Its sad that David Stern passed away, many remember him not so well because of his early 2000 moments where he decided to make NBA more "appealing" and stopped Allen Iverson from wearing "hood" clothes, he was seen as a Racist commissioner because of that move and remembered like that. Reality is that he took over just when Bird and Magic was getting in and he made NBA from a "not so well known" game to a situation where everyboyd knows and loves in the whole world without exception. NBA finals were "tape delayed" which means the finals were played and taped and than aired on TV whenever tv station seemed fit, it wasn't liked at that level, when David Stern left his position NBA was everywhere in the whole world. Adam Silver is a great comissioner and I love him but without David Stern we wouldn't have basketball as it is in the whole world today. In many countries people don't know the names of baseball players or NFL players, some do but majorly they are not known that much, EVERYONE knows who lebron james is, thats all thanks to David Stern.

 May him rest in peace.

Former NBA commissioner David Stern died from brain hemmorhage at the age of 77
link

He had huge impact on the NBA. When he took over back in 1984 league had only 23 teams and average attendance of about 11k. When he ended his tenure in 2014 league had 30 teams and attendance between 17-18k. So I would say that he did good job during those years.

I can still remember his voice.
Rest in peace for the face of the NBA before.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs Charlotte Hornets tomorrow at 2.11 in the Money line. But -3.5 at the score.
Without Clarkson anymore and Exum not making much contribution for the Cavs this bet will be at risk.  Undecided

Dallas Mavericks though might be a good pick at -7.5 vs the Brooklyn Nets.
Money line is 1.90. Yes, I will bet for this.

The way the knicks handled the nets, I think dallas at 7.5 is a pretty good bet.  Nets will not be able to keep their heads above water without kyrie for much longer.  Spencer has been good but not enough to keep the nets relevant.  Dallas by 15 might be a reality.  119-104 dallas wins this one.

On the other hand, I didn't expect OKC to be this better with just adding Chris Paul in their roster and Gallinari.
Both are team mates in Clippers and now they got bonded again. I guess that is also a plus for OKC.

Sorry I can't remember they were teammates, can you tell me what season they were teammates.

What I remember only is that the Clippers with Chris Paul, Blake Griffin, Deandre Jordan, Jamal Crawford, and JJ Reddick, they are one of my favorite teams in the past.
That was a serious contender team back in the day, clippers gone through a very bad case of players being injured right at the worst possible times. I mean that team with big three and some amazing help were capable of beating any team in the league but also were very injury prone and eventually they got older and older and had to stop because their talents weren't as good as it used to be, I don't remember if CP3 was the first to go or Blake was but they both bailed on that team eventually since they couldn't get any better at all with age, they were getting worse but at their peak they were just unbelievable, could go toe to toe with any major team of their era. OKC is not only good because of CP3 tho, they are somehow all playing well beyond their talents, no idea how.

Yes they were teammates in NBA 2017-2018 season when Harrell wasn't as outstanding as his performance this year.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/teams/LAC/2018.html
They had a pretty solid line up with Tobias and Blake in it, too bad they got eliminated in the 1st round by the GSW.

On the other hand, Lakers was playing an awful 4th quarter against the Suns lol.
Paul already with Houston that year so I think they've never get the chance to play together before. Though they are getting a good bonds with the rest of their teammates as Paul is really making a big impact sharing the ball to everyone. They've still got the chance even they are now the underdog after WB left them, but with how the entire team are doing they still making the win.

I was looking into that link before I posted my last reply, I can't really find the name of Chris Paul, I tried "CTRL F"...

OKC managed to beat Dallas as well, they are seriously going for that playoff spot very heavily, I wasn't really expecting them to make this much noise but kudos to them, Chris Paul is getting older every year and he has been slow for a minute there but dude managed to score 13 of the OKC's last 17 points to bring the win home.

Whoa! I just watched half of the game and went to sleep but I didn't think that they could really win that game.
CP3 is really doing it.
It is like he is proving something to those teams that let him go.  Grin

Look at this balance of stats.

