Hm, this article  got me confused, how could Jazz give Derrick Favors and Dante Exum for Kevin Love since those 2 guys already left Jazz ( Favors to Pelicans for two second-round picks in order to give Jazz more cap space and  Exum for Jordan Clarkson)?

Anyone else interested to see how will Victor Oladipo  look after big break due injury? He is supposed to come back soon, on January 29th (  supposedly the same day as Zion Williamson).
Pacers looked really good both last season and this season, and with getting their best player back they might be very dangerous on the East. I predict them deep playoff run if Oladipo can play as he did before the injury (or at least close to that).
I always preferred those smaller teams, so i will certainly try to watch more of their games.

Zion williamson is going to be playing against the San Antonio Spurs tonight!
They have been hyping this match since they released the news of his debt (though a very late one since we are half way through the season) to the league. He only played preseason games until his injury sidelined him.
I would expect many bookies will be taking advantage of this and upping the odds and adding some extra just to entice those who wouldnt normally bet on an nba match. But it does look good for a pretty good team who just needs a leader inwhich ingram hasnt been.

Both of these trades would be great but at the same time very difficult to faciliate due to high amount of salaries they have.

For Kevin Love to portland, that would be amazing for portland and with a line up of Dame-CJ-Melo-Love would be seriously amazing, they got whiteside as well but don't know what happened to him lately. Yet 29 million dollars per year is not something portland can match that easily, who could they even consider to give in return of an aging star? I am not saying Love is a bad player, in fact he would make them a good contender, yet they don't have 29 million dollar worth of puzzle they would be willing to trade for him.

Rose is more likely, its just 7.3 million dollars and I know it would be hard to convince Pistons to deal him out since noone in lakers worth 7.3 million dollars is convincing but if they can somehow do that, I am pretty sure Rose would level that team up and currently sitting at top of west, that means something.

Well it's been a great night everyone. Damian Lillard got 61 career high points. We didn't saw that coming. And don't tell me that they're just up against the warriors that's why he got that. No man, the team was blank because of how many key players that went injured and that includes CJ McCollum.
Without CJ, he needs to be hot.
Dame Time came and they cannot stop it. Scary when he is in the zone.
GSW really lacks the defense but he is just really good.

What's significant in this game was Kemba is 1-28 now against LeBron James. Since then he never get to pull of the w against the team where LBJ was in.

Is this for real?
Holy smoke it is!!!

That was a good one.

I don't think they need another star in their line up ...

you are wrong if you think Derrick Rose is still a star.  Undecided

he is no star anymore, if he'll ever play with the Lakers, he'll be in the 2nd unit, and my definition of a star belongs to the starter of a team.

He is still deadly in his part. He plays better offense so for me he is still a star he might not be suited to be teamed up with James. Rose played well with the ball in his hand and not by just receiving it and shoot which the Lakers doesn't need. Lakers need a streaky shooter to open up the lanes of Davis and the other bigmen to operate.

D Rose stats is picking up now, he has a great performance with the Pistons with an average of 18 points PPG already.
https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/r/rosede01.html

however, it's just sad to see that Pistons are not struggling but they'll eventually get the playoff spot even in the last spot when the full roster is healthy.

I don't know why they didn't win Kemba Walker to be on their team, since he's the only legit PG that could fit to the Lakers roster.
Wait... what? Kemba to fit with the Lakers as PG? hmm... maybe Kemba is a good PG but the reality is, no PG that would fit with the Lakers as long as Lebron is their, man,, it's been Lebron who's their PG, no one would take that from him.

I am afraid, Kemba would only be useless when he'll be with the Lakers.
That's the problem, as long as LeBron wanted the ball there's no chance to any PG to take over him, Rondo is a good PG but with Lebron he can't
takeover, it's good that Kemba landed to Celtics as he's performing right now  showcasing his talents. He fits playing with Tatum and Hayward
adding offensive threats.

