you guys to judge.

The Lakers has a big chance to reach in the WCF, then the Finals if they will be more successful, but they will not be facing the warriors anymore, lol.. so I think he will not messed up this time, and I also think he won't get the average minutes he is getting in Cleveland Cavaliers.

I don't think so.  Grin
If pressure sinks in, he could mess up with any team they are against.  Cheesy

PG13 is no doubt on a star level as well, but I also don't understand myself, when he got injured and though had recovered fully now, my confident on him was never the same anymore.
I think he even improved on his shooting ability special on the 2018 - 2019th season of the NBA as per stat.

It's not about the improvement, I just thought anytime he can be injured again as for me he is already fragile, sorry to say this, it's just my opinion.
Same with DRose, I'm afraid that when PG will be injured again, he would struggle to claim his status again.

Good thing now that he has learn to be more accurate shooting outside, that would take him away from driving into the basket and he just need to be more careful now as if 2nd injury will happen, he might not be able to recover well. Sorry again,...

Maybe one of the reasons why PG13 and Westbrook did not worth with the OKC is because while PG13 has improve his shooting, Westrbook also struggle with his shooting that very season.
You don't have to feel sorry that's understandable but I think he got the rhythm now and hope greediness won't hit him going boards as well as he always keep maintaining the health of his feet. He even got selected for the MVP category the last year because of the shooting percentage he showed on the league I think he was 3rd on the 3 point percentage that season.

Another bad news for the NBA, Spencer Dinwiddie is playing the best season of his NBA career and it's not good if they'll missed the season.
Their standing is good, but they still needs to win some games and they need a good PG, so hopefully Irving would play and think of helping his team as that's what he is paid to do.

his stats this season is pretty impressive :

It was really unfortunate, teams who are still fighting for a playoff spot really needs their star players.
Thanks for sharing that stats, we can see the big improvement of his stats, his numbers are ascending, so they need someone to provide that average PPG per game for their team, that's why I've mentioned in my other post that Irving is really needed when the season resume.

how could I ever respect someone who switched sides after losing to a 73-9 team on the last game and decided that the easiest way to get a ring would be to play for them?
Maybe he doesn't want to play with Westbrook anymore and he received a good offer from the GSW.

At least we still have time to see him proving again that he doesn't need to play with a super team to win a championship and hopefully we can see him fully healthy once again playing with the Nets, if he can bring success to the Nets then maybe that would ease some doubt from the people that he is a real champion.

Actually LBJ did the same, when he keeps trying to win a championship with the Cavaliers and he failed every time, he decided to pair with Wade and Chris Bosh, and their they won a championship together, I think that was 2 times in Heat, and he comes back with the Cavaliers and create his own.

So if people respect Lebron, Durant deserve some respect as well.

I would never say that Durant is not a good player, he is a great player, dude definitely deserves to be one of the best players in the whole league right now, specially when we are talking about offense, Durant is just on whole another level and can score at will.

However one thing bugs me off, when you talk about his achievements all of them looks awesome except two of them, two time champion and two time fmvp, well fmvp could be a major thing since he won it over Curry on Curry's team which is quite achievement but you only get it if you win the championship and we all know that Durant went to a 73-9 team, how could I ever respect someone who switched sides after losing to a 73-9 team on the last game and decided that the easiest way to get a ring would be to play for them? Aside from those two accomplishments all of his accolades are surreal and amazing.

If PG has been the same as he was just like what he did on Indiana he should have been better by now, even best. I appreciate the lad even what has happened during that scrimmage and just a few months he already made a return to the NBA. They'll have been teammates long ago with Kawhi on Indiana just happens Kawhi been traded with George Hill.

He was a monster back then.
If only that tragedy didn't happen we might be looking at a new MVP and a Finals game with Indiana in it. Smiley
But, he did prove that their medical staff is really good.
I thought he wont come back anymore since it was really a bad injury.
The best part is how he controlled the mental recovery.

My Top List.
1. Leonard
2. Klay Thompson
3. KD
4. Lebron
5. Steph

There's no doubt Kevin Durant will be a future Hall of Famer because he already achieved a lot of things in his career as an NBA player. Nevertheless, he is one of the best players in his prime if not for the wrong timing injury last year Raptors will have a hard time claiming the championship because of this man. Anyway, becoming a Hall of Famer is base on what have you done in your career and Durant proved that he has more to go after this pandemic ends.

Next to Lebron might be PG13.

I might go with PG as well. He's too good to not be included on the list.
You guys pickin' your best players, and so here's mine:
  • LeBron
  • Kawhi
  • Durant
  • Luka
  • Dame

I have more to include but these guys were on my top list as of now. Don't get me wrong, there were players who might be better than them in your opinion, and I respect that  Cheesy.

I also like to add, my favorite is DROSE, though I miss the old DROSE but I'm still a fan.
Rose might not be as athletic as he was before but the difference on his stats compared to what he had before isn't bad though.

Source: https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/rosede01.html

He's playing smarter and safe now. What I'm hoping for him now, is to stay healthy as long as he could ('cause we all know that he don't have that strong body anymore), so that leaving the league won't ever cross his mind again  Cry. Won't ever forget his career high 50pt game with Minnesota, makes me emotional at some point as I witnessed his entire journey.

Though underrated I'd still go with my favorite player on the first spot. Here is what on my list.

1. Paul George
2. LeBron James
3. Kevin Durant
4. Kawhi Leonard
5. Stephen Curry

Of the active players in the NBA now, I think it's Kawhi Leonard, very quite but very dangerous as well.
He is the number 1 in my list and I would never bet against him anymore after I saw what he and his team did with the heavily favored Bucks in the last ECF.

The current team of Leonard now is better than his previous team, so I expect them to beat the best teams in the West, including LBJ of course.
Westbrook and Harden might pull a surprise in the West, but I believe if ever they'll face the Clippers, they would still lose.

I don't really like the Harden and Westbrook style. I don't know why.
Maybe because of bad entertainment just like I said.

I like Westbrook over harden as he can bring some energy in the floor for his teammates, pair him with a superstar like Lebron, the team might become a championship contender.

My top NBA players list is the following:

James Lebron
Leonard Kawhi
Giannis Antetokounmpo
James Harden

Why Durant is not included?

I thought he is one of the best in the NBA.

Well, I can't argue that is your picks, and it's your personal opinion..Maybe we can also add westbrook to the list since he once won an MVP award and this guy is very good that could average a tripple double if he wants too, now, the stats has dropped because he paired with James Harden.
I guess we all differ with our picks.
Depends on how you are entertained by these players.

Mine is,
1. Kawhi
2. Durant
3. Curry
4. Irving
5. Lebron

I am a fan of defensive players first then guards.  Grin
Lebron is an exception though since he can score by himself using his power.
But if I will continue the list you might all get shocked and argue.  Grin
Next to Lebron might be PG13.
