All we know right now is Javale Mcgee who tested negative and that must be a big relief for him. I doubt it is Lebron but with this secrecy that who has corona and who doesn't I am not entirely sure if this is safe for them or good PR. I mean who would want to be known as the NBA player who has corona?

Nobody would want that, so they are probably in hiding at their home and in isolation already, there is nothing else they can do about this and they must be feeling upset about the chances of infecting others anyway, when you name them you change nothing but just hurt their name with associating it with corona. I know nobody should be thinking about PR right now in a situation like this but if the players are doing everything they can about this, there is no reason they can't hide their name as well.

Former NBA player has something to say against Trump.

Jeremy Lin slams Donald Trump's 'racism' in calling coronavirus 'Chinese virus'
Well, that is nothing new.  Grin
Being racist is what is flowing in this guys veins. It ain't blood anymore.  Grin

Also, the latest news says that corona virus now penetrating in the western countries while in China, its already under control.
https://ph.yahoo.com/news/world-feared-china-over-coronavirus-185251823.html

Yeah, I have heard about that. It seems like they took care of what they have started but only in their country.
If this continue then it is good.
I suppose they will be aiding countries afterwards. I just hope so.

More NBA players are getting the virus, the good thing is not the whole team is being infected by it.
You can prove there is no chemistry yet.  Cheesy Just kidding.
I really miss NBA now.

Do we have any updates on the two Laker players who test positive for the covid-19?
I didn't find any from the internet. I think they're now hiding names or is it just the Lakers management?
I think so, they have no intention of telling us the names of those who are infected, otherwise, they would have already announce it, I don't know what's the reason while other teams are publicly informing us about their players who are positive with Covid-19.

On the worst side of the NBA right now is, there seem to have multiple staff that has been tested positive as well, and I guess the number of players that will come out positive will eventually rise after all of them are done testing.
Doe's Adam Silver continue his plan on implementing an ASG like exhibition game amidst the corona virus crisis?
It's not final yet, let's wait for the final announcement, but the way its happening right now, I doubt he will be able to realize that plan.

Not a surprising thing if those words come out on Trumps mouth. Is it something new?
Intentional or not, this shouldnt really put too much attention.

How would this season would resume when more and more of the players are infected with the virus.
I think the organization despite being optimistic are just fighting on a slim chance here to resume the season.
Im not already expecting that the season would resume as early as possible.Situation becomes worst as day goes by
which it can been seen on numbers growing for those players who test positive with this virus.
Its a stressing thing for those people who are hoping for the season to be resumed.

NBA claps back at NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio for attacking Nets getting coronavirus tests

“Using the test results, we were able to take immediate precautions and strictly isolate the players who tested positive,” the statement continued. “If we had waited for players to exhibit symptoms, they might have continued to pose a risk to their family, friends and the public. Our hope is that by drawing attention to the critical need for testing asymptomatic positive carriers, we can begin to contain the spread and save lives.”

That's another addition and hopefully that will stop from their but we can't also discount the possibility that their immediate families might be infected as well. I read the article you shared, but why is the Lakers organization does not name the 2 Lakers players who are positive with COVID-19?

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio criticizes "wealthy" NBA teams for coronavirus tests

"We wish them a speedy recovery," de Blasio tweeted shortly after the Nets' announcement. "But, with all due respect, an entire NBA team should NOT get tested for COVID-19 while there are critically ill patients waiting to be tested. Tests should not be for the wealthy, but for the sick."

https://www.cbsnews.com/news/new-york-city-mayor-bill-de-blasio-criticizes-nba-teams-access-to-covid-19-tests-four-brooklyn-nets-coronavirus/
Why shouldn't they?

If they have all the means to get tested and it's from their fund and money, why they don't deserve it? I know that there's a need for other ill patients but it's just for testing.
How about to those who interact with players that have this virus, aren't they exposed and possible to also to carry this disease. I agree with you
as  even they are healthy but they also need this test to make sure that they are not carrying this virus.

Yeah, that is what I am saying.
What if they got into a lot of sick people during their visits for them.
Somehow this could be traced when found out they have the virus and then ask them for the history into where they went.

All I am saying is, everyone should be equal in this part.
The virus is not like a simple cold, it is easily passed on.
I know what this Mayor is trying to imply. It is because the players are healthy and the virus will just die in them.
But that is not the point here.

That is kind of how capitalism works, plus they literally have corona people around them so why shouldn't they get tested as well? If teams played with each other and this virus takes 2 weeks to develop, that means almost all teams played each other in the last 2 weeks before gobert came out positive, one team plays utah, that team plays another, another plays someone else and it goes around the whole league in the two weeks. So basically anyone could be positive right now, thats why they were scared and tested.

I understand there wasn't too many test kits and I understand others wanted to use it, however teams have a lot of money and they had positive players so they used that money to make sure nobody else had it as well, it makes sense, if you had money you would test as well. If anyone wants to critize anyone, take a look at the big pharma who can make xanax a million times a day but when it comes to test kits they felt like it was too much of a burden or something, these companies all around the world working %100 to make it would basically make 8 billion test kits in a month if they wanted to, this virus has been around for 3-4 months at least (and even more I suppose) we would have over a billion test kits if they wanted it.

How could Adam Silver give any date right now, he has as much idea about this as we have and maybe corona will be gone in a year, maybe we will have to live like this for a long time, maybe leagues not only won't return this year but also can't start next year? Who knows if any of this will happen.

I see people who mock corona and underestimate it and say that by this summer it will be over and I am still in shock, I was one of the people who said this is nothing and won't be a big deal and now I see how wrong I am, to say that it is impossible for corona to continue like this for months is taking it lightly, I am not saying it will but I am saying it has a chance for it, that is why I think we all should be really careful but also do not pressure NBA to come back neither.

Because there are sicker people who need the test more then rich sports players who they dont even know if they have it
Does the local government doesn't have enough funds for the testing kits?

Wow. Why not? They should be. That is coming from a Mayor?  Huh

Physical games like basketball and others should also be one of the priorities. They are the ones who could pass it first hand. And they actually did without knowing they already have the virus.
Now, it is spreading more and they will have to track down where this players go before they were tested.
Some unwise comment coming from a political person.
Many will argue with this.

Because there are sicker people who need the test more then rich sports players who they dont even know if they have it
All are equal and everyone should be tested.
Actually this NBA players are more prone to spreading it to the sick.
What if one or two of them went to an event of NBA Cares. Who knows? Everyone needs the test kit.

There are information that China and Australia already find cure it's just need to finish their final test and hope that everything will be settled.

This is a great news, I have a feeling that the one month suspension might be halted as soon as the vaccine will be release.
Though this is not final yet, but at least it's showing some light of a positive things that would happen soon.

I'd love to see NBA to resume and finish its season.
I bet you guys feel the same. don't yah?

There are several news released that it may take a year to fully develop the vaccine which is hopefully not true since we need the vaccine urgently, the virus is spreading fast world wide and this could affect the global audience and we should keep our faith up pray for better minds to find a cure so that we will see those games coming back and life will became normal again.