I have read the Lakers were desperately looking for a back up PG at some point and willing to include Kuzma on the deal, but I feel like there will be no trade that'll happen for the Lakers roster now?

Kevin Love to Portland and that would be a great improvement to the team, I'll bet on them to win in the west,

Maybe this is the biggest trade this year, if Love would go with the Blazers, then they would not heavily rely on the CJ and Lillard on their offense, imagine with Love with them, a big man who can score not only in the inside but he can also shoot 3s consistently.
Love will definitely a good addition in their line up. Although i'm not hoping they will make it to Western Finals, atleast they still have a chance to take a playoff spot. Derrick Rose is also in the list and possibly landing in Lakers or Sixers. It won't be a problem for Lakers since he is on a bargain but he is more possible to land at Sixers. You know, Lebron James thing. Anyway, wether Lakers or Sixers, Rose has a chance to get a ring now. I really wanted to see this guy to have atleast 1 ring and now is the chance for him to be in a contender team.

Rose has a higher chance of getting a ring if he go to the Lakers.

As for Kevin Love, any team that will get win will be upgraded for sure specially in the middle. He will be a great asset if ever he will land on Portland. He also had that experience winning a ring, definitely a plus for Blazers.

That is if the Lakers will bring home Rose. I don't think they need another star in their line up and I believe they only need a reliable supporting cast to make it to the finals.

I don't neither think that Lakers need this kind of player. The one that used to be a superstar but now creates stats even at the MIP level. Nevertheless, imagine it. D-Rose in current form with LeBron and AD. It could be something else. And D-Rose coming back from horrifying injuries just to make it to the finals. Can you imagine it?

Something really interesting and outta this world. This is not a perfect deal but the one from our dreams, don't you think?

10 NBA Players Most Likely to Get Traded Before the Deadline

The 2019 NBA trade deadline wasn’t blockbuster-heavy -- and not nearly as dramatic as 2018, when the Cavs blew up their roster in the name of clinging to LeBron -- but it did feature a number of noteworthy names heading to new teams. Markelle Fultz, Nikola Mirotic, Harrison Barnes, and Iman Shumpert were among those NBA players who changed addresses.

https://www.complex.com/sports/2020/01/nba-trade-deadline-players-likely-to-be-traded/andre-drummond

Something to watch for, this is the moment that I am waiting and see if these poor teams can still catch up with the remaining games of the season.

Derrick Rose to be traded again, wow.. how many teams he already played so far?

Markieff Morris - this guy is good, he will be useful for the Rockets, (this team needs another scorer)

Kevin Love to Portland and that would be a great improvement to the team, I'll bet on them to win in the west,

It is going to be wild West when this guy Kevin Love land on the West.
Here are some good points.

https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2843117-realistic-trade-packages-and-landings-spots-for-kevin-love#slide5

But I would really bet that it would be Suns which he will land.
Portland already made a good bet with Ariza and also successfully releasing a lot of tax.
They might stay with that for now and try to make something out of it.

Trade deadline is almost over. They will need to decide now.
This is going to be another edit for NBA 2k20 game.  Grin

Jazz would be a lucky recipient if they will get Love, but the Jazz right now are already moving at the right direction... who would they trade for K. Love?

edit : i see it, according to the link shared above.

Quote
Cavaliers receive : F/C Derrick Favors, PG Dante Exum, 2022 first-round pick (top-10 protected)

I'm okay with the trade, seems favorable for the Jazz

Rose seem to be a great contributor to the Pistons but this team seems to have no chance of getting into the playoffs this season, so it would be a blessing if DRose will be traded to the Lakers, the question is who will the Lakers send for him?

Agree, they will also have another scoring options, instead of relying heavily on CJ and Lillard to some extend to Anthony. I mean Kevin is still young, at 30's and can still compete with young power forwards we have right now.

And as you have said, he also evolved with 3's, shooting consistently, day in day out.

Right, it would be a big improvement on the Blazer's lineup. Since Love can dominate the inside, Lillard and CJ can focus on scoring and playmaking.
