Luka definitely deserves the MVP honours this year, I don't know how long he missed total honestly but it feels like he just went and came back in a jiff (or time passed very quickly) so I think he totally deserves to be in contention for something like MVP. I am not saying he should get it %100, giannis is good, harden is good, even lebron is great this year and actually cares but if you actually put Doncic as the new MVP you could have more people hyped and get europeans to watch even more NBA, its like a marketing thing, Giannis was "greek" but we all know he is not greek at all, he was just an immigrant, Doncic is actually european and could change a lot of stuff.

Yeah, it will be a free advertisement for them.
With that more people will be watching the league and also players will try their best to be in the same league as Luka since he got the MVP at a young age.
With the new paid application by now NBA could make more money receiving more supporters in Europe. They have their own league there but even with that if they will know that the management of NBA is fair with everyone or every nationality then it might be fruitful.

3 big dogs won today.. Anyone here who were able to make some money on the 3?

Wizards +13 - won against the Denver Nuggets by 14 points.

Memphis +10 - won against the Clippers by 26 points (this one is crazy)

Charlotte +11.5  - won against the Mavericks by 3 points in OT.

I only got Wizards game but for another 2 i lost where i do bet for Clippers and Dallas.I didnt expect for that clippers game they got smoked by Grizzlies.lol

For Mavs where it is somewhat thrilling where they do go overtime. If that last 3 point attempt by luka didnt missed out then it is surely settled.Well lets move on. 1/3 on this one.

Consider yourself lucky.
Those are 3 top teams in the West and yet they are still being outplayed by those 3.
Getting 1 is better than getting nothing.

Looks like Vegas did win on this one though.  Grin
I watched the Clippers game. Although Paul George is not there, Kawhi still made a huge number and so does Lou Williams and Harrell but they still fell short.

Did you bet on the Wizards to win straight up or ATS?
Either way, you win both.

Sadly its only a straight up.Im not really that confident when it comes to ATS but it isnt bad though. Grin

Clippers and Dallas both for handicapped seems to be more advantage, but the outcome didn't favor those who bets for this teams. Sad but true there's always a bad games for each teams and players and when the underdog give their best for sure they'll be able to disappoint the favorites and snatch the
win.
We already saw underdog teams beaten up a top rank ones for how many times. So these situations isnt surprising.

Clippers game was too early in my timezone, so usually I would not be able to bet on them.

This one is a cool game, Dallas lose at home again, not new to them this season, they actually does not have an impressive home record, they are only 10-8 now while they are 12-5 on the road, 2nd best in the west as Lakers got 15-3.

by the way, Luka got another triple double.

12 rebounds, 10 assists, and 39 points.

This was rather unexpected. I have not bet and watched today's game but if I did I am sure I would have lost a lot. I always go to favorites and these 3 are top teams. How could the 3 top teams all lose on the same day?

WOW!!!!

I havent watched any of this game. Holy molly. I didnt think it could end up like this.
Thank God I didn't bet for anything this day since I went outside. Saved my freaking ass.

Memphis though with 26 points lead? Yeah that is crazy.
Going to watch some highlights later on. Just cannot believe it.

With the handicap on Dallas against Charlotte, I think even if the Dallas won, the bettors will still win for Charlotte. The game was close even if Doncic made another triple double but still they lost. Charlotte played really well on the defensive end that that's the key for their win today.

That's really frustrating for the bettors who entrust their handicap for this teams especially with Clippers that huge leads by Memphis kills the parlay of 1.16 odd ML for clippers.
Adding to this, Hawks also won against the Pacers not sure the handicapped but it's also a good win to anyone who bet for this team.

Most of us bets on the favorites, and yes it would really kill those parlays as we think with that high - by the favorite team, they could easily win the game, the problem is only to cover the high spread but it was the opposite of our expectation that happens.

Next time, let's try to parlay the underdog also, they give better return though chances are low, but things like this happens a lot.

Here are the recent rankings of the current MVP race ladder:
~
If Luka didn't get an ankle injury last month, there is still a chance that he is on the top spot right now. His numbers right now are slightly lower compare to his first few games at the start of the season but still it is still an MVP numbers. I know how Giannis is playing right now in Bucks but I'd like to see a Rookie of the Year last season and now he is the MVP of the league Cheesy.