  •                 R    A   PTS
  • Chris Paul  8    7   17
  • S. Adams  11   2   10
  • D.Schroder 7   4   20
  • S. G-A       10  3  19
  • D.Gallinari  3    2  20

Chemistry is real.

That's correct, they have a good Chemistry and thanks to Paul for making OKC a better team again, without Westbrook they are not a shitty team.

Grin Yes they are. The thing is both teams have gotten better.
Mike D'Antoni looks happy although they are ranking in the fourth place.
He did get what he want.
A speedy and offensive oriented team. He loves that kind of tactic.

Right now OKC has a reliable point guard and a good center in Kanter's hand. Now what's new was the rotation of the ball unlike when Westbrook is handling the ball where he always hug the ball for solo stats.

Enes Kanter is currently playing for Boston Celtics.

Traded from OKC to New York last 2017.

OKC managed to beat Dallas as well, they are seriously going for that playoff spot very heavily,

They are now ahead at least a good gap to the 8th and 9th spots.

They must maintain it so they will avoid the possibility of getting into a deathmatch. An underrated team in action. They have a good run this season.

Yeah and while he is good on the offensive boards and scoring he couldnt stop the Pope from scoring.  There is a reason he doesnt stick on any team for a long time.  He is a huge defensive liability.  If you cant play defense in the nba as a center you wont last long.

I am not a total risk taker so if I were to bet for the Lakers, I will only bet an amount I am willing to lose. Anyways, let's see if something will change tomorrow.

Considering you only want to bet for an amount you willing to lose, I see it's not a wise way to push for 13% winning. I'd rather skip that match and find another. It's more disappointing to lose on low odds compared to fair odds.

As for me, my minimum low odds for ML is @1.3 for favorites. Well, your choice, your decision.

Can the Wizards again make an upset today?

Still no Hachimura and bell but it's the same lineup that beats the Heat in their last game.

If ever Wizards able to win against Magic, I don't call it an upset. Magic, the same as Wizards, is having difficulty too establishing winnings on their last 10 games. Wizards winning against the strong Heat is what we can call an upset. Can't believed Heat allows a 42 points run for the Wizard in the 2nd quarter alone.

Anyways as of posting, it looks like Magic will take the win although who knows what will happen for the remaining 9 minutes of the regulation.

OKC had a legit run this season, yeah, I agree that they'll be in playoffs like the Dallas Mavericks as the usual playoffs contender which are the Warriors, Spurs and Blazers might not make it this season.

Washington on the other hand can't catch a break, they are already without ball and have been horrible but now their rookie Hachimura also lost a ball, not the basketball type of ball neither, he had a surgery and hopefully will be back in few weeks but it is important for rookies to play every game they can to get better and adjust to NBA style of basketball.
Just like the Warriors, Washing had some serious injury problems this season but them having a win against the top 2 team in the East is BIG.

Wow, I didn't really notice that Clarkson was already traded for the Jazz in exchange for Exum.
He is doing quite well in Jazz and I was really shocked when I saw him.

I guess that is because I have not been watching too much Jazz games and Cavs.
Suddenly, Mitchell could focus on being and off guard rather than doing both Jazz and they got Conley too as back up but I will also prefer Conley to be the shooter waiting for the ball. Let Clarkson handle the play.

They can even win against a strong Clippers.  Shocked
Mitchell do have a good back up just in case he's not performing well or the tight defense of their opponents trap him up, Clarkson can  produce if
the coach will let him attack as he can also pass the ball to Gobert or to any shooters outside. Jazz coaching staff needs to blend the players and allow
them to enjoy each and everyone's company while playing inside.

Cavs just wanted some picks so they traded him, cavs is also actively seeking to send Kevin Love as well because thats a good player they don't need right now, Kevin Love can make a difference in any other team right now, and I mean ANY team because he is a good player but dudes salary is too high for his talent, he used to worth that money and after 2016 lebron pressured the ownership to give everyone unreal salaries as a thank you, tristian thompson had like one of the highest for a role player ever as well so they are having trouble trading Kevin Love because of that salary. If they could find a team that needs Kevin Love type of player and has a useless but high paid player, they could just give cavs the useless player plus some picks to get Kevin Love but at this point thats a rare thing to ask.