NBA Rookie Power Rankings: Michael Porter Jr. climbs the rankings to claim the No. 1 spot

Porter Jr. has been given more opportunity in Denver and is making the most of it
~
~
This is a draft steal from the 2018 draft. Many are talking about him already but many teams are also doubting because of his injury. Only the Nuggets have the guts to sign this player and now he is returning the favor by showing his skills in his past games. If this player will be given more minutes or he will be a starting throughout the season, I'd bet him as the ROTY over Morant. Porter is the secret weapon of Nuggets and I hope he will not be injured again.

The Lakers have been frustrating in games where they are killing teams in the first half but in the second half they can't go on with it.

They don't need to if they already think they can win the game, they might not be considering the point spread, if they win they will but they don't care about us. Their latest game against the Pelicans, I was thinking this will cover easily but they seemed to stop playing in the 2nd half so that resulted to a push. Cry

Its good for live betting if that's something you like to do like myself as I have been doing well taking the other team to cover the big spreads. The Lakers really need to work on this so they can give AD and LeBron a rest in the 4th quarters and their bench needs to do more to help out.

We saw how devastating their loss without Lebron, so literally this Lakers now relies heavily on Lebron and AD but mostly Lebron as he is the facilitator.

When we talk about rookie of the season, do you really think that Zion could make a comeback and get it? I don't know how many games you have to play to be considered and he already missed a lot of games but he is training now and getting some 5v5 practice which means it is matter of time for him to make a comeback, if he makes that comeback this month and plays very well rest of the season without missing a game, would he be even eligible? If so, would he play good enough to become rookie of the year?

We all know he was always a good player and was easily the number one prospect but I doubt a rookie could make THAT much noise in half a season, if he does that means all the attention he got was warranted and he is actually as good as people think he is but I still doubt he is at that level yet, surely has some athletic and genetically awesomeness to him and some talent but not "play half a season and still beat out all other rookies" level of greatness.
Yep, I guess Zion will come back stronger than ever. I mean, it's not a torn ACL or injuries that could take a seasonal break. This is why I guess that he will come back and pursue his NBA dream. But, I'm also worried about his physique. He's always getting injuries even when he is in college. And if you think that he missed a lot of practice. Think of what Kobe, Gay, Rose did. When they had the worst injury a player could get. They made a comeback after that. Once you got in the mode it will never stop haunting you. Their love for the game probably will bring them back.

Its always a risky thing to implement a rookie to your already working system. Denver has been going better and better in the past 5 years and they crowned it last year with going to second round and almost going to conference finals as well thanks to great seeding, they beat Spurs very difficulty on a 7 game series and the Blazers series went to 7 game too if I am not wrong which means they could have beat them as well if things went a bit right. Now to change all of that and putting a rookie in just because he is good is always a difficult decision however Mike Malone is a marvelous development coach who built this young team so I am sure he knows what he is doing this time around with putting Porter in as well.
Nuggets is a silent contender from the west side, they are very quite but effective when playing like what you have said the coach have the big
influence in developing the team, each players have it's own roles, chemistry are being developed and that's how things works. We don't know
what the coach are seeing but for sure he's doing his best to make a good impact to the team.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-rookie-power-rankings-michael-porter-jr-climbs-the-rankings-to-claim-the-no-1-spot/

Whoa! What happened to Ja Morant?
Here is to add more about this glimpse of potential ROTY for Michael Porter Jr.

https://www.nba.com/rookie-ladder

I am happy for Denver. They have been looking for that secret weapon and it seems to be getting fruitful now.
Gary Harris, Murray and now the rookie Porter Jr. can make a scary trio when Malone decides to put them all in the floor at the same time.
It will be a scary Nuggets. I might bite it if crunchy.  Grin

The Nuggets has a pretty good system that's why they give every opponents they have in the playoffs a headache. Though they have the ROY candidate, they still can't make it to the finals this season but I think 4-5 seasons more they can be on top of the standings.

That's too way far mate, hopefully it wouldn't take any longer in order for them to experience being champion once in their lifetime career. However, this season the survey was visibly going under Lakers team. Though it was not yet happening, predictions is nearly 30% impact compared to what reality is.
